Got letter from Mother

I came home from work & ate & read paper & went to bed. Kids woke me up at 1:30, when they came home from work so I got up & worked on books washed batch of cloths & listened to conference. Cheryl & Gene came all afternoon, his neck hurt too much to go to work. I took Ray to work at 4:30 for 5: to close & got Dean & went to bank & paid bills, came home & got supper & ate & Gene, Cheryl, Dale, Jackie & Ivard went up to Nampa foot ball game & Jerry & I went to bed. I couldn't sleep.

I took Ray car when I went to work & they picked me up at D.Q.

I came home from work & went to bed. Ivard was still in bed, didn't feel good. I got up at 1:30 & made 6 qts tomatoe spagetti sauce & got supper & we ate when Jerry got home from Paper route & Jackie  came from Primary. Ray didn't go to work until 6:30. They gave me a black Poodle, Ray, 2 boxes fancy candy, pen & filler, a watch on chain, Jerry & box of all accasion cards & my Xmas order marked Pd in full, Dale and a fancy cake with rose. Gene & Cheryl came & ate. While we were eating floral brought 2 big  boquets, one from Jerry & one from Gail, Lyle & Kay went to bed till time for work

I came home & went to bed but it was 11: before I got to sleep. I was cold & Ivard was in bed & Ray made noise.

Jerry & Ray woke me up at 2: to open my birthday present from mother, a pr of garments. I got up & washed 2 batches of cloths & hung out, cooked supper got sock batche turned & paired to put away & cooked a Kettle of tomatoes for juice. Jerry did Lenords evening paper route & Ray rode over on bike & got car & Ivard took Dale to dentist & brought Dean home at 5: Dean & Dale went to Piano L. I went to bed until time for work. Jerry went to see Alice.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed & just got to sleep when Jerry called & said he'd bring car home to get ready so I got up & Ivard took me up to church to relief Society opening Social. real nice lunchon & Programme.

Jerry came & got me at 1:30 & we picked Ray up at D.Q & came home & I went to bed. they woke me up a couple of times but I stayed in bed until time to go to work.

Jerry & Dean went to Mutual. Dale went to Hoggs after school & went from there. Ray was to work I took Ray the car at 10:50 & my ride Picked me up at D.Q.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed. I woke up at 1:30 & Ivard & I played Scrabble then Ray & Jerry came & Ray played a game with us & they watched show & I made a cake & got supper & we ate when Kids got home from school

Jerry got ready & took Ray to work at D.Q. 5:00 to close on his way to get Alice Gould & they went to Boise Dean did dishes & Ivard & I emptied Jerry piggy bank for him & counted it. I checked it for my collection

I went to bed at 6:45 till time for work.

Dean got home from Pocotello

Ivard & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S. Jerry came home from paper route & got ready & him Jackie went to S.S.

I bottled 10 pts mustard pickle, washed 2 batches of cloths & hung out & finished my iorning. 41 pieces. cooked roast & made whipped jello & we ate at 6: when Ray got home from work, Jerry went after him. Dean got home at same time from Pocotello. Ivard watched ball game & had nap. Jerry went to meeting at 2: & slept all afternoon. Ray took father, Dean, Jerry & Dale to church early & came home & had nap & him & Jackie went I washed my hair had bath & went to bed until time fr work. washed sock batch

I got up & fixed another batch of mustard pickle in brine to do tomorrow & cooked a batch, 12 pints. Jackie cleaned house.

Jerry came home from milk route & took D.Q. truck out then did Lenards Paper route. Ray worked 10: to 6: Ivard & I got him when we went to store. I washed 5 batches of cloths & iorned 37 pieces - so tired.

watched T.V until it went off air. Ivard went to bed at 11:

I came home from work & went to bed & just got to sleep & Ray woke me up so I got up & picked green tomatoes & made 11 pints of Indian relish Ivard & I went to store & got pickle stuff & picked Ray up at D.Q & came home & fixed supper & we ate & I got a batch of Mustard Pickle in brine to do tomorrow

Dean left school at noon & went to Pocotello until Sun. to Jernalism Conference.

I got supper & when Gene & Cheryl brought Jackie home from Primary we all ate.

I came home from work & Ray was home & in bed. I went to bed & Ivard got me up at 2:15, Avon lady was here then I took Ivard to Dr. & Picked Ray up at D.Q. & we went to Rail Road & Pd father Ins & to bank & Jerry & Ray walked & pd phone & Top furn. Took Jerry to take D.Q. truck out & it was so late. Ray stayed too to work 5: to close. Got father & took him to drug store for pills & just got home & Dean called so I went & got him & got groc. Came home at 6: & they went & got Jerry & went to Piano L. Jerry fixed supper

Got books up & went to bed until time for work.

Jerry came & took Ivard to Doctor, his blood is too thin again, then finished his milk route. He took D.q. truck out couple of hrs. Credit for me & Jerry took Dairy q truck out & Dean came home & scrubbed & cleaned house Dale mowed lawn & cleaned his bed room & went over to Hoaggs to Play foot ball all afternoon. Ivard doesn't feel a bit good, so tired, doesn't look good either.

I came home from work & ate & read paper & went to bed. Kids woke me up at 11: & we took Ray up to D.q to work & Ivard went to R.R. & had Ins papers signed & we went & Paid place. stoped at D.q & had lunch & brought Ray home & I worked on my books & laid down but never did get to sleep. Jerry took Ray to work at 5: & got Dean from school.

