Monday, November 30, 1964

foggy when I came home rained all day & tonite. I came home & ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. Jerry woke me up at 3:20 to talk to real estate guy. Jerry fixed supper, frozen dresseing & turkey I had in freezer we just got through eating at 5:15 when Ivard got home from Emmett. I wrote to Gene & figured out bills & Ivard & Jackie went up to Credit Union of R.R to see if we could get money for new house. Ray had bath & went to Stanley Party, Dale went & cleaned D.q. yard in rain. Jerry worked at D.q 11:45 to 1:30 & 6: to close. I went to bed at 7:30 until time to go to work

Sunday, November 29, 1964

mostly cloudy. Ray & Dean went to Priesthood, Gail brought Dale home to late to get ready. Jerry was half sick so he stayed home He took Dale & Jackie up to Sunday school & came home & wrapped Xmas presents & cooked dinner while I iorned him some shirts. I iorned until 4:30 & just stoped for dinner. Iorned 66 pieces & washed 3 batches.

I took Jerry to to D. q to work 5: to close & got books up, laid down & worked on puzzle

At 7: Me_ Ray_Dean, Dale & Jackie went to Church. Came home at 9:30 & I went to bed until 11: & went to work at 11:30, didn't ahve to be there until 12:30. foggy

breezy- thawing.  I took Ivard up to Rail Road at 8: & he went to Emmett until Monday nite. Gail came & got Dale just as we left to go on route & brought him home at 4: & he went & got hair cut & cleaned D. q yard & Gail picked him up there & he went & tended Kids & stayed all nite.

Ray went to work at 8:30.

Dean cleaned house & Jerry & him & Jackie went & got me some more material for Rays Costume then went up to Santa Parade & I cut out Rays bellaro & got his costume finished Jerry went to work 6: to close Ray came home & got ready for Gold & Green ball, had date with Nancy Croft left at 8:45 I bathed & went to Gold & Green ball & saw Ray in floor show. came home at 11: & watched show.

snowed a little today

Jerry_ Dean & Dale went to Boise Xmas shopping all day. Ray went to work, his boss took him to Dr. & his toe is broken from dropping lumber on it last week. Ivard & I played Scrabble then I sewed all afternoon on Rays costume

Kids got home at 5: & we ate & Jerry went to work 6: to close, I took him.  Ray & Dean went messing off & Dale & Jackie did dishes. Made Jackies doll a nite gown & jacket.

Thursday, November 26, 1964

There was 4 in. of snow when we woke up. I got up & put 22 lb turkey in oven. Jerry_ Ray & Dean had to work at D. q. 11: to 6: Jerry went at 10:15 to shovel snow. Lyle came at 10: & got Stanley & they went to Metcalfs for dinner & were going home early. I made dressing & Jello salad & sewed on Rays costume Ivard & I played Scrabble. We ate our dinner at 6:30 when Kids came_ Gail stoped in just as we were going to eat for few min. I was so upset & nervous from sewing I hollared at every one. I went to bed about 7: Ray went to dance practice. Jerry & Dean went messing around awhile

Wednesday, November 25, 1964

Lyle came

rained most of nite & a little today & again tonite.

Kids went to school at 8:30, Jerry took them. Ray went to work.

I washed cloths & sewed & made 4 carrot Puddings. Ivard scrubbed back porch & walks & did dishes.

Lyle & family got here about 11:30 until 3:30 then went up to Gails came back at 5:30 for supper & went back to Gails to stay all night, Stanley stayed here.

We went to store & got 10 pies put in freezer. & I got supper

Ivard & Lyle took Kids out to Piano lesson & came back & we Played Penochle & at 8: Ivard & I & Stanley went up & got Jerry, he worked 10: till 8:, & went & got Kids. Ivard & Kids played games & I worked on books. I went to bed at 10:15

Tuesday, November 24, 1964

rained most of nite and on & off today. We got laid off for holidays until Sunday nite. I came home & laid down a hr but didn't get to Sleep when Arnie Wilcott came & took ups up to bank to apply for loan on new place, doesn't sound very favorable. came home & went & spent my whole check, $51., on groc. got 25lb turkey.

I fixed supper & we ate when Ray got home from work. Jerry worked 11:45 to 4: from 6: till close

At 6:30 Ivard, Jackie & I went over to Terrace Drive Inn & saw Two good shows, rained the whole time. got home at 11:30 & I was dead

36° when I came home & a little foggy- foggy all day.

