I came home from work froze to death & Ivard was home & in bed, Jerry went up to train & got him at 7: I went right to bed & got warmed up. Jerry took Jackie to school on his way to his 1st day at Nampa floral.
We got up at 10:30 & went up & got Genes money & paid bills & Ivard left for G.F. on noon train. Ray & I went to Smilies & had lunch & I bought 4 chest of drawers at new Top furn. sale.
Ray went to unemployment & they sent him out to Carnation Can for interview came home & washed 2 batches cloths & Ray did one & I went to bed at 3: & Ray made cookies & got supper. I got up & ate & washed 2 more batches at 5:20. Dale went collecting after school.

Ivard to home at 1:10 AM. & left again at noon.
Cloudy - rainy - few snow flakes Jerry & Dale went on their paper routes & just got home & had to go back up & get Ray at depot.
Jerry - Dean & Dale went to Conference all day. Jerry called at noon & said they'd voted on Ray to be an Elder so he hurried & got ready & went to afternoon session
Jackie & I painted most of day. Ray made cake this mroning then Ivard & I & Ray played 2 games of Scrabble, Jackie & I took Ivard up to catch train at noon for G.F.
President Lee ordained Ray an Elder.
Kids came home at 4:30 & we ate & Jackie did dishes.
I went to bed at 6: until time to go to work. Betty & Nancy came awhile.

Jerry & Dean left at 2: & went to Boise to "Sound of Music" 3rd time & "My Fair Lady," 2nd time. It was midnite when they got home.
Dale & I played games awhile & Jackie went to neighbors.
Jerry took Dale getting starts this morning while Dean was at Stake House practicing to sing in conference. & we ate when they got home & Jerry fixed it.
We watched T.V & Dale & Jackie went to bed at 9: & I stayed up until it went off air. just got in bed at 1:10 & Ivard called & I got up & went & got him.

Sunny & cloudy. I came home from work, we get 2 nites off. I read paper & went to bed couple of hrs & got up & Jerry & I went up town & put some money & both our checking accounts. Came home & painted all afternoon Jerry fixed supper & Dean cleaned play room & I got set up for my Paint Party but no one ever showed up or called. Mrs. Blanch, Mary Ann & Carma were supposed to come at 7:30.
I washed some cloths & we had fire in fire place & watched T.V. & we all went to bed at 9:30.

Kids went to Piano L. early and went to Mutual Nampa 2nd & 5th combined a musical programe. Dean played a Medlay from Sound of Music on organ. They took Jackie & I went to bed. I feel awful. Ivard called at 8: & I got hp & went & got him & he laid me off. We went back to bed. I was takeing chills.

foggy this morning, roads were like glass, took me a hr. to come home from woek. Sunny most of day & roads dried off Pretty good. We still have our snow on ground. I came home & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. Paint class was called off for slick roads.
I woke up at 3: when Phone rang. I lifted it up just in time to hear father tell Jerry goodbye. I got up & washed a batch of cloths & made jello & shrimp chow Mein & we ate when Kids got home. Dale did dishes & Jerry took him to get starts, got one.
I finished my iorning & went to bed at 7:30 until time to go to work. Kids had fire in fire Place & watched T.V.

I came home from work, froze to death, & hurried & got ready & went up to Nampa Grange Hall at 10: to quarterly district tri-chem meeting, They hadn't heated hall & we about froze to death, just getting warm when we left.
Had good meeting & display & they served us a ham dinner for $1.55 came home at 3:10.
Ivard had just got home & in bed when I came from work & when I came from meeting he was up calling R.R. he came home & hurried & ate, we were eating, & drove to Glenns F., first out. I went to bed at 6: & Kids went to Piano L went to work at 11:

S. shoes, 3 pr. dress socks, pr levies & velvet shirt for his birthday & got Jackie a new while pile lined rain coat & laid away some sheets. Ivard went to R.R. & we went to Gails a little while then came home & Ivard watched game while I got lunch & Dale did dishes & we all played Scrabble. When Kids came from school Jerry & I dashed to store & got few things & came home & had Dales birthday supper. He had Paul Butler here. We were just starting on desert, icecream & Cake when Ivard called at 5:40 so I dashed up & got him & his check & we went to bank & Pd place & came home & he ate & at 7:30 we went up & Paid R.R. Credit Union loan Came home & played Scrabble & went to bed early. Dean went to H.S. ball game.

I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. I didn't feel good so I didn't go to Relief Society.
I woke up at 3: & got up & helped Jerry get supper.
Ivard & Jackie did dishes & Jerry, Dean & Dale left for Mutual at 6: so Dean could practice Organ. & Jerry took Dale to collect for paper.
I went to bed until time to go to work & Ivard watched T.V.
Warm & sunny all day snowed a little early this morning. I came home from work & Jerry went to sign up for unemployment

Ray called
Sunny & warm.
I came home from work & ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30 & got up at 2:30 when Ivard called & woke me up on his way to Huntington
Jerry did genelogy all day he put roast on & I put potatoes under it & made a banna pudding for supper & fixed yams. I washed a batch of cloths & put them away & painted awhile.
When Dale got home Jerry took him to collect & we ate when they got home at 6: washed my hair
Jackie had friends in after school & they made bugs, Hill Kids.
Went to bed until time to go to work.

