went to Sacramento - Calif.
snowed during nite, ground white
Joe Metcalf woke us up at 3: A.M & at 3:30 we were on our way to Calif. We were going in Our car but Joe wanted to try his out. There was snow on road most of the way & out of Winnamucca they were packed & icy we went all over the road & I thought we would end up in ditch but Ivard streightened it out. It blizzared all way over Donnar's Pass & was raining in Sacramento and never stoped today, first they've had in 43 days. We got to Lyles at 2:30. We ate supper _ visited & played games.
It was 11:30 time we went to bed. Lyle left for base at 11: to work.
They had just got home before we got here with Terry, from hospital at Travis. He got better so fast he didn't have to be Kept in Isolation like they thought he would.