I came home from work & Ivard was already home, passed Ray & Jackie up at corner. Ivard went to bed & I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30 Jerry went to work at 11:45 to 1:35. I woke up at 1:40 & Ivard was gone & never showed up until about 5:30, been over to Brumbles in Meridian

I washed some cloths & fixed supper & we ate and Jerry went to work 6: to close Ivard went home teaching with Mr. Allen. Ivard has his miles in & can't work any more until Friday. I went to bed until Time to go To work at 11: rained most of nite.

31° when I came from work & it was really snowing at Caldwell & every thing was white, started at 6:30 AM stoped time I got home & was melted when I got up at noon 2.45. I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. Ivard was home & in bed asleep.

Jerry_ Ray, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & Sunday S. & Ray came home & took Jackie. I woke up at 2:45 & they'd eaten & Jackie was doing dishes. I ate & wrote to Kay then Ivard & I played a game of Scrabble & he went to work at 5:45 to Nyssa. He watched ball game all day

26° when I came through Nampa

sunny all day. Ivard was home in bed & Ray was just leaving for work at 8:30.

Real estate guy called & said the builder had accepted our place in trade.

I ate & went to bed & read paper it was about 10:30 before I went to sleep time Kids left & phone ect., then Ray woke me at noon when he came home. I woke up again at 2:30 & Ivard got up & watched foot ball. I got books up.

Dale went with Gail today & Jerry- Dean & Jackie went to Boise to Xmas Parade & shopping They came home at 5: & at 5:45 Ivard left for Nyssa & Jerry went to work 6: to close I went to bed at 6: then Gail brought Dale home & he went & cleaned D. q yard then Gail called & wanted him to tend Kids so Ray took him up when him & Nancy Croft Went to show, he was home in time for me to go to work

I'm real enemic & went & got pill after I picked Jackie up at school at 4:40, stayed & helped teacher. I lost 1 lb this time still have a lot of water. We ate & Ivard left for Nyssa. Ray worked D>q 6: to close & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Sunny & not too cold. I came home from work & Ivard was home in bed. I read paper & ate & went to bed at 9:30.

We got up at 2: & I made tea & we played Scrabble (2) & I washed some cloths & Cooked supper & we ate after Ivard went & got me some gas & got Jackie from Primary & Dale came from Cleaning D. q yard & Ray got home. Sunny not quite as cold

I came home from work & Ray was still in bed, he called & laid off work to go to Dr. Daines about his throat, it has never healed since he had his tonscils out. Dr said he had cut out the sac that makes his head collagate, it will grow back in time. He went on route with Gail & I had to take him Ivard up to get car to go to work at 5:30. I went to bed at 9:00 & Ivard got home about 9:30. Kids went up Town before Jerry went to work at 10:

We got up at 1:45 & I washed 3 batches of cloths & cooked supper. Ray took Kids to Piano Lessons at 6:30 & Jerry went & got them.

a little warmer when I came home 34° cloudy but sun came out. Ivard was home & in bed. I took Jackie to school & came home & read paper & went to bed.

Jerry went to work at D.q. 10:30. I went to bed at 9:30 & it was 4: when we woke up. I took Sis to dance Practice & went up to S & H stamp center & got Ivards shaver they fixed then went back to Practice We got out at 6: & stoped at D. q & Jerry gave us milk & orance drink. I came home from work froze to death. Ivard was already home in bed. I read paper & went to bed too. Jerry is working days this week while Mr. Johnson is in Utah, went 10:30 to 6:

We woke up at 2:15 & went up Town To bank and Paid our bills came home & made out payments to mail & got books up. Ivard took Dale up to get some P.E shorts after school. Dean fixed supper & we ate & Ivard left for Nyssa at 5:45. We had fire in fireplace. I went to bed at 6:30 until time to go to work, left at 11: Ray went to dance Practice.

I went back to work after month off

Cloudy & stormy

Ivard got home from work about 8: & came to bed. I read paper in bed & when Ray, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood I got up.  Jerry had to open D.q at 10: to 5: Ray came home & got Sis for S.S. & I cleaned bath room sink ect. & washed my hair, finished up my crochet dresser set & put cloths up & streightened up. When Kids came I fixed lunch & Ivard got up & ate. We started to Play Scrabble & I told Ivard he couldn't watch ball game on Sunday so he got mad & quit & went back to bed. Ray came home from church & made cake & took off.

