85° but it sure seemed hot.

I came home from work & Ivard was to work, floated and Gene was checking water then he went on rout with Gail, doesn't have much to do for few days.

I went to bed at 8:45 & woke up at 12:30 & everyone was gone, Jerry took Kids up to D.q. & bought their dinner brought me a drink.

Ivard called at 1:30 & I got up & got ready & went & got him & he got his check & we pd. bills & got groc. forgot to sign up for unemployment so had to dash back up at 4:

Ray worked at D.q. 10: to 6: & Jerry had to go at 5: till close

Car started heating up & boiled all over place, water pump I guess.

I took Ray to went & got Ray & we had supper & I went back to bed.

Ivard took me over & I went to work with Elna

I came home from work & Ivard was to work, floated on his day off.

I went right to bed at 8:45.

Ray went to work at D.q. 10: to 6:

Gene didn't have to work all day today took Dean out to drive a tractor in

They woke me up at noon getting a cow in so I got up & helped them & went right back to bed, woke up at 3: when phone rang & stayed in bed & read paper.

Ivard came home & him & Sis had a bath.

Jerry fixed supper & we ate at 5: Gene was home but Dale was off burning.

Jerry went to work at 6: to Close

I crocheted & watched T.V. until 9:30 then laid down a hr & got ready & went to work, I drove alone.

Ray went to road show practice then up & tended Gails Kids while he went to get truck fixed, Lynda was to work.

hot.  I got up & got Gene off to work & crocheted

I changed beds & washed up all the cloths.

Ray went to bank & went to work.  10: to 6: Jerry took him toTupper Ware meeting up to Howards.  His day off

Ivard picked berries & watered.

I bottled 17 qts blackberries, & put 5 tubs in freezer & did 4 pts beets.

Lyle Barbra & Kids came for about an hr this morning over on business

Dean & Dale did dishes & washed the bottles & Dean cleaned up house & his bedroom & him & Jerry made beds after Jerry got home.

I fixed supper & we ate when Kids got home.

Ray & I took Ivard up to work at 4: & went up to Gails a min.

Ray went to Road show practice then over to Yorgensens to Party after.

Gene & Dean went to mutual.

I had a shower & went to bed at 7: till 10:45.  Went back to work at Simplots tonite.  I drove stoped at D.q. & had coke on way.

Ivard ordained Dean a Teacher

I read paper in bed & worked on puzzle, never got up until 11:45

Ray went to work at 10: to 5:

Gene went & changed water then he & Ivard, Jerry & Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school.  Ivard ordained Dean a Teacher.  Ivard came home & took Dale & Jackie to S.S.

I streightened up house & was fixing dinner when they got home at 1:45.  Jerry ate first & dashed over to Stake House to meeting.

They watched ball game & we ate & Gene had nap & Dean & Dale did dishes.  Ivard had nap while I got books up.  He went to work at 4: I took him.

I wrote a letter to Claudia, 8 pages

Jerry went to work 5: till close, I took him

Gene, Ray, Dean & Dale went to church & up to Gails after till 10:30.

I watched T.V. & went after Ivard at 11: when he called.

Saturday, July 27, 1963

Ivard went back to work at Nampa

Lyle came & brought Dean home

hot.

I got Gene off to work & crocheted awhile & read paper before rest of them got up.

I washed cloths & bottles and Ivard picked berries.  I bottled 12 qts & made 4 pies.  cleaned house up a bit.

Ivard watched ball game and went back to work in Nampa at 4:.  We went up to Gails 7 got Jackie & droped him off at work.

Lyle came at 1: & brought Dean home & Dean scrubbed & cleaned floors

Lyle & family went up town & to Gails when we left at 3:30 to get Sis & they came back at 5: for supper.

