I went to Irene Johnsons to paint class

Ray went to Boise

Sent Gene money & Dean sent him letter

Cold wind - sunny - cloudy

Dale went on paper route & him & Dean went to school. Jerry went to work & when he came home from lunch Ray took him back & went to Boise to Library until 11: P.M.

I went to Irenes to Paint Class at 10:30 & came home at 2: & figured out Bills & Ivard & I left Sis home alone in bed & went to bank & paid bills. Got us & Sis a Milk Shake & came home.

Went & got Dean at school, had to work in book store. Went & got Jerry from work & took Dale to collect. Car broke signal light wouldn't shut off & horn stop honking.

Betty came at 7: & Jerry & Dean went to Boise with her to library, came home at 11:

Home teachers came & administered to Jackie & we went to bed early.

Ivard went to work at Midnite.

Sunday, February 27, 1966

Sunny & chilly. Cloudy.

Jerry & Dale went on their paper routes then Ivard, Jerry Ray, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S. I Kept Sis in bed & made hot rools & cooked dinner & we ate about 1:, frosted Rays cake he made last nite

Dale did dishes, paid Ray to do them for him & he walked over to Hoggs for afternoon & went to church with them.

I talked to Vanda, she gave me another week off, leave of absence.

Had hard time Keeping Sis down. We played Scrabble.

Kids went to church early went to 2nd Ward first to Carlson Kids farewell.

Ivards nite off. We had fire in fire place & stayed up till T.V. went off air.

Saturday, February 26, 1966

windy & sunny & cloudy.

Dean had to be up to school at 8: to take test. got home at 11:30. Jerry went to work all day.

Ivard took Dale over to Stake House at 2: to meeting about National Scout Jamboree then dumped him off to collect.

Played Scrabble & painted & tended Sis all day.

Dean cleaned house this afternoon

We went & picked Dale up & went to M&W & Safeways & got groc. I fixed supper & we ate.

Ray watched T.V. all day & worked on genelogy

Ray went to Party on Carlson Kid before he went on mission. Jerry & Dean took roast & Plant to Hunters. Ivards nite off. We watched T.V. until went off air.

Friday, February 25, 1966

brought Jackie from hospital

Jerry took Ray to "Sound of Music"

Jerry got up & took Dale on paper route & & Dale waited & rode to school when Jerry went to work. Ivard came home from work & went right to bed & I got up & put 4 dz. eggs away some guy gave him. Avon lady brought my order. I read paper & made list of seen-end specials, made a angle food cake & put roast on to cook.

Jerry came home for lunch & Ray took him back & went to Boise to do genelogy, came home at 6: & brought Jerry & we ate.

Ivard & I went & saw Sis all afternoon.

Jerry & Dean took Ray to Boise to "Sound of Music" & Ivard went to bed. I went to hospital to See Sis & they said I could bring her home so I dashed home to get her cloths & Ivard & I went & got her & picked Dale up from collecting.

We went to Owyhee Ward reunion

Dale got picked to go to National Scout Jamboree at Farriget

took Jackie out of oxygen tent.

Kids went to school & Jerry went to work. Ivard came from work & read paper & went to bed. I took Ray up to Nampa floral at 10: & he got car & went & signed for unemployment & got Betty Coats & they went to Boise to genelogy library after Ray went & applied for his pass port. I painted all morning on quilt blocks.

Gail came at 11: & woke Ivard up & he went & signed for him to get a car 1959 Plymouth Station wagon & they dropped him off at hospital to see Jackie. I washed & dried a batch of cloths & did dishes & made jello salad then I went to hosp. they'd taken Sis out of Oxygen tent. We came home at 3: & played Scrabble & Ivard went & got Dean. Ray came & Dean went & got Jerry while we got ready & Ray & Dale went & Saw Sis a min. then Ivard & I, Ray Dean & Dale went to Owyhee Ward to reunion nice dinner & programe. got home at 11:45 & Ivard went to work. Jerry went & saw Sis & went to Scout Meeting. Dale got Picked for Farriget.

Jerry went to work & Kids to school & Ivard came home from work & went right to bed. I stayed in bed awhile & got up & washed 3 or 4 batches of cloths, had to do all of Dales bedding. Ivard got up at 1: & we went to hospital to see Jackie. she feels pretty good. she has to stay in oxygen tent all the time. We left about 3:30 & I went & saw Jackies teacher. picked Dean & Dale up & came home & got supper & we ate when Jerry got home & Dean & Jerry went Home Teaching then to see Jackie Ray got home about 5:

Ivard & I & Dale went to hospital at 7:30 & Ray stayed home & watched T.V. Came home at 9: & went to bed & Ivard went to work at 11:45.

Jackie went to hospital with Phnemonia

Piano lessons today

Sunny but real windy.

