hot. got cloudy this afternoon

Ivard said he'd be home to get check but he didn't come.

Jerry & Rays day off. and they chased all day. Jerry took Dean & Jackie out to Hurrens for Piano lesson. I was supposed to go to relief society but they had car. Dale went out on bike & had his lesson

I crocheted most of day.

Kids came about 4: & Jerry fixed supper & we ate & they cleaned up.

at 7: Ray had a Sara Coventry Party out on lawn & had a $45. party after Jerry & Ray went & had Pizza with Pat & Betty

Dean went to Mutual but Dale didn't. I watched cast show on T.V. & Kids came home & went to bed.

sent letter & Money to Gene _ sent Kay letter Took Kristine to hospital with Phnemonia

cloudy & sunny - got real stormy this evening but didn't storm. I never woke up until 9:15 then I read paper in bed.

got up & washed a batch of cloths Jerry got home at 1: for his half day off & brought us a hamberger, fries & drink for our lunch. He cleaned out his closet getting ready to move I wrote to Gene & Jerry & Kids went up town & got cashiers check for me & put in Genes letter & mailed it. I wrote to Kay and Jerry mailed it when they went to M_ Men.

We ate at 5: & Dean did dishes

Gail & Lynda came at 8:00, they'd just left Kristine at hospital with temp. of 106°, Phnemonia. They went home at 9:

Watched T.V. went to bed.

Sunday, June 28, 1964

Sunny but cold wind. I read paper in bed. Dean got up & took Jerry to work at Safeway at 7: Ivard got up & took Dean & Dale over to Stake conference then read paper, had bath & watched ball game. Didn't even have time to talk to me. I took him up to catch train for Glenns Ferry at 11:45, me & Sis.

I took Ray up to open up D.q. at 10: & got my books up.

After Ivard left we went over to Stake house & got Dean & Dale & went to Dairy queen & had lunch then we took Dean back to conference & we came home. at 4: we went & got Dean & went up to Safeway & waited until 4:30 for Jerry. Came home & watched Disneyland then Jerry_ Ray Dean & Dale went to evening conference & Jerry & Ray went to M_ Men conf fireside after Kids came home with Edith.  I watched T.V. until it went off the air.

Cold & windy_ sunny.

When I woke up at 10:30 Dean had taken Jerry & Ray to work & Lynda had come & taken him up to tend Kids from 10: to 5: Dale got up at 7: & went up & met Gail & went on route with him then they brought him to D.q. & he cleaned yard & walked home at 7:

I crocheted most of day & showed Jackie how & to embroidery. got burlap strips measured & cut for 7 perses I'm going to make.

got supper ready & went & got Jerry at 5: & we ate.

Jerry was supposed to work at D. q. but Ray got some one else to work for him & he had date with Wilma They went to Stake dance & to Boise after. got home at 2:15 A.M. Ivard got here about 1:45. Cought ride home changed jobs & now has Wed. & Thursd off. I was up until 1:10 A.M.

I never got up until 11: A.M, noon after I read paper & got diary up I feel a little better today.

Dean took Jerry to work & went up street & mowed guys lawn

Rays day off. He didn't get up until 11:15 & had bath

Lyle brought Dale home at 11: Dean took Ray up town & they went up to Gails brought Jerry home at 5:30. I had supper ready & we ate & Ray went to work 6: to close Jerry had to go work 8: to 10: after he went to wedding reception.

Relief Society teachers came & Mrs Blades for her T upper Ware

I played games with Kids

watched T.V. until it went off air. crocheted.

I read paper in bed & got up at 9: after Dean got back from takeing Jerry to work. He took Ray up at 9:30.

I feel awful today. I took Jackie to Primary & sat & crocheted while I waited. got some webbing from J. Carroll to make perses. came home & had lunch & washed a batch of cloths just sat around & crocheted. Dean Dale & Jackie & I played one game of Scrabble Dean fixed supper & we ate after I went up to D.q & got Ray & Jerry. Jerry walked to there.

Kids went & got my Tupper ware Party orders.

Lyle came & took Dale to help hoe his garden & he stayed all nite We all went to bed at 10:

Jerry got letter from Gene

100° today, unofficial Thunder storm & rained tonite

Dean took Kids to work I got up & washed couple of batches of cloths after I washed my hair & finished my iorning

I had a bath & at 2:30 Dale & I went up & I signed for unemployment then we went up & got some yarn to make 4 perses then got $12. worth of groc. & came home.

Cooked supper & We ate out on lawn after I went & got Jerry & Ray from work.

