Stake conference

nice day

We got home from New Medows at 3:45 AM & went to bed & at 6:30 father got up & took Dale on paper route, 2 trips, they didn't bring all his papers. Ivard went to bed & Jerry & Dean went to conference I did a big basket of iorning & painted & made chilli

Ivard & I played 2 games scrabble & Kids came & we ate. Gail came & we had Jackies birthday cake & icecream. Gail & Ivard took our 2 cars up & gassed up.

Jerry has to take Ivard back to New Medows by 8: AM. Gail went home at 7: & I went to bed until time to go to work. Gail gave J. red leather gloves. she got another pr. woll & leather, 2 pr. knee socks, Set Avon Peach - lip dew Saving stamp pajama [rest of list not legible].

Ivard had to go to New Medows at 6: A.M. Jerry ran him up to R.R. to meet guys. I washed cloths and painted.

Jerry went to work atll day

Dean cleaned up house

Dale went to help Deacons do yard for widow lady.

I made 2 cakes for Jackies birthday and went up & got groc. & came home & iced cakes. Jerry came at 5: & at 5:30 Jerry & I & Dean took Dale up to & Jackie up to Gails & left them & we headed for New Medows to get father, has to lay over the week end. We stoped in McCall & ate & went to show "Mr. Mosses" went on to New Medows & waited for father to get in at 12:45 & we came home stoped & got Dale, it was 3:45 A.M.

Ward reunion

Nice again

I came home from work & Ivard was to work. I took Jerry up to work & came home & went out to Johnsons to pour grapes but she hadn't got the molds so I came home & went up town & got groc. & got some treats & took to school for Jackies birthday came home at 1: & put groc. away & read paper & my new relief society mag. & laid down for a hr. then got up & made a casserole for ward reunion. Ivard got home at 7: & we all went up to church to reunion, banquet & programe real nice. Dean left after we ate & went to ball game Came home at 9:30 & went to bed. I was dead.

Ray sent Jackie birthday Present

Sunny & warm today chilly in nite. I came home from work & Ivard had just got home from work. We went to bed & Ivard gave me a good rub down. We had just got to sleep when Gail called & wanted us to tend Kids awhile. I told him we had to sleep but he brought them any way. I was so made, he brought them at 11:30 & never came until nearly 6: I haven't had any sleep all week. Ivard tended baby & made cake & jello & got supper.

Ivard went & got Jackie from Primary & we ate when Jerry came from work.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

Ivard didn't work today.

Jerry & Dean delivered Jerrys Stanley Party.

Wednesday, October 27, 1965

Sent Genes money & letter

Road Show.

29 degrees when I came from work but sunny & nice all day. had doors & windows open all afternoon. I ate & read paper & went to bed. Ivard was still in bed & gave me a good rub down with body lotion.

Ivard got bumped & went looking at places with some guy. Came at 2:45 & dashed up & got Genes money

I got up at 2: & made some tea & washed batch of cloths & got supper meat Pie with biscuits on top

Jackie went to a birthday Party after school & Jerry brought her home when he came from work

Dean & Jerry had to be to church at 6: for road show. Ivard took Dale to Piano L., Dean will go tomorrow.

Ivard, Dale, Jackie & I went to road show & at 8:15 I had to dash Ivard over to go to work, Boise. I got back in time to see our Ward. Got home at 9:30 & went to bed until work.

Sunny & nice 75 got down to 32.

I came home from work & took Jerry to work & came home & ate & read paper & washed batch of cloths & went to relief Society. Came home at noon & washed batch of cloths & dried other one & went to bed at 12:15. Kids woke me up at 4:15 & I read paper in bed. Dean went on school business & brought Jerry home from work. Dale never did come from school, went to Hoaggs. got home at dark, they brought him.

No Mutual but Jerry had to go to genelogy meeting & Dean went & Practiced organ. Me & Kids went to bed. Ivard got home about 8:15. I went to work at 11:

Ivard left for work at Nyssa at 6: A.M., Jerry took him up.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed at 9:15 woke up at 1:15 & made rice pudding for breakfast & cottage cheese jello salad for supper & baked beans & cooked steak

Jerry & Dean went to road show dress rehersal at 7: & me & Kids went to bed.

