sunny & nicer.

Today is Stake conference.

Gene got up & went to Nyssa to spend day.

I got up late, my back still bothers me.

Jerry went to work 9: to 5:

Ray worked on his tupper ware outfit went up to store on bike & got some stuff & fancied it up.

Ray went to work 5: to close.

We ate about 4:30.

I had bath, washed my hair & when it was dry did me a color shampoo.  washed Jackies hair & she had bath

Dean cleaned up & made cookies for their lunch tomorrow after we sent Dale to store for groc. on his bike after supper.

Jerry rode bike to work this morning & Dean walked up & got it & Jerry gave him milk, gal., drinks for all of us & popcicles.

Jerry came home & got ready & at a 7: Alice & another girl came & got him & they went to Boise to show, got home 2: AM Gene got here about 1: I watched T.V.

nice today & warm

Ivard went out & checked water & I got Kids off to work.

Jerry took Ray up to work at 9:30 to 6: He walked rode bike up 11: to 6:

I washed some cloths.

Ivard watched ball game & left for Twin Falls at noon.

Kids came home for lunch about 2: & Dale stayed home the rest of day.  He is so tired & cross.

Dale walked up & brought bike home Jerry rode & brought me a drink.

I sure feel awful, crocheted most of day.

Gene & Dean got home earlier, about 6:.

We ate & Jerry got ready & went to show, walked.

The district lady came & brought Rays tupper ware suit case & supplies he is now a dealer.  He studied it awhile then him & Gene cleaned up & went to Stake dance.

I got Kids to bed & watched T.V.

Friday, June 28, 1963

hot_cool tonite.

I feel awful.  I got up & fixed lunches & got Gene, Dean & Dale off to work & finished my puzzle, read paper & crocheted.

Ivard got up & went out to farm & changed water.  Ray worked 9:30 to 6:

Lyle came about 11: & got Jerry to go help in Metcalfs tomatoes.  He left Stanley Terry and David here all day, about drove me crazy.  Ivard came home at 3: & fixed them something to eat.  Lyle & Barbara brought Jerry back at 5: & he got ready & went to work at D.q I took him up & Jerry gave me a drink.

I fixed supper & we ate & Lyle & Barbara went to store & I rode out with Ivard to change water came back & had icecream & cookies Lyle bought then we played Penochle until midnite Ray went Tupper wareing, came home about 11: & him & Gene went up & got us a drink & brought Jerry home.  Kids were all asleep.  they went home about 12:30 A.M

I cleaned bathroom, washed walls, woodwork & floor.  Ivards nite off.

Thursday, June 27, 1963

Hot- tonite it got real blustery.

I got up at 5:30 & fixed lunches & Gene, Dean & Dale went to work at 7: I read paper & crocheted

Jerry took Ray up to work at 9:30 to 6: & brought me back a drink.  I worked on my puzzle most of day.

Ivard & Jackie rode bike up to D.q. & had lunch then she went to Rhodes & played all afternoon  Jerry rode bike up & had his lunch & came home & did dishes.

I rode with Ivard over to Bixbys & up to Rail road, I sat & crocheted, then I signed for unemployment & we stoped at D.q & had milk shake.

Jerry cooked supper & we ate & he went to work.  Ray came home & ate & went Tupper Waring.

Jackie & I went out to change water with Ivard then we stoped at D.q. & had a drink & a sundee.  rained on us.  Gene came up & we sat & talked awhile.  Came home & watched T.V. awhile.  I went to bed early.  My back Kills me.  Ivards nite off

Wednesday, June 26, 1963

nice day

Gene got up & went to work at 7: I couldn't get him up.  I got up at 5:45 & made his lunch & read paper & crocheted.

Dean & Dale got up late & got ready & rode their bikes out to Hurrens to Piano lesson.  Dale had his first & came home & got his meat & Veg. & went to cook-out for his Primary Class.

Dean came home & cleaned up house.

I washed some cloths, crocheted & worked on my puzzle

Jerry rode back up & got us a drink.

Ray worked 9:30 to 6: & Jerry worked 6: to Close.

I fixed supper & we ate before Jerry left.