I made chicken & noodles & cooked beets out of garden., cooked carrots & mixed with string beens & corn & had jacket potatoes.  Barbra brought stuff & made salad while I went after Jerry & Ray & we ate.  Jerry brought Softie to put on Pies.  We ate on lawn & played Penochle after.  Gene & Ray left about 9: for Boise with Phil Murry to dance.  Lyle left at 8: We watched T.V. & Jerry went & got us a drink.  Ivard got ride home about 11:

Warm today

Ivard planted 2 more rows beets & Killed another chicken & picked 4 cups raspberries & I fixed them for supper

Jerry took Ray to bank then to work 10: to 6: then he went up town & got me some groc.

I washed batch of socks & 3 other batches then I iorned all afternoon

at 2:30 Ivard took Jerry & Jackie up to Park & Jerry sat & read while Jackie went in little pool and Ivard went to R.R. & got a Dr's order & went to Dr. at 3:30.  Dale was over to Garners.

I stoped iorning at 5: & cooked supper beets & greens out of our garden & berries & fried chicken.  We ate at 6:30 when Ray & Gene got home from work.  Jerry ate before he left at 6:, worked until close.

Ivard & I, Gene & Jackie went up to Gails awhile, Lynda was to work at A.&W. Jackie was, stayed all nite.  We came home at 10: & Dale was alone, Ray had gone Tupperwaring.

Went to bed.

Dean stayed to Lyles

I got up & fixed Genes lunch & he went to work & I crocheted until rest got up and ate.

Ivard_Jerry & Dean picked 21 cups black berries & I washed bottles & bathed 21 qts after I came back from takeing Dale & Jackie to Primary & Ray to work 10: to 5:

Ivard Killed & cleaned 2 chickens

I had Shower & got ready & Dean Jerry & I went to Caldwell & pd. on lauawy & I went out to SImplots & got my check & was called back to work for Monday nite.

Came home & got supper & we ate & I took Jerry to work 5: to close & brought Ray home & picked up his Tupper Ware order & he delivered some & went to see Bishop.  Gene came at 5:45 & ate & cleaned up & at 6:15 Ivard & I, Gene, Dean, Dale & Jackie left for Parma with Ray.  He had a Tupper Ware Party at Helen Keller's & Ivard & Kids stayed to Lyles & I went with Barbra, Ivard & Lyle & Kids went to Parma to ballg.

we came back to Lyles & looked at pictures until Ivard came at 11:15.  I came home at 12:15 - Dean stayed

Ivard got home from Twin Falls at midnite Kids all came right after, I was in bed

Jerry worked 6: to close

hazy_hot but a breeze.

Gene went & changed water then took Ray to work & went up to Gails he didn't have to work today, only change water.  Ray worked 10: to 6:

Jerry worked in flowers, & books then went up town on Deans bike

I washed 4 batches of cloths & crocheted.  Don't feel very good.

Dean & Dale rode bikes out to Hurrens to piano lesson at 10: then Dale practice a ½ hr & went down to Gragersons to practice a part for Primary.  Dean was typing his stuff for quite awhile.

Lyle, Barbara & Kids came about 2:30 and we rode up to Gail's a min then went to Park & Lyle, Jerry & Dean went swimming in big pool & Kids went in Kids pool.  I sat & crocheted while we watched them, Dale was at Garners came home & Lyle left then in half hr. here he came back saw Gail & Gene go by, they came then Lynda came after Gail, she had to go to work.

Dean went up to Kurtz Park early to help set up to sell Pop.  Dale walked up.  Gene & Ray got ready & went up & Jackie & I stayed home, too late for Parade Sis was going to be in.  We were supposed to take our supper & eat with ward for celebration.  Gene & Ray went to dance

Gene came home from work at 9: & Ray took him back & I got ready & we took Rays Tupper Ware money to bank & got some lids then I took Ray to work at D.q 10: to 6: & I went up to unemployment office to orientation meeting & signed up 10: to 11:110. stoped at D.q & ray gave me 20 lbs sugar to do fruit.

Jerry & Dean had 14 cups berries picked.  I cooked dinner & went & got Gene & we ate then I crocheted while Dean did dishes & washed bottles then I bottled 14 qts while Jerry & Dean were writing Scout Camp history.