Lyle came & got Dean to tend Kids, brought him home at 11:

Jerry & Ray went to Sara Coventry Party with bunch of girls.

Jackie & I took Dale over to Stake house for Physical to go to Scout C. but he didn't get it, Don Yargson forgot to give them their slips. It really rained on us for awhile

Ivard left for Glenns Ferry at 5:30 A.M to work at 8:, hes on days now.

Jerrys day off today. Rays day off but he had to work for Edith.

Dale came home from Garners & rode his bike out to Piano lesson then went up to D.q & helped Mr. Johnson for 2 or 3 hrs.

Dean drove him & Sis out to Piano lesson.

Jerry got up late & went up town on business after Kids got home from lesson

I iorned all afternoon.

We ate on lawn, Jerry fixed supper.

Jerry & Ray Took Kids to Mutual & went Apt. hunting for Jerry, got one on 12th across from Kenwood move in July 6th

Monday, June 22, 1964

Dean got up & took Jerry to work & Ray and Ivard got up & went & got gas & mowed yard, ditch banks & all.

We cahnged all the beds & I washed cloths all day.

Dean went to store & got groc. & made cookies all day.

Jackie & I went & got Jerry at noon, his half day off, & she got a few groc. Jerry bought a ham all sliced & ready to bake so I cooked it for supper & we ate after I got Kids from D. q. at 6: Jerry worked this afternoon for Edith. Ivard Cooked hamberger on barbacue for lunch, ate on lawn We went up to wards warhouse sale & got screen door & chest of drawers. Ivard run over a pile of screen doors & broke them damaged anyway Ray & Jerry went to M. Men Gleaners. Dale slept at Garner's on lawn & Ivard & I & Sis went up to Lyles & played cards.

Dean took Jerry to work at Safeway at 7: AM. then he took Ray & Dale & went to Priesthood brought Ray back to Open up D.q at 10: to 5:. Sis didn't get ready so Dean went to S.S. without her.

Ivard got home at 9:45, changed jobs & is working days with Sun. & Mon. off now. wasn't expecting him until Tomorrow. He watched ball game & I got books up

Ivard went to bed couple of hrs & we ate & gave him his Presents at 5:30, after I went H got Kids from work

We all went to Sacrament meeting & Ray & Jerry went to Fireside after.  We got a new Bishop Eldon Yorgensen. with 1st Co. Doug Pallison & 2nd Don Slurf.

Ivard got Father day pkg & note from Kay

nice until this afternoon then it rained again-cool

Gail called up & wanted Dale to meet him & go on route then he tended Kids & never got home until 12:45 A.M.

Jackie did dishes & we cleaned up & I washed 4 batches of cloths, had to finish drying them in dryer.

Jerry came home for lunch

I had pain in side & crocheted most of day.

Ray worked 9:30 to 6:

I had supper ready when Jerry got home & we ate & took him to work at D. q. 6: to close, I went & got him at 11:30. brought Ray home & he ate & bathed & got ready & I took him up to Pat's to go to Boise to Dance with them. Dean was home when I got back. watched T.V. went to store at 8:30. Lyle came min.

Dean went to Park for Trial Valley F campree.

Sunny this morning cloudy this afternoon. Finished getting Dean packed & after Jerry came home & we had lunch we took Jerry back to work & took Dean to Lakeview Park to trial Camporee for Valley Forge, stayed all night Dale went up to Lyles & weeded garden & tended Kids in afternoon while Jackie & I took Barbra up town Father day shopping. After we took Dean we took Ray to Stake House to get Mr. Johnson's ice can then took it back & took Ray home & Jackie & I went to Caldwell & got my Vacation check $74. came home at 2:45 & took Ray to work at D.q. 3: to close, wasn't supposed to go until 6: but Norma had to go home took Barbra & went to Safeway & got Jerry & groc & took B. home then we came home & Jerry & I, Dale & Jackie went up to D.q. & had supper Jerry had to go back to meeting at Safeway at 9: P. M.

Stormy _ raind hard toward evening. Dean took Jerry to work then came home & took Ray to work on his way to take sister to Primary, he sat & waited for her.

Dale scrubbed & waxed bathroom & cleaned up while they were gone.

I crocheted till Dean got back & we spent the rest of day getting Deans Valley Forge things marked & packed.