Gene didn't get home until dark.  Watched T.V. Awhile & went to bed at 10:45.

Ray went Tupper waring.

Ivard got home from Twin Falls about midnite.  Ray & Dean went & hoed church beets

I got up at 5:30 & made Gene, Dean & Dales lunch & they went to work at 6:30.

I crocheted, read paper & washed a batch of cloths, cut the sleeves off on my new dress & hemmed then had a shower & got ready & Jackie bathed while I made her & I a sack lunch & at 9:45 Mrs. Korth came & got us & we went out to Carrolls to all day work meeting, relief society, came home at 5:30 & Jerry had potatoes on & I finished getting supper.

Jerry went to work 6: to close Ray worked at 10: to 6: him & Kids got home same time & we ate then Gene took me to store then we went to D.q. & had drink & got milk.  Gene brought me home & went to M_ Men Gleaners, Ray was gone with Tupper Ware lady.

Dean made cookies & crocheted & I got books up.

Monday, June 24, 1963

Ray became a Tupper Ware dealer

cloudy & sunny _ breezy, not too warm.

I got up at 5:30 & got Gene, Dean & Dale off to work then went back to bed & never woke up till 9: it was so stormy looking I didn't wash beds, did 2 batches.

Jerry went to work at 10: to 2:30 for Ray & Ray went to Boise to Tupper Ware meeting & he became a dealer, hes done so well the last week from his party.

I cooked dinner & Kids came home at noon to eat.  They got home at 6:

Jerry got home this afternoon & hoed his flower beds.  When Gene got cleaned up he took Jerry to store for me then we ate.

Ray went to Parma to Tupper Party with manager.

Dean went to Mutual.

I crocheted quite a bit today Relief Society teachers came.

Jackie did dishes & Jerry wiped.

We watched T.V. tonite

Gene & Jerry went up to D.q. & brought me a drink.

Sunday, June 23, 1963

Cloudy most of time & cool.

Gene had to get up & go change water got home in time to go to Priesthood & Sunday school, came home & got Dale & Jackie.

I never got up till 11:15, read paper & worked on puzzle.

Ray went to work 11: to 5: & Jerry went 5: to Close.

I cleaned up & had dinner ready when Kids got home at 1:45.  Dean did dishes then Gene took Dean & Dale out with him to change sprinklers.  Wally gave Dean & Dale a job to work about every day.

They came home at 6:30 & got ready & Gene, Ray, Dean & Dale went to church.

Jackie went to bed and I watched T.V.

I went to bed after news.

Saturday, June 22, 1963

cloudy & cool

Gene got up & went to work before any one was up, came home for lunch. 

Ivard planted some garden and watched ball game & at noon took off for Twin Falls, drove our car.  never spoke a dz. words to me today.  What a life.

I cooked breakfast at 11: & we ate.

Ray went to work 10: to 6: Jerry went 11: to 6: I took him up & got milk before Ivard left with car.

I washed some cloths.  Crocheted all afternoon, Jerry went & got me some thread to make him a vanity set.  I worked on books all morning.

We had supper & watched T.V.

Dean did up work

Jerry walked up to D.q. & talked for hr & half.  Ray went getting Tupper ware orders.  never got home until after 1:30.  Gene was tired out he came home at 10:15 & cleaned up & ate & went to bed, he'd been changing sprinkler.

Dale mowed neighbors lawn, earned 1.

Jerry & I went to bed at 1:15 A.M.

Stormy & cold all day

Gene went to work, came home for dinner & never got home until 10:30 tonite.

I crocheted & read most of day.

Ivard went & got his drivers licence this morning, hoed garden.

Jerry & I went to bank & got a few groc. this afternoon & had drink at D.q.

Ray worked at D.q. 9:30 to 6: & Jerry form 6: to close.

I cooked supper & we ate & I took Jerry up & brought Ray home.

Ivard & Jackie went out to farm & finished cultivating, till dark.  When they got home Ray took off getting Tupper Ware orders till midnite.