I got books up & wrote to Gene & mother & note in Kays birthday card & Dean wrote Gene too & Ivard didn't mail his yesterday. Ray came home & wrote letters. Ivard mailed them when he left for work at 5:45 I cooked supper & we ate at 5: & Ray went to work at D.q.. I had bath & went to bed until time to go to work. Kids went to Church.

Ivard went back to work at Nyssa

cloudy & cold wind. Dean just about forgot to get up, had to be up to school at 8: to go to Boise to debate all day, Jerry took him up & went & got him at 5:

I changed all the beds & washed them & Jerry & Dale made all but mine & Dean & I did Ivard cleaned up my room & Dean cleaned up rest of house I patched all day in between washing, cloths froze on line but blew dry. Jerry & Dale went up & brought $35. worth of groc. I fixed lunch for Ivard & Ray when he came home, Jerry & Dale had eaten. Ivard went up & got Jackie at 1: from Gails & Patty Forsgrin came & they made stuff for school. Ivard watched ball games all day. Cold & windy

The real estate guy brought owner of new house to see if he'd take our place equity as down payment. Haven't heard if he will. I spent most of day washing & makeing a Perse hanger for closet for Mother birthday.

Jerry went to work at D.q 11:45 to 1:30 then got hair cut.  At 2: Ivard & I went out & looked at new house again, sure hope we can get it, a lot more done now. When Kids came from school me & them went out to see it again, Jerry wanted too.  Came home & ate, put it on before we left, & Jerry went to work & Ray went to dance practice.  Dean did dishes & studied &  Dale & I walked up to D. q & he cleaned yard & went home & Ivard & Sis picked me up & we went to Gails & Played Penochle until 11:15. Sis stayed all nite.

Kids went to school, Ivard took Jackie when he went up to R. R. he had to get up & go get milk for breakfast. Ray went to work at 8: I read paper in bed & got up about 9: I don't feel so good Ivard & I played Scrabble about all day. Jerry went & worked at D. q. 11:45 to 2: & 6: to close he helped fixed supper. Ivard took Jackie to Primary & went to rail road, he is still off from being bumped or he will get too many miles. No school & Ray had day off & Ivard, got bumped.

We got up late, read paper in bed. Dale & Jackie practiced piano & I washed some cloths & Ivard & Dale hauled garbage.

At 10:15 Jerry & Dean went to Boise Xmas shopping and when Ivard got home from hauling garbage at 10:30 we got ready & at 11: Ivard & I, Ray Dale & Jackie left for Baker, just as we were going Jerry & Dean came, decided to go with us. got up there & Lyle wasn't home, We looked at their house & sat awhile then left for home, there was snow there but melting. We stoped in Huntington, Oregon & had dinner

got to Nampa at 5: & stoped to Gails half hr. just got home & fire made in fire place & in walked Lyle. We played Penochle then they went up town, left for home at 10: in hard wind storm. blizzard up there way.

got letter from Kay

Had to go to Nyssa & take Keys, Ivard lost his

rained all morning & until about 3:30 real hard & we had real wind. storm tonite.

Kids went to school and Ivard went to Nyssa to work, got bumped tonite.

At 10: Jerry droped me off at relief Society work day & picked me up after he got off work at 2: Jerry got Kids from school it was raining so hard.

Jerry made waffles for supper

I took Jackie to dancing then went to pick Ray up at work but couldn't find him. Jerry went to work 6: to close.

Ray, Dean & Dale went to Mutual & Ray & Dean played basketball after never got home until after 11:

Jackie & I walked up to D.q & back in bluster & watched T.V & I crocheted

at 1: AM Ivard called, had lost car Keys, so Ray & I took him mine, got home at 2:45 A.M.

stormy & cloudy all day rained all afternoon & during nite.

I washed 5 batches of cloths.

Real estate guys came & looked at our place to see if we can trade it on new house.

Jerry went to work at D.q 11:45 to 2: & 6: to close.

real estate guy came again this afternoon & talked about the deal.

I crocheted. We had supper & cleaned up & Ray had a Stanley Party tonite. It got over about 10: I didn't have my walk tonite, raining & too late after party.

I didn't wake up until Kids were gone to Priesthood & neither did Ivard, his day off. I read paper in bed & worked on puzzle. Jerry Ray_Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S & didn't come for Jackie so father drove her up. I had dinner at noon & we ate & at 1:30 Jerry went to meeting at Stake House then to work at D.q. 5: to close

At 3: the real estate guy came & took us all out to see new house on greenhurst above Ediths Loos drive, first time Ivard or Ray had seen it & they really liked it, Ivard told him to go ahead & see if we could swing it. He brought us home & went up to Gail until time to go to church & we all went to church.