Fixed supper & went & got Jerry at 5: & we ate & Dean did dishes. We left Dale & Jackie home alone & Jerry & Dean went home teaching after they droped us off at Ediths for her Stanley Party. Jerry & Dean came back to it. We came home about 9:30 & Jerry & Ray went up to Evelyn Elinores few min about Tupper W

Sunny & cold wind. got real cloudy in P.M

Ivard took Jerry to work & ate then took Ray up to D. q. at 9:30 then He took Dean & Jackie & went over to finish cleaning the house for Wards manager had to do basement Dale went up & cleaned D.q. yard. They found out they didn't have to when they got there. earned $20. yesterday afternoon. Spent all day getting Diary up. I went up & signed for unemployment Dean & Jackie went with me. Came home & read a story. Jerry got off at noon & worked on his books & him & Ivard had nap. Dean fixed lunch. Dale made batch of cookies & went over to Garners to play awhile.

We had supper Jerry & Dean went up & got Deans Scout uniforms & at 8: we all went up & took Ivard to catch train for G.F. for week. stoped at S. Mortuary & Jerry & Ray went with Murrys to see Harris Family at Melba.

Tuesday, June 16, 1964

Ray had Tupper Ware Party

cloudy_ cold & Rainy. We got up late. Jerry & Rays day off. We read paper in bed & got up & ate & at 9:45 Jerry took Dean, Dale & Jackie out to Hurren's for their Piano lesson & he went up Town on business then picked Kids up & came home at noon.

Lyle called & told them if they wanted to clean a house the new Ward's manager is going to move into they could earn about $20. so at noon Ivard, Dean Dale & Jackie went over, Jerry took them & worked until 5: & got all the main floor done. Jerry & Ray went gadding all afternoon. When they all got home Jerry fixed supper.

I washed 4 batches of cloths & got put away & cleaned for party tonite at 7:30 Ray had Tupper Ware Party. Dean went to Mutual, after party Ray & Jerry went & had Pizza with Pat & Betty We went to bed at 10:45.

Monday, June 15, 1964

Came home from Reunion.

Cloudy & breezy_ rained hard all evening. Ivard got off work early & we left Glenns Ferry for home at 6:30 in De Soto, left Dodge there. We stoped at Mountain h at El Rancho & had breakfast stoped at R.R. & got Ivards check & went up to see if Jerry had Key at Safeway got home at 9:20 A.M & took Ray to work at D.q.

Ivard went to bed & I worked on books & figured out payments & got some ready to mail. I went & got Jerry at 12:, has afternoon off. At 2: got Ivard up & we took Jerry up to Dr. Weisshe about his warts & we went to bank & paid bills Picked Jerry up at Wards at 4: & came home & I fixed supper & we ate at 5:30 then Ray came at 6: & ate & Dean did dishes & Jerry & Ray went to M. Men & Gleaners. We went to bed at 8: I was dead.

Went to Lava Hot Springs to Family Reunion

Cloudy_ sunny_ breezy rained hard all afternoon.

We woke up 3:15 & finished going to Lava, got there at 5:30 & sat at Park & went through Sunker Gardens & walked up hill & saw water Fall. We ate breakfast at 7:30 A.M in Park. It was about 9:45 before we saw any one. Gail got here last nite. We went up to other Park & they played ball & we had programme & meeting then at 12:30 went up to Park where tables were & had dinner then Kids went in Swimming & we visited at 4: we left for home & it really rained hard on us from Portniff Country clear to Wendell. We got to Glenns Ferry at 8:30 & went to Park & just got our supper spread out when it started to Rain again got wet time we were through. We went up to Switching Shanty & Dean went to bed in back seat of Dodge & Dale in front Seat. we went to Drug Store & had drink then Jackie went to bed in back seat of Desoto & Me in front & Ivard slept in Shanty until midnite then he went to work. I about died in front seat.

We left for Lava Hot springs for Family Reunion

Ivard laid off work 1 nite

Sunny and warm. Ivard got a ride home with some guy so we decided to go to Family Reunion. He watched ball game all morning then went to bed. I washed some cloths & put a rolled roast on to cook & Dean did up work & made a cake. I had a bath & at 2:30 I went up to Superior Western & André cut my hair & gave me a tint, got a few groc & came home at 5: just as Gail, Lynda & Kids & Ray were leaving for Lava. got things packed & locked up & at 6:30 we went & got gas & went up to Safeway & got couple of things we forgot & went got Jerry at 7: & took him down to D.q to work 7: to close. He worked at Safeway 8: to 10: & was off till 1: & went with Betty & Dennis then worked 1: to 7: We had supper at D.q. & left at 8: for Lava stoped at Glenns Ferry & Ivard laid off. we drove until 11:45 then we were all so sleepy we pulled off in a rest area & slept until 3:15 A.M.