Ivard watched T.V. I got mad & went to bed.  He won't talk or take me any place. acts like a visitor when he's home.  Always does what he wants to do.  I'm getting so I don't care

got letter from Kay

hot _ got real cloudy this afternoon rained 90 breeze

Gene went to work at 6: & Ivard got up & watered garden & ate & at 8:30 Jackie & I took him out to farm to cultivate corn.  I put a roast on & Jerry cooked potatoes & made salad & I made gravy when I got back from getting Ivard & we ate at 12:30.

I washed a batch of cloths & droped Ray off at work at 9:50 & took Jackie to Primary then took Jerry up town & came back & parked at church & crochet until Primary was out, Jerry walked back down to church.

I took Ivard back out to farm at 1:40 then went & signed up for unemployment & went to D.q. & had a drink & got milk then Ray sent me over to Dairy to get 2 gal. of punch for his party tonite.  Dean scrubbed & cleaned up house.  I got home at 3:15 & Jerry went up town.  I worked on my books & went after Ivard at 4:20

Gene came home for dinner.

It really pourned on us when I went after Ivard.  We went over & got check for $270. for Selling cooler & got $38. worth of groc. Ivard Kept $66. for his expenses.

Ray had Tuper Ware party only 2 showed up but he had $150. in orders.  rained hard again tonite.

Wednesday, June 19, 1963

sunny & cloudy this afternoon

I had a shower & got ready & took Dean & Dale out to Hurren's at 10: for their piano lesson & crocheted while I waited.  I took Jackie because Gene came & took Jerry out to side cultivator, then Lyle came & helped Gene so Jerry came home & cooked dinner for them.  I brought Kids home at 11:20 & Jerry took me up to Pecock's & I had my hair cut, color rince, shampoo & set. Called Jerry & he came & got me at 2: stayed & got a few groc.

Ray worked 9:30 to 6: then went & hoed church beets with Edith.  We ate supper & Jerry went to work 6: to close.  I went up to church at 7: & helped paint.  We did 3 rooms about 9 of us.  at 8:30 Mr. Ward, contractor sent me up to D.q after dilly & he treated us all.  We were done at 9: I stoped at D.q. on way home for about hr. & had drink, Gene was up there.  We came home & watched T.V. Ivard got home from Twin Falls about midnite, we were still watching show.

Tuesday, June 18, 1963

real hot.

I got up after Gene went to work.  he came home for lunch.

Ray went to work 10: to 6: & Jerry 6: to close.

Lyle was here for lunch & all afternoon, hunting work.

I washed 3 batches of cloths and spent all day, nearly, working on my puzzle.  Crocheted awhile.

Gene came home earlier & got cleaned up & went to M Men gleaners, Jerry couldn't.

Ray came home & cleaned up & him & Phill. took the Bulter girls to Idaho City to camp to sing, they went swimming got home about 11:30.

I crocheted & watched T.V. awhile & went to bed early

Monday, June 17, 1963

Gene & I got a combined Ins of America accident policy

hot & a breeze.

I got up at 5:30 & started washing then I read paper & crocheted awhile.

Gene went to work at 7: A.M. & came home a hr for lunch.  He got home at 6:45 tonite & ate & had a bath.

I changed all the Kids beds & washed 8 big batches & iorned all afternoon, 57 pieces. busy all day.

Ray went to work 10: to 6:, Jerry took him up.

Jerry went up town on business for him, me & Ray then him & Dean went & bought a bunch of flowers & got part of them sent out.

Jerry had to work from 5: to 6:

I got super & we ate when Jerry & Ray got home & Jerry helped do beds & Dean did dishes & Ray got cloths in & at 7: Jerry took Ray & Dean & dumped off at Mutual & he went to show, had date, with Rama Wilson.

Lyle, Barbara & Kids came about 4:30 to 5:30

Ins guy came to collect on Jerrys job accident Ins. policy & sold me & Gene one.

Sunny & warm, stormy in evening

Gene had to go milk for Wally this morning & tonite.

I laid in bed & read paper & worked cross word puzzle.  got up at 11: & helped Dale & Jackie get ready for sunday school.

Ray worked at D.q 10: to 5: & Jerry worked 11: to 5:

Gene & Dean went to Priesthood & Gene came home after & took Dale & Jackie to sunday school.

I worked on Northwest Memorial Contest all day.