Ray was home all day, watched T.V., played Scrabble. I washed cloths & my hair. Ivard came home from work & went to bed until noon.

Jackie coughs so bad & it seems worse so I called Dr & they finally said I could bring her in at 5:30. I had a bath & took her in & it was 8: before we got to see Dr & he examined her & said, "Shes got phnemonia" to get her right up to hospital so I came home & fed her & Ivard & I took her right up & they put her in oxygen tent. We came home about 10:

I fixed supper before I left but no one ate. Dean & Dale went to Piano right after school then Jerry took them to Mutual early.

Monday, February 21, 1966

Lyle left for home.

Sunny & cold wind.

I washed cloths & babed 8 loaves bread today. Jackie caughs too hard to go to school

Lyle & family came about 10: they'd stayed over to Gails all nite came down Sat nite late to her mothers.

Ivard & Lyle went up town & got part for Lyles car & Ivard marked up on midnite-Switching job with Sat. & Sun. off.

I fixed lunch & we played penochle all afternoon & Kids played games.

Ray left at noon for Boise to do genelogy got home at 11:30.

Lyle left at 3:30 & Ivard & I & Jackie went up & got gas & dashed to Glenns Ferry & Ivard signed up for unemployment. got there just befor guy went home at 5: We stoped in Hammett & had supper Got home at 7:00 & Jerry just waled in, had to walk home, him & Dean went to Stake meeting Ivard went to bed & went to work at 11:45.

I finishe iorning.

Jerry & Dale went on their paper route & Ivard, Jerry, Ray Dean & Dale went to priesthood & S.S. Jackie caughs too bad to go to church. I cooked roast & made hot rolls & we ate dinner at 4:15 when Jerry & Dean got home from Stake meeting. We ate then because Barbra's sister called & said they would be here today right after church but they didn't come. Called about 9: & wanted us to come bowling but we couldn't leave Sis alone, Kids were to church. Ivard stayed home & we had fire in fire place & watched T.V.

Lyle & Barbra came about 10: for awhile then went back to Gails & stayed all nite. Kids were over there asleep. I stayed home again to visit with Lyle.

Saturday, February 19, 1966

Ivard got bumped out of Glenns F.

Sunny but coll breeze.

I had to get up at 3: A.M & go get Ivard, he got bumped out of G.F.

Ray worked for Doug P. until 1: & watched T.V. all afternoon

Took Jerry to work & Ivard went up to Rail Road to see about work.

I changed all the beds & washed cloth all day & iorned all afternoon. Dean cleaned house & Ivard cleaned bed room.

Dale & I went up town & got groc. about 5: I made chilli & we ate about 4:0 We went & got Jerry at work & got Dean from Practicing organ at church while we were getting groc.

Ivard went to work on Boise local at 9:30, came home at midnite 1:15 & slept until 3: & went 2nd trip & got home at 8:

Ivard went on noon train

sunny & a lot warmer

Ivard called at 2:30 A.M. he'd missed out & came right back again. I got up & went & got him

Jerry & Ray went to work Jackie home still sick but a lot better. I fixed breakfast & Ivard took Ray to work when he went up to call G.F. he had to go on noon train, Jackie & I took him up.

I made bread, 4 loaves & got supper. I iorned all of Jerry & Rays things today 30 pieces. & washed & crocheted

Dean went & got hair cut after school & we ate when Kids came at 6:15. Dale did dishes & went to show with Butlers. Dean went to game  at school Jerry did genelogy & Ray listened to B.Y.U. game. I went to bed at 9:15. I went & got Dale at 12:30

Ivard went back to Glenns F.

Ray started working for Doug Pallesen

Sunny & warmer.

Dale went & paper route & went to school when Jerry went to work. I fixed Ivard, Jackie & Ray breakfast & Ivard & I went up & pd. place, went to bank & paid bills then went to Mortuary & visited with Schulthies, Rendall, died Sun., heart attack.

Jerry came home for lunch & Ray took him back & he went to work for Doug Pallasen. We came home & Ivard played games with Jackie & I got books up & got supper on & Ivard & I took Dale collecting. Came home & ate & Jerry & Dean went Home teaching & we watched movie, I had to take Ivard up to catch train in middle of it. I went up & got Dale at 9:45, went to game at High School. Ivard bought lunch at D.Q.

Vanda brought me a flower arrangement this morning while I was gone.

Got letter from Mother & Gene

Ivard came home at 4:

cold & stormy again

Jackie isnt too much better & my cold is worse, in my head.

I played games with Sis most of day & painted. I did half of yesterdays dishes & Ray finished them when he got home from Boise, went to see about pass port, with Betty. I took him to Chappins to have his picture taken at 10:30 & she met him there

Ivard came home on 4: train & I went & picked him up & got supper. we ate & Dean & Dale went to Piano lesson & Ivard & I went up & paid Rail R. Credit Union  & borrowed $200. for Ins. package deal, ahd to get them all up to date. went to bed early.