Jerry & Dale got up at 4:A & delivered their papers.
Ivard, Jerry, Dean & Dale went to priesthood & Ivard came home & took Jackie to S.S., she had to give 2 1/2 min. talk I read paper, washed 3 batches of cloths & patched & painted when they came home Jerry fixed dinner. Tim Hoff was here all day. We ate & Jerry & Dean went to Stake House & Jackie started dishes & I finished them & Ivard took Dale, Tim & Jackie to Titheing Settlement. Ivard made a fire in fireplace & we played Scrabble at 5: We watched Wizzard of Ozz. Kids left for church at 7: & I went to bed. Ivard had bath & went & cought Train at 8: & Kids brought car home.

Ivard came home from G.F for couple of days - Got 748 lbs meat.
went to "My Fair Lady."
Cloudy & Black - WIndy - rained a little.
I woke up at 6: AM & Dale was already gone on his paper route. I got up & changed My & his bed & washed 4 batches of cloths & painted. At 8: Ivard called, came in on 11. I went & got him & got breakfast then Ivard went over to Hills & got our meat we had done, killed our 2 heifers 748 lbs. We cleaned out freezer & arranged it in cuts. Dean, Jerry & Jackie cleaned up House & Ivard helped me make my bed & Ivard took Dale collecting & at 11:40 we all went to Boise. Jerry took us to "My Fair Lady" $2. a seat. Came home at 5: & got supper & Jerry went & got some groc. & we ate at 6:

warm & Sunny today. We got weekend off. I came home from work & read paper & ate & went to bed at 9:30 & Jerry woke me up at 12:30 to pay milk man. I got up & made jello salad for tomorrow and washed a batch of cloths & painted all afternoon.
Jerry fixed supper & we ate as soon as Kids came from school & Jerry took Dale to collect & He went up town. Came home at 7: & we counted up Dales money & he & I & Jackie went to bed at 7:30 & Jerry & Dean went over to McDonalds to copy some genelogy on our line she has.

Ivard was home hr.
started to rain when we left work & rained most all day. I came home & read paper & ate & was just going to bed when Ivard called so Jerry went & got him & he stayed a hr. He ate & we played 1 game Scrabble & Jerry took him back up to R.R. to go on to Huntington first day he's worked in 1966

Had letter from mother
40 ° when I came from work & raining - rained on & off all nite & most of today.
I stoped & signed for my unemployment & came home & went streight to bed at 9: I woke up at 3:30 & got up & read papers.
Jerry had supper ready & we ate when Kids got home from school.
Jackie did dishes & at 6:20 Dean & Dale went to Piano L.

I laid down for hr & Jerry went to sign up for unemployment & forgot to get me up & I missed relief Society. Ivard was still asleep & he woke up at 10:30 & woke me up so I got up & we rode up to R.R. & bought finger Stakes & onion rings for lunch & brought Jerry some & we ate when we got home. I washed 3 batches & finished painting my 1966 bird calendar & got supper - Jerry made cake. Dean got hair cut & Jerry went & got him & we ate. Kids left at 6: for Mutual & Ivard & Sis did dishes. I went to bed at 6:15 Ivard went on 8:30 train

Ivard didn't work today
still windy but it warmed up 43 ° when I went to work & when I came home again, only 31 ° yesterday afternoon.
I came home from work & Jerry took Dale & Jackie to school & I read paper. I went to bed at 9: Ivard was still in bed when I woke up at 11:30 so we got up & I worked on my books and we went up town at 2:15 to bank & paid bills then we went to Castagneto's agency to see about our new Ins.
Came home & Jerry had supper ready, bit Kettle of chilli, & we ate when Kids got home I went to bed until time to go to work & Ivard watched T.V. Dean had to go up town & school business & they took Dale to collect. I went to work at 11:

I got up & started dinner & Ray, Jackie & I went to Sunday S & Sacrament meeting. We just walked in door at 1:15 when Lynda called, they were broke down half way between Boise & Mountain H. took Gail to Glenns F., her & Kids. We couldn't find them & went back to Boise & got gas & found them at Grants truck stop & went back out 11 miles on freeway & towed them home. it was 5: when we got home. Kids had supper ready. I patched & washed some cloths & went to bed at 6:30 & Ivard too. We went back to work after 10 days off. Kids took Ray to train at 8:

Jerry, Dean & Jackie went on Dales paper route & came home & went back to bed. At 8:30 Dale called for some one to come & get him at his paper managers, they were just leaving when Ivard called to come & get him so Jerry & Dean went & got them & came home & Jerry got breakfast & Ivard came to bed with me, I have such a cold. I got up & painted & made jello salad & a cake.