Ivard got home at 8:15 Jackie & I got up & went up & got him and we went back to bed.

I came home from work & went to bed with Ivard.

Jerry, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S. Ivard got up & him & Jackie went to S.S. I woke up at noon & read paper in ed while Jerry fixed dinner.

I washed Dales coat & Jackies Sweater. and painted on relief Society bizzar Kids books

Ivard, Jackie & I rode up to Rail Road & Ivard bought us a cone on way home.

Dean went to choir practice for Stake Conference & Jerry went with him

Dale & Jackie had bath & at 6:00 Ivard, Jerry, Dean, Dale & Jackie went over to Owyhee Ward to Brent Schulthies missionary farewell. I went to bed & they got me up at 10:30 to go to work.

Saturday, October 23, 1965

Dean took first scholarship test

Sunny & nice 30 degrees this morning.

I came home from work & took Jerry to work.

Dean went up to H.S. at 7: AM to take first Scholarship test.

I mixed bread, made 2 loaves white, 2 loves oatmeal raisin & 3 pans cinnamon rolls. changed beds & washed. Ivard cleaned my room & went to work on Emmett at 11:30.

Dean & I made bed, & he cleaed down stairs & Kitchen.

Dale went with his paper guy getting new starts.

Jerry got done at 1: & Dean went & got him.

Dale got enough starts to win his trip to San Francisco.

I went to bed at 3: until time to go to work, Ivard got home in time to get me up.

Jerry took Kids out to Supper.

Friday, October 22, 1965

Sunny & warm. 30 degrees when I came from work. No school. Jerry didn't have to work so him & Dean left for Boise to do genelogy as soon as I got home. Came home at 12:30

Ivard went to work at 5:30 AM, got home at 5:

I went to bed at 9:30 & woke up at noon. I figured Deans Dairy queen slips for summer & we went up & settled up & he asked him to work tonite. Got 76. from Combined Ins. should have been 300. I went & paid car Ins. Dodge. We came home at 5:30 & Jerry had supper ready & we ate & Dean went to work at D.Q. Dale was at Hoags all afternoon & came home at 7: & ate & went out getting new starts with his supervisor

I went to bed at 6:45 until time to go to work. Ivard watched T.V. & Jerry painted.

Sunny & a little cooler. Had to scrape wind shield today for first time.

I came home from work & Ivard was gone to work, no one knew where. I took Jerry to work & came home & went to bed.

No school today - teachrs Institute.

Dean had all Kids fed & they were out playing. I woke up at 1: & Dean hadn't even done dishes, he fixed Kids lunch. I embroidered Relief S pillow slips. At 3:30 we took Debbie & Kristine home & I went to Primary with Jackie, to her class party. When we got home Ivard was home, been to Weiser. We went after Jerry but he'd come home. Jerry went & got groc. & fixed supper. Ivard & I went to bed at 7: Ivard was sick, I went to work at 11:

I came home from work & ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. I woke up at 1:15.

Ivard went up to R. R to see about job & put some money in bank for Ray.

I got up & washed some cloths & cooked supper. We went up to school & picked Dale & Jackie up at 3: & Dale went to Piano lesson early. Dean went at 4:15 when he got home.

We ate at 6: & I got my books up. I went to bed & Ivard rubbed me good with lotion. He & Jackie & Dale went over to Gails & brought Debbie & Kristine home to stay all nite. Kids all went to bed early. Ivard stayed up & watched late show when I left for work.

Ivard didn't work again today.

I called Ray

Sunny most of day. rained most of nite & warmer.

I came home from work & Ivard was still in bed, He didn't work today.

I read paper, ate & washed batch of cloths & got ready & went to relief Society at 9:40. Ivard was still asleep after R.S. I went to bank to check on Rays checking account.

I came home at 1: & went to bed & never woke up until 5: & I got supper. Gail & family came & got Rays World boks, then brought them back, thought he was going to sell them but didn't.

We ate & Jerry, Dean & Dale left for Mutual at 6: so Dean could practice organ.

I went to bed until time to go to work

I came home from work & went to bed until 10:; Ivard came back to bed. I went to Irene Johnson's to Paint class at 10:30 & came home at 2:40. I painted my Initials on bag I made at class & ate & went to bed at 3:30

Ivard had gone to work on Wilder local.