Tuesday, February 15, 1966

Sunny but cold.

I feel terrible & Sis too hard days work trying to keep her down.

I made oatmeal bread (2 loaves) white bread (4) & 4 dz cinnamon rolls & banna pudding, took me all day

Jerry went to work & came home for lunch.

Ray went to Caldwell to see draft board & to see the Bishop about his mission. Came home & wrote letters all afternoon.

Ivard didn't come home today or call.

We ate when Jerry got home & Jerry, Dean, Dale & Ray went to Mutual about 6:30 so Dean could practice. Jackie & I went to bed early. Relief Society teachers came.

Ivard went to Glenns F

Jackie has Broncial Phnemonia

cloudy & cold wind

Dale took Jackies valentines to school & brought hers home. She was too sick. I took her to Dr. at 11:30 & she has a slight touch of broncial phnemonia. We took Ivard up to catch train at 12: & we went to M&W. & drug store & got $10. worth of medecine & took Sis home & Doctored her & got her to bed. Gail was here when we got home.

My cold is a lot worse, in my head. I called Vanda & talked to her for about 1/2 hr.

I made jello & fixed punch & sandwiches for valentine supper & we didn't eat until about 7:30 when Jerry got home. Ray came in on 4: train & I went up & got him.

Sunday, February 13, 1966

Sunny - cloudy - not very warm. Jerry & Dale went on their paper routes & came back & went to bed awhile.

Jerry - Ivard - Dean & Dale went to priesthood & Sunday S. I read paper, washed batch of cloths & got dinner - made hot rolls, baked beans scalloped potatoes cottage cheese jello. Jackie is still sick.

We ate at 1: & Dean did dishes & Ivard & Jerry had nap. Jackie had beauty parlor & worked on me. Jerry, Dean & Dale left at 6: for choir practice & Sacrament meeting

Jackie & I feel worse this afternoon. Ivard said I'd better not try to go to work. Jackie has a lot worse caugh.

We watched Sunday nite movie & went to bed

snowed in nite - cloudy - Sunny windy. Ivard went to work & Dean cleaned house & I washed cloths & played Scrabble with Ray & Ivard. Ivard missed out this morning called & was OK but 2 guys ahead of him missed out & it got him

I cooked roast & fixed supper & we ate at 4:30 & Ivard & I took Ray up to Smiles to work at 5: & picked Jerry up from work at 6: & went to Dairy q. & got us all milk shake, Dale bought. We watched T.V. until went off air

My nite off, plant down.

Jerry went to party & at 10:30 picked Ray up & took him to depot to catch train for Idaho F. to his roommates farewell tomorrow Dean went to school to game.

Ray got his Mission Call to Chilli

Ivard came home. Sent Scott card

Sent mother Valentine.

Had a tint.

Sunny - cloudy - windy.

Ivard called at 3: AM & I got up & went & got him at yard office. Cars wouldn't start, Ivar got neighbor to help him start them. Ray went to Caldwell to see draft board & Jerry was late for work & Dale for school Dale didn't wake up & Jerry took him on paper route & they used all gas, why we couldn't start dodge We played Scrabble & at 1:15 Jackie & I went up to Superior Western & Andree cut our hair & tinted mine. Got groc. & came home & fixed supper & we ate when Ray went & got Jerry from work.

Ivard & I & Dean went up town with Dale to Scout Court of Honor, didn't last long - good thing the building was an icebox. Plant down tonite.

Dean was invited to join national Honor society

Jackie is still home sick & I don't feel too hot.

Jerry went to work & Kids to school & we had fire in fire place all day & I Kept Jackie in bed down their & I painted & crocheted most all day.

I made a cake & Jello & fixed supper & we ate when Jerry got home

Ray was going up town & run battery down & we couldn't start the Desoto.

I didn't go to work.

We all went to bed early but Ray.

Jackie home sick

Ivard was home an hr.

Got letter from Lyle.

cloudy, snow squalls on & off all day. I Kept Jackie in bed all day, has real bad cough.

Jerry went to work & when he came home for lunch he brought Ivard home, he was waiting for them to make up train, he was here about 1 1/2. we ate & Ray - Ivard & I played Scrabble & Ray took him back up to train & went to unemployment office.

I made pudding & tamalee Pie for supper & we ate when Jerry got home & Dean & Dale went to Piano L.

I painted all afternoon & sat by Jackies bed all morning & crocheted.

Ray & I stayed up & watched late show

I was off work again.