Kids got home at 1:30 & I fixed dinner & we ate.

Gene went after Jerry & Ray & didn't get home until too late for me to go to 2nd ward to Gary Buell & John Hales farewell

Kids all went to church & Jackie & I stayed home.

Watched T.V. Kids came at 9:30 & Alice & some girl came & visited awhile out on lawn.  We all went to bed at 10: but Ray & he watched late show.  lightening tonite.

Sunny today

I washed a few cloths & Ivard & Gene helped me move my bed around & clean my bed room then they watched ball game.

Gene didn't feel good & stayed home from work again today.

Ivard threw a tantrum when he left for work because all the money I had to give him was $24.  said he'd Keep his Check & not even come home any more.  I ask him twice when I doled out his check & he never did tell me what he needed.  Then he blames me.  all the Kids heard.  He never even said goodbye.  Lyle, Barbara & Kids came just as he was getting in car & gave him a Fatherday present, we didn't.  I feel so bad, its not my fault he keeps makeing more bills & I show him what I figure out to do with his check, never enough yet He acts like I should pull some out of hat or something.  I was so upset I was onery with everyone & Lyle left about 4:30, Kids said they were going to stay all nite & go to church with us.

Jerry & Ray worked at D.q all day.  Gene & Ray went to Stake dance & Jerry went to Party.

Friday, June 14, 1963

rained most of nite & on & off all day.  I had to wash 3 batches & dry in dryer.

Gene was stick today & didnt go to work.

Jackie & I rode up to Dr. with Ivard after they came back from getting check to visititing at Dusty's.  I crocheted while I waited for him to get shot.  Came home & figured out his check then we went up to bank & paid our bills.

Ivard cleaned up our milk cooker & at 5:30 Ivard, Gene & I took it over to guyon hyway between Nampa & Caldwell to sell.  He called tonite & said he'd sold it already for $270.

Ray worked all day & Jerry tonite.  We ate & Dean did dishes and they watched T.V. Ivard & I played Scrabble

I sent Ray up for gal. root beer & icecream & we had floats.  We went to bed about 10:

I got up & got Gene off to work & read paper & crocheted.

Ivard fooled around most of day worked in garden some.

Ray worked at D.q. all day & Jerry tonite.

I rode over to farm with Ivard this morning.

Gene got home early & we ate and they did dishes & Ray took us up & bought us all a drink then we got a can of gas & took over to farm & Kids helped Ivard put cultivators on tractor then we all went over to see Lyle.  We visited & played Penochle.

We got home about midnite its getting stormy again.

Gene isn't feeling very good.  He had Dean out all afternoon helping him in hay.

Piano tuned first time

Sunny & nice - hot

I got up at 5:15 & got Gene up to go to work & went back to bed until 6:30. got up & read paper & crocheted and Dale & I played a game of Scrabble.  Gene came home at 9:30 & ate breakfast & Ray took him back to work so we could have pick-up to go to Piano lessons.  I took Ray up to work at 9:30, to 6: then got ready and took Dean & Dale out to their lesson at Hurrens at 10: A.M. I crocheted while I waited.  We picked Gene up at 11:30 & came home & Jerry had dinner cooked & we ate & Gene went back to work.

I washed 3 batches of cloths & crocheted most of afternoon.

Piano tuner came at 9:

Jerry slept all afternoon, hes half dead from his strenious M-Men gleaner weeks activities

We watched T.V. and I croched awhile.

Nice today & sunny

I got up at 7: & fixed Genes lunch & he went to work.

Jerrys birthday.  When we got up he had never come home last nite, went to McCall with Rodney.

I washed 2 batches of cloths & I worked on my Northwest Memorial fund (hospital) contest all day.

Ray worked at D.q. 9:30 to 6:

Dean walked up to D.q. & Ray gave him a gal milk & each of us a drink.

Dale went over t oChaneys for his Primary class.

Kids got their plastic pool out & went swimming on lawn.

I cooked supper & we ate at 6:15 when Ray got home.  Jerry got here about 5: & Gene came home early tonite, 5:30.

Jerry & Gene went to M-Men Gleaners & we watched T.V. We were all in bed by 10:

Dean decorated Jerry a cake & had 25 candles on it.