Dean took Jerry to work at 8: at Safeway. Ray didn't have to work today.  Dean took him to get hair cut & up to Gails after he called up Donna & found out Family Reunion was Sunday. I washed a bunch of cloths & iorned all afternoon.

At 4: I took Dean up to Dr Marcasen for Physical for Valley Forge, had an appointment for 4: never got out until 6:. I crocheted then went & got Jerry at 5: & we waited some more. fixed supper & ate & Jerry & Dean went to Blades, about wedding at Kuna. I crocheted & we watched T.V., Jerry was home by 10:

Ray worked at D. q. 6: to close today.

Thursday, June 11, 1964

sent Gene a letter in Jerrys

nice today. Jerry was 26 years old today. Dean took him to work at 8: then came home & at 9:45 him & Dale took Sis to Primary, had to take her lunch & go for walk, then they went & had hair cut & Dale walked home & Dean waited for Jackie.

Ray rode to work when Kids went to take Sis. They had to Go get her from Gails at 8:30, stayed all nite.

We got check from Dairymens for Capitol Reserve fund for 116. so me & Kids went up town & got Jerry some birthday Presents & got Dale 3 pr. pants & cowboy hat & Jackie some shoes, went to bank, & got some crochet thread, & $32. worth of groc. came home & got supper on to cook & went & got Jerry at 5: & got him in a decorated birthday cake I had ordered at Albertsons for $2.25. We had Jerrys birthday supper When Ray got home Lyle came & had to give him a half of cake to take home, no supper left. They were takeing Barbra to work. All Kids went up to Gails for awhile & I watched T.V. & crocheted.

Dales last day working with Gail Ivard got bumped of brakemans & went back Switching

Jerry went to work at 8: & at 9:30 Ivard & Dean took Ray to work at D.q. & took Jackie up to Gails to stay all day & night. They got Deans Rail Road Passes & turned in to Scout office for Valley Forge Trip.

Dale got up & went with Dale Dale this morning & Lynda brought him home at noon Co. won't let Gail have riders

we played Scrabble, Ivard & I & Dean then Ivard & I.

Ivard took me up to sign up for unemployment at 2:30 & came right back home.

Dean went & tended Kids for Lyle.

Ivard left for Glenns Ferry at 8: in car, never even said goodbye. Jerry wrote letters & Ray watched T.V.

Jerry got new Sterio Record Player

I had Gold Key Tupper Party

rained most of day & real hard in nite. Dean took them to Piano L. at 10:

Jerry & Rays day off & Lyles so they went & borrowed Gails station wagon & went to Wards & brought Jerrys new $400 Sterio Record player & A.M. FM, radio home because they wouldn't deliver until Tomorrow.

Ivard called on way through, had hr. so I went up & got him at 10 AM & took him back at 11:30 to go on to G.F. he fixed light switch. after Kids got record player home at 11:30 they left for McCall with Wilma & Marion & never got home until after my Tupper Ware Party started, brought a bunch of groc. they got cheap at discount store.

We claned house all day & listened to my records on Jerrys new player

My Gold Key Party_ had 12 here & $45. party Jerry & Ray went after to take girls home. I got 34 stars. Ivard called about 2: A.M. & I went up to R.R. & got him.

Monday, June 8, 1964

Cold & stormy _ rained most of day.

Jerry worked at Safeway & Ray worked at D.q 10: to 6:

Me & Dean played game of Scrabble I crocheted most of day.

Jerry came home at noon, has afternoon off, & played records & slept.

We ate and Jerry & Ray went to M_ Men & Gleaners

Gail brought Dale home at 9:15 & I took him up to clean D.q. yard & we had a Pizza, It was sure cold, Ray & Jerry stoped in a few min, on way to Boise They got home about midnite I came home & went To bed.

Jerry started working for Safeway on Sundays

Jerry went to work at Safeway had to start working Sundays, 7: A: M to 4:

Ray had to open D.q at 10: & didn't have a Key so we took him up to church & got Ediths when Ivard came home from Priesthood to take Sis to sunday school took Ray to D.q & droped me off & Ivard went back for sunday S & Fast meeting. I stayed home today, worked on puzzle.

Fixed dinner & we ate when they got home at 2:30 then Ivard & I, Dale & Jackie went up to Lyles & played cards until 6:45. came home & Jerry _ Ray & Dean were watching T.V., had Wilma & Marian here. We took Ivard up to catch train for G.F. at 8: & it was 2 hrs late so we went up to Gails & waited. Tried to figure out how to knit_ Lyle & Barbra were there. left Dale all nite to work with Gail. Ivard caught train at 10:40.