I woke up at 5:30 when Jerry called for some one to come & get him, Dean went. Dean fixed supper. I read paper in bed.

At 6:30 Jerry & Dean went up town then went to Mutual meeting.

I stayed in bed until time to go to work.

I read Paper in bed & got up when Jerry, Dean & Dale left for Priesthood.

Ivard got up & got ready & him & Jackie went to Sunday S. I washed 5 batches of cloths & cooked dinner, made cake & jello too baked squash. We ate when they came home about 12:30 & Jackie did dishes.

Jerry & Dean went over to Stake H. to meeting. Ivard watched ball game & had nap.

I painted all afternoon & put clothes up.

Ivard didn't work today.

I had a bath & Ivard, Jackie & I went to Church at 7: Jerry Dean & Dale went at 6:30 for choir practice. I laid down until time to go to work at 11: Ivard got bumped. Went on extra board

Dean went on first date, school dance double dated with Gregg Kotter

Jerry went to work all day today. Ivard left about 6:

Dean cleaned up house & I iorned all day long got it all done up. embroidered some.

Jackie went up to Debbies at noon when Dean took Jerry back from lunch & she went skateing at roller drome. Dean got her at 5:30 when he got Jerry. He went & got hair cut this afternoon & I washed it I made big Kettle of chilli

We ate when Jerry got home & watched T.V.

Ray & Evelyn schulthies came tonite for awhile.

Ivard got home at 10:30 & we watched show.

Dean left at 9:, went with Barbra Jenkins. Jerry went to bed early.

I took Ivard to work at 6: AM after I cooked breakfast for all of them, hot cakes, bacon & eggs. Got Ivard's check & came home & Kids went to school & Jerry went to work. I read papers & embroidered all morning & washed some cloths. Jerry came home for lunch & I took him back to work & went to bank, Pd. place & bills. Came home & got supper & we ate when Jerry got home. Dean went & got him. I made chilli.

At 6: Jerry & I took Dean up to church to practice organ & we went up town & laid away some Xmas Presents at Pennys & Woolworths then we went to Grand Opening of Owyhee Shopping center on 12th,  got Dean & came home at 7:30 & Nancy & her Mother came & we saw slides Gene sent. They left at 10:15 & I went & got Ivard.

Kids went to school & Jerry left for work. Ivard didn't have to go until 10: today he went over to Venice Buells & got my & Jerrys check she got for us. Plant is down until Sun. nite. I embroideried & fixed Deans tax money to turn in. Jerry came home at noon for luch & I took him back to work & went up to Superior Western at 1: & Andree cut & tinted my hair. I went & bought 4 flannel shirts for Ivard for Xmas & got some hair nets, clips, ect. & groc. Came home & made hambergers & trimmings for supper & we ate when Jackie came from Primary & Jerry got home from work. Ivard was home when I got home about 4:

Kids went to school & Ivard went to work at Nyssa left at 6: & Jerry went to work at 8: I read paper in bed & got up about 9: & ate & washed some cloths & embroideried all day on relief Society Pillow cases.

Avon lady delivered my stuff $37. & I ordered another 12.

I got supper & we ate when Jerry got home & he did dishes & Dean & Dale went to Piano l. Jerry & I & Sis watched T.V. & Jerry worked on genelogy.

Ivard came about 8:30 got bumped & took factory job for tomorrow.

We went to bed at 10:30. I laid off, flowing too much

I came home from work & took Jerry to work & came home & got ready & went to relief S. work day at 9:, made door wind chimes all but putting together, made them out of plastic crystals & baked them. had good lunch. Came home at 2: & went to bed a little while, after I cleaned up. I gushed all over my self at R.S.

We ate supper & Jerry, Dean & Dale left for Mutual at 6: so Dean could practice organ & Dale went out & got 6 new starts Ivard got home at 8:30 he'd got bumped & went to New Meadows yesterday but it was mistake & yard master went & got him at 5: AM & brought him back & he went on Nyssa today.  Got bumped again tonite & took factory job. we watched movie & went to bed. I laid off

I washed a batch of cloths ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:45. I woke up at 2:45 & washed another batch of cloths & put cloths away, made out Hobbycraft order & got supper. Dean went & got Jerry & he showered & we ate at 6:10 when Dales paper guy left, collected this mo. bill.

at 6:30 Jerry & Dean left for Boise to genelogy library. Jackie did dishes & I went to bed at 6:30, don't feel good.