At 6:45 Ivard & I & Dean went up to American Legion Hall to banquet they gave for Boy & Girls then went to Boys & Girls State & their parents. Came home at 9: & went to bed until time to go to work

Ray had to go for his Physical, didn't pass, has growth on his lung.

Ivard took him to Caldwell & got him tonite at bus depot

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed at 9:, I was froze. Ivard got me warm then got up & had bath & watched T.V.

I got up at 2:30 & watched movie & got supper. We ate at 5: when Ivard got back with Ray.

I came home & put ham roast in oven & made ice box rolls & went to bed.

Ivard, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S. Cheryl came & took Jackie to S.S. Ray stayed in bed until noon. Jerry came home from paper route & went to S.S.

They got me up when they came home & I made hot rolls & escalloped potatoes & carrots & Peas. Jerry had made jello. We ate at 1:30 Cheryl & Gene were here too. Dale had gone to Play foot ball out to Sunny Ridge school. Jerry & Dean took Ray to work at D.Q 5: to close. I went to bed at 5: Ivard & Kid went to church

86 °  I came home from work & Jerry & Dean were on milk route. I went to bed until noon when Kids got home then I got up & washed 2 batches of cloths & iorned all afternoon, 40 pieces. Made potatoe soup for supper.

Dale mowed lawn & went collecting & after supper took his paper money to Lenord

Dean took Jerry up to Dairy Queen to take truck out & he came home & cleaned house.

Ray went to work at Dairy Q 10: to 6: & Edith brought him & Jerry home. Jerry went to bed at 7: & me.

Dean took Dale over to Stake House to dance. Ray went with Phil. I went to work at 11:.

I woke up at 1:30 & Ivard was asleep & Ray was to work on lunch hr at D.Q. Jerry came about 3: & brought milk he went up to Dairy to laod at 4:15 & took Ray to work so he wouldn't have to walk Got home at 7: & brought Dean from school. Dale went collecting after school.

Jerry fixed supper

Dean went to School to game & Jerry went on date until 3:50 A.M., no girl.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

Kids woke up at 2: & I got up & run tomatoes throug & bottled 10 qts juice. & made meat loaf & got supper Jerry went after Dean at 3:00 & Ray stayed up to work at D.Q. We ate when Jackie got home from Primary.

I came home from & went to bed & just got to sleep & Ray work me up so I got up & bottled 14 qts pears & got supper liver & onions.

Jerry came home from work & picked cucumbers & tomatoes & put cucumbers & tomatoes in Brine & cooked tomatoes ready for me to do juice in morning

Ray went to work this afternoon at D.Q for munch hr. then tonite 5: to close

We ate & Dean took Ray & him & Dale & Jackie got their school supplies then Dean & Dale went to Piano L. & Jackie did dishes & washed bottles. I went to bed till work.

went & got Dean from school & took father out to get part for Dodge & left him & Dean & I went over by Caldwell & got sack of onions came home & Jerry had finished supper & we ate & they went to Mutual Got called back to work - had bath

Monday, September 5, 1966

awful hot I laid off tonite

Jerry & Dean went on their milk route, Phil Murry came & got Ray at 10:30 & they went to Sand Dunes. Ray came home at 5:45 & went to work at D.q till close then went with Rodney until 2:30 AM. I changed all the beds & washed 10 bathes of cloths. Dean came home at noon & scrubbed & cleaned house & Jerry took D.Q. truck out until dark.

Dale went collecting & father cut his hair & I washed it Deans, Jackies & Ivards.

I bottled 13 qts pears, first Jackie & I made my & Dales bed & I went to bed at 9:30 after I checked Jerry & Dales money & went & got Jerry.

I didn't get much done, played Scrabble with Ivard.

Ray started working at Dairy Q. today, 6: to close

Kids got home at dark & I checked their money & we went to bed at 1030

I came home from work & changed everything & washed, I was a mess, went to bed. Got up when Kids got home from work at 2:. Droped Jerry & Dean off at Dairy queen & they took truck out until dark

We went to bank & paid bills & Ivard went to Dr. & got Ins papers & went to Rail Road to get Doctors order. He drove ca today. We went to D.Q & had lunch, Ivard & I & Jackie. Came home & worked on my books after we took Dale up to get Drivers Permit, He got home from collecting just as we got home. we went & got Kids at D.Q at 8:30 & Jerry took Jackie in for school supplies, she mowed neighbors law & earned 2. I checked Kids money. Went to bed early, too sick to go to work.

Ruth & Ray left for Idaho Falls

Ray went to Utah to Dr.

Sunny & breezy. My ride didn't come so Ivard & Jerry took me

Kids went on milk route & came home at 7:15 & I had breakfast ready & we ate & Ruth & Ray left for Idaho Falls to Morleys.

Kids went & finished milk route & cmae home & got ready & too  Ray up to Dairy queen to arrange his work Skedual then they took Ivards Ins papers to Dr. & went to Boise to see about Jerrys school.

I washed 5 batches of cloths & hung out & played 2 games Scrabble with Ivard & when Kids got home Ray made cake & Jerry & I got supper & I did yesterday & todays dishes. Dean went to Piano L at 6: & Jerry went with him. Dale didn't go. I went to bed at 6:30 till time for work. Took Ray to train