Dean did up work & I washed cloths in afternoon.  I took him to Stake House at 9:30 for Scout meeting. He came home at 12:30 with Peterson

I worked on my coin collection

Ivard got a ride home from Glenns Ferry & got here at 1: P.M. & he finished listening to ballgame then we went up town & got a extension cord & stuff to fix switch & groc. & Pd on my Penny laway then we went out To Yorgensens & got Jerry 2 pr. garments for his birthday & went out past Kings & looked at house for sale

Jerry got Barbra to work for him at D.q. tonite & him & Ray went to M_ Men Gleaner dance at Stake House

We went to bed early.

Gail brought Dale home late.

Ivard was home

stormy & rain in nite & all day. I woke up at 7:30 & Ivard had just got in bed, came home for day. Dean took Ray to work at 10: & took Sis to Primary & while he waited for her he walked up town & bought her a music book. They got home at 11:30 AM. & we ate lunch. I stayed in bed until about 10:30 after I got Kids off then got up & crocheted.

At 1: Ivard got up & Lynda came & took Dean to tend 10 Kids while mothers got hair done. Ivard & I & sis went up to D.q & had drink & went to store then Ivard & Jackie went to Cattle Auction to see how calves were selling & I patched me 3 dresses, put roast on for supper. We ate after we went & got Jerry from work.  Dean got home at 6: & at Lyle came & took him up to tend his Kids me & Sis took Ivard up to catch train at 8: P.M Jerry & Ray went to Stake House & decorated for dance Tomorrow nite & never got home until midnite

Dean got up & took Jerry to work so I'd have car then at 9:30 I took Ray to work. Dean & Sis did up work & I washed 4 batches of cloths & iorned all day. at 2:15 I got ready & we went up town & I signed up for unemployment & Dean walked up & paid water & Wards we picked him up & went up to Lincoln park & sis went swimming in baby pool & we sat in car & listened to radio & I crocheted. at 4:30 we went to Safeway & bought supper. We ate at 6:15 we waited for Ray btu he didn't come until about 7: Dean made cake & candy this morning. Dale didn't come home today Lyle came & took Dean to tend Kids for 3 hrs, he had meeting & Barbra was working at D.q. 2 girls came & watched a show then Jerry & Ray went bowling with them & never got home until after midnite.

Rained most of day & all tonite

Jerry went to work at 8: & never came home home until 7: stoped at Stake House to help get ready for banquet.

Ray didn't work today, he went to Boise all Day with Wilma, got him a new shirt & Jerry one just like it for his birthday. Him & Ray went To Stake H. to M. Men Gleaner banquet Ray got some one to work for him Tonite Barbra, after banquet they went to Boise & car broke down (some Kids) & they never got home until 3:30 A.M. Dean went & tended Lyles Kids tonite.

Jackie & I went up to D.q & had sundee, Jerry said we could go & put it on his card. Crocheted and watched T. V.

Jackie started Taking Piano lessons

nice day.

Jerry & Rays day off. they went to bank & did business for themselves & me. Lyles day off too he called up 3 or 4 times & was down

I spent all day long cattalogueing my coin cllection until I could scream, I was so tired. I have $231.33 in collection.

at 10: Kids went to Hurrens for Piano lesson, Jackie started today Dale rode bike & sold candy after_ Jerry took Kids & when he came home he went up to D.q. & bought hambergers & fries & sundees for our lunch then him & Ray went to Boise about 2: on Business & met M-Men & Gleaners after & took a load to Idaho City Swimming got home about 1:15 A.M Dean went to Mutual with Yorgensens Dale was off on bike & missed them so didn't go. He rode bike up to Gails To go on route Tomorrow.

Ivard was home 3 hrs.

hot & breezy_ clouded up this evening & rained a little. I read paper in bed. Jerry went to work & at 9:30 I took Ray up to D.q. to work. We changed all 5 beds & Dean & Sis cleaned up the house & I washed cloths all day. Sis & Dean made 3 beds in their room & Jerry helped me make mine. Ray & Dean made his after supper. I made a meat pie with biscuits on for supper & we ate when Kids got home from work.

Dean took Sis up to Gails this afternoon & Jerry got her on his way home from work.  Dale came home about 8: & went & cleaned D.q. yard.

Jerry & Ray went out to lake on M_ Men Party, got home after midnite

Ivard got home about 9: & I went & got him then he left again at 1: AM & drove car back to Glenns Ferry. Came home to get his check for me.