Gene got up & went to work

I read paper & spent all day long working on my contest.  washed a couple batches cloths.

Kids played in house today, played games & practiced piano, watched T.V. Dean typed genelogy & Dale worked on stamp books.

Ray worked at D.q. 9:30 to 6:

We ate supper and Dean did dishes then Bonnie Perry came and took Ray & Dean to Mutual. 

Rodney Hennis came & Jerry went to Boise to show with him, never came home all nite (went to McCall)

Gene came home & cleaned up & I fixed him something to eat we all went to bed early.

Jerry walked to work at 10:30 & home at 5:

I read paper in bed.

I feel a lot better today.

Dale walked over to Garners & went to sunday school with them & called up after & wanted to go to Butlers so I let him & he came home after church.

Jackie & I were home alone all day and I worked on my "North West Hospital" contest all day, till I was numb.

some girls came & got Jerry at 6:40 & took him to church for meeting before, M-Men Gleaner, his last.

Dale came at 9:15 & we had some icecream.

I crocheted & watched T.V.. Lyle brought Kids home from reunion about 11:30, they'd run out of gas.  Talked awhile & he went on home.

Ivard was allergic to tetnus shot & took a little at a time.

Gene-Ray & Dean went to Cleverly reunion

I didn't wake up until 7: & Gene was gone to work & Jerry on his M_Men_ Gleaner trip for day.

Gene came home for lunch.

Dean streightened up & I washed a batch of cloths & he hung them out while I was with Ivard.  He went & got a Dr. order at R.R. & went to Dr for Tetnus shot stepped on nail last nite.  He was allergic so they gave him a little every 20 min. till 12:30 & he had to leave or he'd been late for work.  I sat in car & crocheted then dashed home & got his things & Mrs Bixby brought me home from Dr. office & Ivard drove our car to Twin Falls.

I stoped at D.q. about 11: & Gail & Family were there eating, left for Family reunion after at Lava Hot Springs didn't offer to take any one, we were too broke to go.

Ray worked at D.q. 9:30 to 12: & got some one to work for him & he went with Lyle & Barbara to Boise to get a new stove.  Lyle & Ray came at 7: (Barbara stayed home) & picked up Gene Dean & Stanley & they left for reunion.  Jerry came at 6: & at 7:30 went to Stake M-Men dance got home at 3:30 A.M.

I chrocted most of day _ I feel awful.

Jerry was gone all day getting ready for banquet tonite

Dean scrubbed & cleaned house good.

Ivard changed fuel pump on pick up & hoed garden.

We got up at 6:30 & took Gene to work.

Ivard took Dale to Dr. & had his stitches out.

at 5: Ivard & I & Jackie went up & got milk & had drink & took garbage out to dump & Ivard steped on rusty nail.  we picked Gene up at 6:15 at Wallys & he came home & got ready & went to M-Men-Gleaner banquet with Jerry & Ray.

Ray worked at D.q. 10: to 6:

I made meat pie with biscuit on for supper.

We watched T.V.

Jerry just missed getting M-Men President again by 2 votes, he was sure glad.

Thursday, June 6, 1963

Sunny _ cloudy _ windy

Ray got up at 8: & went over to Stake House & helped Jerry decorate until 9:30 & he came home & went to work at D.q. 9:30 to 6:00, Jerry stayed home there all day & half the nite, Ray went back over after work.

I washed some cloths & Kids walked up to corner & went to Primary with Perrys.  I crocheted

At 3: Ivard & I Dean, Dale & Jackie went over to Rosewell & saw Lyles new house & helped put lineloum down then at 5: we all went to Weiser to see Gail.  got there at 6:10 but they weren't home (came over here).  We played Penochle till 8: then went up town to buy something to eat but every store in town was closed so we went back over to Lyles at 10: & ate & came home about 11: We brought Stanley home for a few days.

I went & signed for unemployment on our way, reopened my claim.

Wednesday, June 5, 1963

rained all night & morning.  cloudy & sunny rest of day _ cold breeze had a fire.

I got up at 6: & fixed Genes lunch & crocheted most of day.  I feel awful.