Jackie was home sick

Ray & Jackie went to Boise

Cloudy most of day - snow flurries. Ivard & I got up at 4:30 A.M & went & took Gail to Glenns Ferry to work for 8:, Ivard was still 2 times out. I was so sleepy Ivard made me go to bed awhile & it was 11: before we woke up & Ivard took me to Hansens Cafe & we had dinner & I left for home at 12:10. It was 1:45 when I got home. I washed 3 batches of cloths & iorned 20 pieces & got cloths put away, got my books up & got supper.

Jackie stayed home from school sick & Ray took her to Boise all afternoon to genelogy library they got home at 6: & Ray went & got Jerry from work. I got supper & we ate when they got home & at 6:20 Jerry, Dean & Dale left for Mutual so Dean could practice Ray went to Melba to Party.

Jackie & I went to bed, shes sick & I dont feel so hot.

Lee & Syble came & stayed all nite

I laid off - don't feel good

Ivard was home all day & nite

Jerry went to work & Kids went to school. I washed some cloths & Ivard & I & Ray played scrabble

Ray went to Boise all day & until 10:30 tonite doing genelogy.

I got supper ready & we took Dale & Jackie up & got their Valentines & got Jerry from work & went to Rail Road & Ivard called G.F, doesn't have to go to work tonite. Came home & ate & Dean did dishes & Jerry cleaned up house. Lenord Rose came & collected Dales Paper Bill for Month.

Lee & Sybil called & found out how to get here. fixed them some thing to eat & we had fire in fire P & visited & watched T.V. until 1:10 AM & went to bed. I don't feel good.

Ivard didn't work today.

I laid off sick.

cloudy - a little Sun. Jerry got up & went on his paper route alone so Ivard had to get up & take Dale on his.

Jerry - Ray - Dean, Dale & Ivard went to Priesthood S.S & Fast meeting & Ivard came home & took Jackie to S.S. & Fast meeting.

I washed some cloths & cooked roast, made angle food cake & cooked carrots & potatoes & cauliflower & made gravy & we ate when they got home at 1:30 had raspberry short cake with frozen berries & icecream read paper & worked on cross W. P. & listened to records.

this afternoon we played Scrabble & at 5: Ivard & I & Jackie went up to Gails & played Penochle. I feel awful. Ivard laid me off came home at 10:30 & went to bed

Ivard came home

Dean went up to Pine Top

took father to "Sound of Music"

Sunny & warm all day got real black tonite & had one real bad flash of lightening & clap of thunder & rain about 6:30.

Ivard came home at 6:30 AM I went up to depot & got him & he went to bed & I changed Kids beds & washed cloths all morning

Jerry went to work & at 9: Ray took Dean up to church to go to Pine Top all day. Ray went & took Dale collecting & had genelogy appointment at noon. At noon Ivard & I droped Dale & Time off at show & Jackie at Gails & we went to Boise to "Sound of Music." I made cake & jello this morning & Ray got Jerry - Jackie & Dale & came home right after we did at 6: & they went & got few groc. & we ate. I went to bed early. Ivard & Ray listened to game.

Ivard called at 8:30, made Nampa turn

cloudy - cool wind. I came home from work, have 2 nites off, & read paper & went to bed until 11: & got up & changed my bed & washed it & 2 or 3 other batches & cleaned my bed room good & my bath room washed walls, wood work & scrubbed & waxed floor & Ray did the same to other bath room & I gave him the money to go get a hair cut. & he got Jerry from work I fixed supper & they ate when they got home.

Dale went collecting awhile, Ray took him.

I went to bed early I was so tired.

Ray got back from Utah

cloudy & cool wind.

I came home from work & went right to bed. & Jerry woke me up when he came home at noon for lunch. Ray went up town & worked on genelogy all day.

Ivard called at 1: & I went & got him & we paid bills & came home & played Scrabble & he ate & at 3:45 we took him back to depot. He was dead heading to Huntington & caught a freight to Nampa.

Dale went collecting after school, Dean took him up & they went & got him at 7: & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Sunny - I came home from work & went to bed at 9:, R.R. called at 11: hunting Gail & woke me up but I went back to sleep then father came right after & woke me again & came to bed. We slept until about 2:30 & Avon lady came so we got up & went to store & I got supper & we ate when Jerry came at 6: & Dean & Dale went to Piano l. & Ivard I played game Scrabble & at 7:40 Jackie & I took him up to catch train for G.F & came home & I went to bed until time to go to work.

I came home from work & Jerry was just leaveing for work. Ray had bath & left for Caldwell for his interview with President Ison at 9:30 then he went to Gails & to Dr & had his physical. got home at 5:

I got 5 new chest of drawers on sale for 15.95. guy woke me up at 11:30 & I never did get back to bed until 6:45. I got supper & we ate at 6: & Jerry, Dean, & Dale left for Mutual & Ray went up & got Gail & they went to Salt Lake on train at 8:30 & Kids brought car home after Mutual.