Jerry went to work 6: To close.

Dean made pineapple upside down cake & we ate when Ray came.  Gene got home at 5:30.

I watched T.V., went to bed about 9:30.

Ray went Tupper Wareing, then him & Jerry went partying after Jerry got off work.

Washed blankets for winter.

Monday, July 22, 1963

Gene got up & went to work, came at 9: & Ray took him back then came & got me & we took Rays Tupper Ware money to bank and got some lids then I took Ray to work and went back up to unemployment office to orientation meeting from 10: to 11:10 stoped at D.q. & Ray gave me 20 lbs sugar came home for lunch.

Rays day off, he went to Boise to Tupper Ware party until 1:30, he won highest dealer in Idaho.

I washed cloths and Dean cleaned house.

At 2: Lynda & Kids came to my 2nd Tupper ware party, only one that showed up.  I got 7 stars, she dated a party

I crocheted

Jerry worked 11: to 6:

Gene came at 11: & had me take him out to get tractor then we went to D.q. on way home & got punch & milk.

We had supper & Jerry _ Ray _ & Dean went to Mutual.  Gail, Lynda, & Kids came a few min to phone in an order.  watched T.V.

Gene had to go check water then they ate & Gene Ray & Dean went to Priesthood I read paper in bed & sunday school lesson & worked on cross word puzzle

Jackie & Dale had a bath & I got up & washed Jackies hair & a batch of cloths & hung out.

I had a shower & got ready & Gene came & took us to sunday school, I had to give a part in lesson.  We came home & Ray went to see about Tupper Ware & I fixed dinner & we ate.

Dean & Dale did dishes & Gene had nap

I laid down with Sis but she never did go to sleep.

Jerry went to work 11: to 5:

Ray came home & made out his weeks order & took it up on his way to work 5: to close, rode with Gene when he went to change water.

Jerry, Gene, Dean & Dale went to church.  I watched T.V.

Jerry & Dean came home from Scout C.

Ivard went back to Twin Falls.

I cooked waffles & we ate.  Gene had gone to work.

Lyle came (and family) for about hr. and took Stanley home.

I fixed Ivards lunch after we went uptown & got his 2 pr. shoes & Genes from shoe maker and he left for Twin Falls at noon, then in about 15 min. he came back & we had to hunt his switch Key.  He was really late.  Gene came home for lunch

Jerry got home about 5:15 & Gene and we ate
came early & we ate then Gene took Jerry to work at 6: to Close & brought Ray home, I took him up at 9:30.  They went over to Yorgensens & got Dean from Scout Camp.

Gene & Ray went to Rodeo.  Ray had his Tupper Ware party cancel so I'll sign for it & buy a few things so he won't loose out.

Kids went to bed early.  I watched T.V until 1:15 AM, thats when Gene & Ray got home from Gails.

Jerry never got home until about 2: A.M.

Friday, July 19, 1963

Gene went to work & we ate and Ivard hoed garden & watered it.

I took Ray up to work 10: to 6: then I made 14 pts apricot, pineapple jam Ivard thinned our beets out & washed them & picked biggest beets.  I bottled 5 pts whole beets & fixed a bowl for supper & a big mess of tiny beets & greens for dinner tomorrow & I put 3 pkgs of greens in freezer.

Gene came home for lunch & took Dale & Stanley out with him all afternoon

I got ready & Ivard took me to Caldwell & I put $200. in Savings for Gene & went out to Simplots & turned in an Ins. claim. stoped at Dobbs & pd. Genes $37.15 repair bill on pick-up, had fixed last week, and tried out a car, 55 plymouth.  Drove down to show Ray but he didn't want.  took it back & came home & Ivard fried hambergers out on barbacue & we ate on lawn then Ivard and I, Gene, Ray, Dale & Stanley went up to Gails awhile & brought Jackie home.  Watered lawn, Ivard was up late changeing water.