Ivard left for Nyssa at 7:30 AM & Ray went to work at 8: & Dean went up to H. S & took college test deal at 9: & got home at noon.

Jerry went & got some medecine to doctor his awful cold, don't work today & got some one to work for him tonite. He took Jackie up to Gails twice to get her hair done, werent home first time. Dale went up on his bike to clean weeds for Gail but they never were home

I crocheted, washed some cloths. Dean cleaned up house.

Jerry had to go help at D.q till 7:30 then Ray went & got him & we went up to church to Murry girls reception, Wooley were over from Oregon. Came home & Jerry went back to work till close. I walked up & back before I went to reception

nice warm sunny day. Ivard drove car to Nyssa today so Jerry got up & took Ray to work.

I had bath & went to Dr. at 10: had blood sugar test, everything was OK.  I've lost 3 more lbs, have a lot of water retention this time.

Jerry went to work at D.q 11:15 to 1:30 & 6: to close, he cooked supper. I crocheted awhile then iorned all afternoon & washed some cloths. At 4:30 I took Dean up to interview guy at unemployment agency & to free Press & went after Ray but he had walked home picked him up at Dq. Came home & ate & Jerry went to work. Jack & I walked up to D.q & back & at 7:20 Ray & I went out to Ediths to Stanley Party, came home at 10:30 & went to bed & Ray went some place until after midnite. Ivard got home at 1:45 AM

sunny nice day. Ivard left for work & Kids went to school & Ray went to work. I crocheted all morning & washed cloths.

Jerry went to work at D.q. 11:45 to 1:30 & 5:, I was just walking up to get car & met him at Rhodes & brought him home & went & got Sis from Primary.

I iorned all afternoon. We ate & Jerry had to go back to work 6:30 to close, a lot of hrs. today.

Dale & I walked up to D.q & sat awhile & walked home again, wasn't half bad. I finished crocheting edge on scarf. went to bed early tonite

nice day.

Ivard went to work at Nyssa & Kids went to school. Ray didn't go to work until noon, had to take his report to Caldwell to Parole officer. I went too & went out to Simplots & got my little check & put money in bank for Dean & Dale & my dimes in, Ray went to work & I washed 3 or 4 batches of cloths & Jerry & I went up town after he came from work at D.q at 1:30. I finished embroidering linen scarf & started to crochet an edge on it.

We ate & Jerry went to work at D.q 6: to close & Ray took Kids out to Hurrens to Piano lesson. I walked up to hyway & back for my exercise .6 of mile. up & back. I stayed up & weatched T.V. until it went off air at 12:45. just got in bed when Ivard got home at 1: Jerry was home & in bed.

Sunny & warm all morning cloudy in aternoon. Ivard let for Nyssa to work at 7:45 & Kids went to school. I washed rugs & my bed today. went to relief Society after I had bath & got read I came home at noon & tended my cloths & embroideried & at 1:30 I went & got Jerry from D. q. & we went & voted & went up town, mailed Dales seeds back he didn't sell & Jerry bough some stuff for me to make a shoe Perse rack for closet at work day next week

came home & ate after Moad Realaty guy came & took us all out to see a new house on greenhurst at 3:30, Kids got home early so they could go. Jerry went to work 6: to close & Ray, Dean & Dale went to Mutual & when they got home Dean & I made my bed. Jackie & I went to dancing 4:35 to 6:10. listened to Eleckons

cloudy-rained hard in afternoon & in nite & thundered & lightened read paper in bed & got up & got veg. salad ready for dinner, onions ect. Ivard.Lyle _ Ray_ Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & came home & got us & we all went to S.S. & Fast meeting. Ivard confirmed Jackie & Lyle Terry I bore my testimony. We went out to Consumers on Hyway & got big fancy halloween decorated birthday cake & came home at 2: & got buffet lunch ready & when Gail came at 2:40 we ate. Ivards day off. Jerry worked at D.q. 10: to 5: Jackie & Dale went home at 4:30 with Gail & Lyle went to Metcalfs & Ivard & I, Ray & Dean went up & saw new house by Lincoln school then out & went through Doug Pallesons new split level one for sale, might get it. droped Dean off home at 6: & him & Jerry went to Kuna dedication of their chapel & we went up to Gails awhile. Came home & went to bed at 8:15.