I went to work at 11: Ivard still wasn't home. Called home at 11:45 & again at 6:30 AM. never did come

Jackie got Ivard up at 10: & he took her up to S.S. I got up when Kids came home & helped Jerry get dinner & we ate & Jerry & Dean did dishes & Dean went to Practice to sing in Conference.

Ivard watched world series & Jerry & I listened to my new records. Ivard & I played Scrabble & Ivard had bath.

I came home from work& Jerry was to work & Dean was cleaning the house. I ate & read paper & changed all the beds & washed everything up & filled neighbors lines. I went to bed at 12:30 & woke up at 3:45 & got up & got cloths in & washed some more. Jerry got home at 1: for day & helped Dean clean and he got supper.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed, Ivard was still in bed, & gave me a good rub down. He got up at 10:30 & went up town all day got home at 5:30. Got new points & plugs in Desoto, anti-freeze new oil seat & changed oil in rear end. I got up at 3:30 & cleaned up & did a little Patching.

Dale went collecting & Dean did last nites dishes. Jerry came home & we fixed supper.

Dale went collecting after school & got home at 7:30

I went to bed at 7:30 until time to go to work.

I came home from work & ate & went to bed at 9: Jerry had to be in Boise to see about Job, didn't get it, no car. hunted all day.

I woke up at 1:30 & got up & washed some cloths, made jello & read my new relief society magazine & papers.

Jerry got home same time Kids came from school & we ate.

Jackied did dishes & Dean & Dale went to Piano L.

I went to bed until time to go to work. Jerry didn't go again.

We came home from work & Ivard was home in bed, got here 1: AM I read paper & ate & read my relief society lesson & got ready & went to relief society at 9:45. I came home at noon & Ivard was gone he never got home until 4:30, been selling I went to bed at 12:30 & Lynda woke me up at 2:30, calling.

Jerry had bath & went to bed & never got up until 3:45

I got supper & we ate when Kids got home.

Kids left for Mutual at 6:, Dale went swimming & Dean had to practice organ. Ivard did dishes & I went to bed. Ivard rubbed me good all over with lotion. I'm so tired. never got to sleep until 9: Ivard went to World Book meeting at Homestead & I took him to catch 11:30 train on my way to work. Jerry laid off

Sunny & nice. We came home from work & ate & read paper & went to bed at 9: at 11: phone woke me up, school nurse called to say Jackie was sick so I went & got her & fed her & put her to bed & I washed 2 batches of cloths & painted all afternoon.

I got Jerry up at 1:45, he had to go to go up town, got home at 3:30

We ate when Kids got home, Jerry fixed it & Dale went collecting for paper. Ivard called about 5:30 on his way through town to G.F. I went to bed but couldn't get much sleep.

Ivard took Dean up to school at 8:30 to decorate for Home Comeing dance & he went to R.R. & had hair cut. they came home at 10: & Dean watched Conference then he went back to decorate at noon until 2: I fixed lunch & Ivard & I played Scrabble Jerry listened to Conference & did genelogy all day I cooked supper & made a cake for tomorrow.

At 7: Ivard took Jerry & Dean over to Stake H. to Priesthood Conference & at 8:15 Jackie & I took Ivard up to catch train & went over & got Kids & droped Dean off at H. School at 9:. In charge of HomeComeing  dance. He came home with some Kid. I went right to bed.

I came home from work & Ivard was home & in bed. Got here at 2: A.M & missed out, should have been back to G.F. at 8:45 & no way, he left car down there.

I got up at noon & washed cloths & Painted until Ivard came then we went up town & Paid bills & went out to Butterys. Had supper at Smiles. Came to D.Q. & had sundee while we waited for Dean. Last day to take truck out. Came home at 6:30 & Jerry got ready & droped Ivard & Dean off at High S foot ball game & he went to Stake H. Had to talk at baptismal. He came home at 8:30 & we were haveing his Stanley Party. at 10: Jackie & I went to D.Q. & picked up Ivard & Dean & we went up to R.R. Dale went to party at Crofts. My nite off