Thursday, July 18, 1963

Jackie stayed to Gails all nite

I got up & run juice apricots through calander and bottled 14 qts juice and Dale & Stanley ground jam ones & I put them back in Fridge to do Tomorrow.

Washed some cloths.

Ivard picked berries & I did 3 qts raspberries & 4 qts black berries.

Ivard went up & got his check & I figured it out and at 1:30 I had a shower & got ready & we went up & I signed up for unemployment then we went to bank & paid our bills & got $30. of groc.  Gene gave me $10. for groc.  Ivard had hair cut while I was doing fruit.

Gene came home at 6: & cleaned up & we had supper & we all went up to Gails & watched parade it turned at his corner.  We came home about 10:30.  Jackie stayed all nite.

Rays Tupper party for tonite canceled, until next week.

Wednesday, July 17, 1963

Stanley came for few days

cooler & good breeze.

Gene forgot to wake up. got up at 7:30 & fixed his lunch & he went to work at 8:

Ray cleaned up garage a little for his tupper Ware order, had a bath & went to work 10: to 6:

Dale rode his bike out to Hurrens to Piano lesson at 9:45.

I called Ivard at 8:, he didn't get the car for Ray, gone when he got back.

Washed a batch of cloths & cleaned up. crocheted.

Ray called at noon & said he had bought 3 bags apricots for $9: so I washed bottles & Mrs. Banner brought them about 3: I sent Dale to store on bike for lids, pineapple ect. then Ray had him go up to Dairy q. & get 20 lbs sugar.

I bottled 49 qts & put a roaster full in ice box all washed ready to grind for jam & cooked rest for juice to do in morning.  It was about 11:30 when I got done, after Ivard came home from Twin Falls

Dale went to Primary in afternoon & at 6:30 Gene, Ray & Dale went to Rosewell for Tupper Ware Party.  brought Stanley home with them

I got up & got Gene off to work & crocheted until Kids got up.

Ray picked 5 cups raspberries on ours & Dale went & picked 2 off Mrs Leny's & I bottled 7 qts.

Read & croched most of afternoon laid down awhile with Jackie.

Ray worked 10: to 6:

Dale scrubbed & waxed Kitchen and went to Garners to play all afternoon.

I got supper & we ate at 6:30.  Gene was home early.

Ray borrowed Mrs Howards car & went to his Tupper Ware Party

Gene bathed & cleaned up & we watched T.V.

I tried to call Ivard but couldn't get ahold of him.

Went to bed at 11: when Ray got home, had good party.

Gene went to work & I read paper & crocheted awhile.

I changed my bed & washed cloths all day.

Dale cleaned his bed room real good & I helped him make all three beds then I cleaned my room & Dale helped me make my bed.

got cloths in & put away.

Ray worked didn't work today, day off.  He went on business, borrowed Mrs. Howards car, her girls, he had a Tupper ware Party in afternoon.  He came home & worked on his reports then had another party tonite.  did good on both of them.

We ate & I crocheted & we watched T.V.

Gail came & called his order in to work.

Seems funny with such a few of us home.

Sunday, July 14, 1963

Jerry went to Scout Camp for week to tend Kids.

Cloudy most of day- breeze.

I woke up late to read paper in bed.

Gene got up & went out & changed water then he & Jerry went to Priesthood.  He brought Jerry home at 11:30 & went back to sunday school.  Jackie wasn't ready so she stayed home.

I had to iorn Jerry some stuff for Scout Camp & Ray a shirt for church & when I got started at 11: I never quit until 4: & I still have a basket full.  I washed a batch of pants & iorned them & 2 electric blankets.

Gail came about 10:30 & when Jerry came he took him up to D.q. & got me a big drink & 5 loafes of bread then he came back & Jerry packed & left for Camp Billy Rice at noon to tend Scouts all week.  Alice & Mary Kay took him up.  Gail left at 12:15 & took Jackie.  Gene came home at 1:45 & went up to Gails.  I was alone all day.  Ray worked 11: to 5:

Ray went to church, had to give talk, & fireside after.  Gene came about 10:, Gail followed him & brought Jackie, used phone.