Ray went up & had hair cut & I washed his hair he didn't have to go to work until 10:30 to 6: & I went & got him.

Dean & Dale worked on their stamp collections and played games with Jackie.  Dean cleaned front room & did dishes & him & Dale walked up town & got some tapes to put their stamps in books.

Jerry chased around about his deal tonite & had to go work for Edith for hr. he fixed supper.

Gene came home early & we all ate & Gene & Ray went to Garns Swimming with Jerry & his M-M_Gleaner brunch

Mr. Jackson sent me a bunch of coin new papers.

Watched T.V

Ivard got home from Twin Falls about 11:30.

Tuesday, June 4, 1963

Sunny all morning, pitch black all after noon, breeze, rained on & off after 4: P.M.

I was in bed 4 hrs, got at 6:30 & fixed Genes lunch & read paper & crocheted

Changed 3 of the beds, Kids, and washed 7 big batches and iorned in between all day, did 48 pieces

Jerry went & got hair cut & cooked a big dinner & we ate at 1:30.

He went up town & bought us $20. worth of groc. our cupboard was bare.  He was rushing around all afternoon about M-Men Gleaner party on their teacher Mrs Murry tonite, getting flowers, present ect.

Gene came home early tonite 6:, & bathed & got ready & went with Jerry & his girl, Jerry came back after him

Ray worked 9:30 to 6: Jerry went & got him

Dean & Dale rode up to church with Jerry to Cub Scout Pack meeting & came home with den leader.  Ray & Jackie played "Crazy Eights" & records & I crocheted

I went to bed at 9:30.

Kids didn't have lesson this week, Mrs Hurren is in Utah.

Monday, June 3, 1963

rainy cold and stormy all nite & day _ rained again tonite.  H a fire all day.

I feel awful.  I got up & fixed Genes lunch & read paper & went back to bed.

Jerry chased around on business & had some one work for him tonite.

He brought space burgers & root beer home for supper.  played games with Kids & read new book "Dragonwick" Kids got at library for me.  spent all afternoon in bed reading

Jerry droped Ray & Dean off at Mutual & went to Stake house, they were going on hay ride but changed it to pot luck & squar dance at Melba on account of rain.

Gene didn't get home until after 8:30, rain & all.

Lyle, Stanley & Terry were here a few min.  They got their furniture today & moved into their house at Rosewell

I stayed up until 2:30 A.M & finished book Jerry got home at 12:30.

Jerry took Dean & they went collecting fast offerings.  Jerry came home at 11:30 & I got Jackie & Dale for sunday school.  Jackie gave 2½ min talk.

Gene got up early & had to go set water, came home about 1: & stayed until about 3: then took Dean & Dale with him so he could get through in time to go to Kurt Kotters farewell tonite.

Must be something in the wind my hay feaver is really acting up today.  I didn't feel like going to church.  I had dinner ready when they got home.

Gene, Ray _ Dean & Dale went to Kurts farewell & Jerry went to Fireside at Kuna, first night of M_Men Gleaner week.  Jackie & I went to bed at 7:30.

Kids got home at 10:30, they been to see Rhodes new house, Gene took Jalie home.  The laid in there until after midnite visiting.

Partly cloudy & breezy

Ivard got up at 5: & went out to farm to water.  I got up at 6:30 & fixed Genes lunch & he went to work & I read paper, fixed 4 cups strawberries and put 2 chickens into roast and changed Rays bed & washed 4 batches of cloths.

Ivard & I played a game of Scrabble & he packed & we ate dinner at 11:30 & he left for Twin Falls before noon to take the car back to Glenns Ferry.  Bixby picked him up there.  He took off in a huff again & never even said goodbye.

Ray worked at D.q 9:30 to 6:

Jerry got his check & went up town this afternoon.

Dean cleaned & scrubbed.  I crocheted awhile on Lynda's birthday Present & got books up.

Jerry worked at D.q 6: to close.

Gene & Ray had a fight over car & Ray took off on foot & brought him back, they Kept fighting about going together & finally Ray went in car & Gene in pick-up over to Stake House to dance.  Watched T.V until 11: & went to bed