Dean went to Camp Billy Rice for week

Ivard went back to Twin Falls.

We changed all the beds & I washed cloths all day didn't get any beds made

Dean & Jerry spent all morning getting ready to go to Scout Camp.  We went up to Gails & borrowed sleeping bags Dean went at 1:

Jerry went to work 11: to 6: Ray went 9:30 to 6:

Ivard worked in garden & watched ball game, wouldn't even stop & talk to me left for Twin F. without even saying goodbye or gettiny any money.  Had 5.  Gene gave him for helping him other nite & 30. Ray gave him to see about a car down there.  He didn't even see about coming back to Nampa, said he didn't want to come back.  He left at noon.

Jerry & Ray came at 6:30, Ray had called a taxi & gone up to Dobbs & got pick-up they had fixed.  brought Jackie & I a hamberger & drink for our supper.  They got ready & went up to Alice's house where Jerry had a TUper Ware Party.  Had $100. party with my $11. order I gave him.  They had a party after & went to wedding reception.  Jerry got home about 1:30.  I called Alices at 2:45 & Ray came right home.

Gene came home & ate & cleaned up & we watched T.V.  Lyle didn't bring Dale home.

Dale went home with Lyle for few days

I got up & washed some cloths.  Gene went to work at 7:

At 9: I took Ivard & Jackie over to farm to burn thistle out of grain.  He called about 10:30 & said he'd run out of gas so I got ready & took him some & got Jackie & we went to Caldwell & put money in Savings accounts for Jackie _ Dale _ Dean & my dime one.  Jackie had gone without her breakfast & was starving so we stoped at quickie Kurb in Caldwell & had hambergers, drink & fries.  then we went back to farm & I crocheted until Ivard was done at 2: & came home stoped at Gails but no one home.

I iorned awhile & Ivard took Pick-up up to Dobbs to be fixed.  I went after him at 3:30 & we drove out to Meridian & Kuna & finally found Carl Jensen but couldn't get any money_ he owes us for cows.  Came home at 6:30 & Jerry had supper ready & was to work.  Lyle, Barbara & Kids were here.  They left right after & took Dale for few days.  We ate & Ray went to Tupper Party I don't feel good.  laid of again went to bed early.

Ray was 18 today.

Gene went to work early.

I came home from work & went to bed until 1:

Jerry took Ivard out to farm to work & got me up at 1:30 & I got ready & he & I went up town & I signed up for unemployment & we went to Safeway & Albertsons & got $38. worth of groc.

Ray worked 10: to 6: & Jerry 6: to close

I took Dean & Dale out to Wally's & got their money Dean 34.50 (75¢ hr) & Dale 18.50 (50¢ hr) We went up town & they each got pr. sunday shoes & pr. gym shoes & Dean got pr. pants

Came home & got supper on & went after Ivard & came home & ate Rays birthday supper, he wanted porkie-pine-babies & I bought a cake & icecream.  He left right after for Tupper Ware Party in Middleton.  Came home & went miniture bowling

I watched t.V. Gail & Lynda came until 9: Ivard ate & I took him over to Wallys place by bowling alley & he cultivated until dark I dont feel good  & no rest, I laid off tonite.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed at 9:30 & Jackie woke me up at 3:30.

Dean didn't work today.  Him & Dale rode bikes out to Hurrens at 10: for their piano lesson.

The Pick-up is broke so Wally had to come & get Gene for work, he came home for lunch, had Wallys truck.

Jerry tended Kids and worked in flowers & washed a batch of cloths He went to work 6: to CLose.  Ray worked 10: to 6:

Dean did yesterdays dishes & todays at 4:.  He went to work for hr with Gene. practiced Piano & wrote to Kay

I got up at 3:30 & worked on my books and wrote Kay a 8 page letter to Put in with Deans.

Ray came home at 6: & called a taxi & went up to Gails & borrowed his car & went to Rosewell & gave Barbra's Tupper Party.

I went to bed until 10:30 & got ready for work.  Ivard got home from Twin Falls just before I left.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed, I was dead.  Kids were still asleep never woke up till 10:30, Jerry, Jackie & Dale.  Gene & Dean had gone to work early.

Ray went to work 10: to 6:

Jerry tended Kids.  Dale made cookies & had Garner Kids here all day.  Jerry did dishes & iorned his shirts & had supper ready when I got up at 5:30.  He had gone to work, 6: to close.

We ate supper, Dale, Jackie & I then Ray Came & ate.  Dean got home about 8: & ate & cleaned up & Gene came awhile later then he had to go change water after dark & took Ray with him.

I went back to bed at 7:30, never did get to sleep.

Monday, July 8, 1963

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed.

Gene & Dean were to work.

Rays day off & he had gone to Boise to a Tupper Ware meeting He came home at 2:30, just as I got Jackie to sleep, with Evelyn & her Kids they came charging around house screeching like a heard of monkeys & woke Jackie up then one Kid pulled water shut off out of socket & one messed his pants & she washed it out in basin & plugged it up & stunk the house up.  I was so mad I could have died of all the gall for a complete stranger.

Dale & Jackie woke me up at 12:30 fighting over their lunch Dale had gone up to D.q & Jerry gave him.  I washed 3 batches of cloths & cleaned house up & cooked supper.  All the sleep I got today was from 9: till 12:30.

Jerry came & Gene & Dean & we ate supper.

Ray & Dean went to Mutual with Perrys Gene had to go change water.  Jerry tended Kids & watched T.V. Gail came awhile.  I went back to bed but couldnt sleep.  Went to work at 11:15.

I woke up at 2:45 & ate dinner with them & got books up.  I came home from work at 8:30 & went to bed & read paper & went to sleep I was dead.

Jerry had to go to work 5: till close

Gail came a few min. & used phone I went back to bed at 5: and never got up until 10:30.  got ready & went to work.

Dean made cookies for their lunch tonite.

Gail moved back to Nampa

hot.  Dean worked all day.

I came home from work & Gene had taken Ivard & Dale out to Banners on his way to work.  They picked cherries for half.  I took Ray to work at 9:30 & went out & got them then we went up & got 25 lbs sugar Jerry had a few bottles washed.

He went to work at 11: to 6:

I laid down for hr. but didn't go to sleep Ivard took off without any money so I called Don Boren & he came back & I gave him $13., all I had.  He left for Twin Falls at 12:30.


I bottled cherries all afternoon I got through at 6:30 did 44 qts. I was so tired I could hardly stand it.  Jerry & Ray came home & Jerry left, for Boise to Pagent.  Ray went up & got space bergers & drinks for supper then he & Gene went up & helped Gail, they moved back to Nampa today.

I went to bed at 7:30 till 10:10 then got up & got ready & went to work.  Gene & Ray got home just before I left.

I went back to work at Simplots - got letter from Kay

Gene got up early & went to work came home for dinner.

Ivard got his check (R.R) & we went & paid place & bills.

Dean didn't work today.

Ray went to work 10 to 6: Jerry 6: to close.

I crocheted & laid around

Ivard watered & fixed fence & cut lawn & we flooded it.

We made chicken & noodles for supper.

Ray had a tupper Ware Party tonite

Gail & Lynda came about 6: & left Kids awhile & they went looking for a house to rent.

I went to bed at 7:30 & got up at 10:30 & got ready & went back to work at Simplots.  I drove alone.

Ivard & Kids watched T.V. Debbie went home with Gail tonite.

Gene had to go change water at dark, he went with Gail looking at houses.

Gene got up & went out & changed water & Jerry went over to Stake House at 8: & went with M. Men Gleaner all day up to High Valley.

I took Ray up to work-9:30 to 6:

Lyle caled & wanted us to come over so I fried 2 chickens & took punch stuff & potatoe chips & pork & beans & Ivard & I_ Gene, Dean, Dale, & Jackie went over to Lyles at noon, Gail & Lynda were there too.  We ate out on lawn & had watermellon after.  Ivard & them played basketball & we played Penochle.

Debbie came home with us & stayed all nite, we came home at 8: & Gene went & changed water & Ivard & I took Ray_ Dean, Jackie & Debbie & went to Caldwell to Fireworks.  Dale stayed to Lyles & they brought him home after fireworks.

We came home about 10:30 & got Kids to bed & Ivard changed water & we rode up to D.q. & had a drink

Gene was home & in bed when we got home from fire works.

Jerry got home from mountains & went to work 6: to close.

Wednesday, July 3, 1963

hot.  breeze felt cool in shade

Gene got me up at 6: & I fixed his lunch & he went to work.  Dean & Dale didn't go today.  They rode their bikes out to Hurrens at 10: for Piano lesson.

I crocheted, washed Dales hair & washed 3 batches of cloths, did curtains.

Kids came home & Dean rode up & had hair cut & Jerry did dishes & rode up walked up town to buy some pants.

Dean scrubbed & waxed floors & we moved furniture all around.  Jackie & I washed windows & woodwork & I got clean curtains up.

I'm sick today.

Ray worked 10: to 6: Jerry went 6: to close.

Ray had a Tupper Ware Party at Alices tonite.

I watched T.V. awhile & went to bed Ivard got home from Twin Falls about 11:30.

I got called back to Simplots for Friday nite.

Tuesday, July 2, 1963

Hot, but breeze

I got up at 6: & fixed lunch & Gene & Dean went to work.  Kept Dale home today.  I read paper & crocheted & washed 3 batches of cloths.

Jerry walked up town to bank & cashed his check.

Dale rode bike up & had hair cut & went to D.q & brought us home a drink I paid for & Ray sent us a taco for our lunch

Jerry came home & iorned his shirts & defrosted freezer drawer & started it.  I cleaned up house & Dale did dishes.

I had shower & at 2:10 Venice came & got me & we went & signed up for unemployment & went to store.  I got $23. worth of groc. came home at 3:30 & crocheted.  Jackie had nap

Jerry went to work at D.q. 6: to Close & Ray came home & messed around.

We had snack supper & every ate different.  I ate with Jerry & Jackie woke up & ate when Ray came.  Dale ate at 6:30 when he came home from Garners.  Gene & Dean ate when tehy got home from work at 7:30

Ray & I went up to D.q at 9: & sat for an hr., had taco & 2 drinks.  Came home & went to bed, Kids watched T.V. till 1:

Monday, July 1, 1963

Ray had his first tupper ware party - 3 today

I woke up at 4: & couldn't go back to sleep, terrible cramps.  got up at 6: & fixed lunches & Kids went to work Ray took them so he could use Pick-up, his day off.  He went to Caldwell & got all our Int. drawn up & drew all his money out.  came back & got his tupper ware & went & had his first Party at 2 10: Came home at 12: & got me & Sis & we went out around lake toward Marshing & he got a car for 135.  from Kid he knew.  He was going to pay cash but I told him to waite & see if he wanted it, one door is sprung back wheel grabs, wipers don't work, isnt too bad looking.  Its set all winter.

I drove pick up back out to Gene & Gene had to start car for Ray.  I sat in it while Ray took Pick up in sage brush to Gene.  We brought Dale home it was 2: & Ray was supposed to have his 2nd Party at 2: he hurried out to Wilsons.

Lyle stoped in a min. on way home from Boise

I changed every bed & washed up.  Ray helped make my & his bed & Jerry & Dean made rest.

Ray went to his third Party at 7: in the three he sold over $100.  got his case & samples pd. for.

Jerry & Gene took Dean to Mutual.
