hot again today. Jerry got up & left for Boise at 8:30 to see if he gets to go to school, he does, after he went to genelogy library. We came home at 5:
Ray went to work 9: AM had to go pick stuff up, until close
Dale came home from paper route & went back to bed until noon then he tended water & painted.
Dean cleaned his bed room & at noon I took him & Jackie up to take out D.Q. truck.
I listed to records & painted all day. Cooked supper & we ate & Jerry did dishes. At 6:30 I took Dale up to Bishops to Sunday S. party & went to D.Q. & waited for Kids. checked Deans money.
Watched T.V. went to bed early.

I got up & fixed breakfast for everyone & got ready & took Dean up to church to practice organ & I went to Caldwell to Dr. & had treatment, I have to go for treatment 3 times a week now but he said I could go back to work so I called in & they told me to come tonite then at 10:30 p.m they called & laid me off. I went to Gold Strike Center & got Barbra an iorning Caddy for her birthday.
Got Dean & came home at noon he & Jerry went on D.Q. truck. Jerry had roast on & dishes done.
Lyle & all Kids went up to Gails awhile & I got dinner & made Barbra birthday Cake & they came at 3: & we ate & gave Barbra nylons & iorning caddy & lighted cake. they left for home at 4:

Jerry, Dean, Jackie & I went over to Karcher Mall & got groc. Jerry had to check & see if he worked today. We went up town & Dean got some new shoes. Came home & Ray went to Melba to work 10:30 to close he's running it while Weavers are in Utah.
Dean scrubbed & waxed & at noon we took him up to take D.Q truck out.
Ivard called on way through town while we were gone.
I painted all afternoon.

Jerry started work as an extra at new Kinney shoe store in Karcher Mall at noon, came home at 10: P.M.
Ivard called at noon on his way to Huntington had until 4: so we went & got him & took Dean to work on D.Q. truck & we went to new Karcher Mall oppening. Got groc. & Dale got new pr shoes. fixed supper & at 4: took Ivard up to catch train.

I made out an order for Hobbycrafts & Jerry mailed it when him & Dean went up to Dr. Lees to see about genelogy. Jerry went & got Dean from D.Q. first & he came home & ate & got ready.

I got up & had bath & went to Caldwell to Dr. at 9:, he gave me a Diathermy treatment, hasn't released me yet. Went out to Simplots & got my check & I signed up for compensation then we headed for La Grande at 10:30. There was Ivard & I, Ray, Dale & Jackie. We got up to Lyles about 1: & had lunch & visited. Lyle got afternoon off & we went up canyon & took our supper. Went to "Catherine Creek" camp ground. I gathered some pine cones & rocks for rock garden. We played Penocle & ate supper. It really rained on us for awhile but we were under threes & didn't get wet. real nice. We got back to Lyles at 9: & got Kids to bed & we played Penocle & had watermellon. Went to bed at midnite.

stormy - rained hard two or three times. We got up & Ruth & Kids went to Sunday school. Ray came home from Priesthood & we ate breakfast & at 10: A.M we left for home. I drove from Snowville to Eden. We stoped at Bliss & got gas & ate. It really rained on us 2 or 3 times couldn't even see white line. We got home at 6: & I washed some cloths.

We got up at 7:30 & ate breakfast with Irvin & he went over to store & we sat & visited with Ruth until 11:30 then we went over to Louies for couple of hrs. & had lunch then we went & saw Alv. & Pearl. went up to Kays awhile & they took us through all the new houses in her mothers subdivision. Dean & Donna came & saw us awhile. We told Kay good-bye & went up to Ruth & Rays at 6: & had supper & visited all evening.

We got up & had breakfast & I copies some genelogy from Mother & got packed. We had dinner then Ken took us all up canyon & they played ball then Ken drove us around showing us the new homes in Toolle. We left Bernieces at 5: & stoped at A.W & had our supper & it rained on us & thunder storm in. stoped at Kays few min. & went up to Ruth & Rays but they weren't home so we went down to Irvins & got ready & went up to 4th Stake House. to Marv's girl Janice's reception. real nice, had orchestra. got to visit with lot of family Annie & Bud, Donna, Louie ect. We went back to Irvins at 11:30 & visited & watched late show & went to bed.

We got up & went up to Kays & had breakfast & Kids played with claudias sister & brother & tended little Ivard while Claudia went & had her hair fixed & Ivard & I went up to Ruth & Rays & saw Kids & phoned Mother. Kay went to work at 8:30 until noon. Ivard went & got battery charged & had to get new generator, guy wouldn't take check so he came & got me & we went down to Irvins & cashed a check. We left for Toolle at 11:30 & stoped in Salt L. at "Dees" & had lunch. We got out to Bernieces about 1: & visited.
We got ready & at 4:30 Ivard & I & Mother left for Provo. We met Claudia at 6: & went to George Albert Smith Field House & got a good seat for Kays graduation at 7:30, he was one of 983 graduates. He graduated from school of Business. We took Kay, Claudia & Mother to supper after at [blank]. We went back to Bernieces & stayed all nite. 2 AM.

I went to Caldwell to Dr. & had treatment & he said I can go to Utah. washed cloths & iorned at 6: AM & had bath, went to Dr. at 9: got packed & Jackie & I went to Andree & I had hair cut & tint & Jackie had cut & shampoo. We ate lunch & Ivard & I, Dale & Jackie left for Utah for Kays graduation. I drove for part of way. We stoped in Paul & had supper. We got down to Kays in Bountiful at 9:30. He doesn't have any furniture so Dale & Jackie slept in sleeping bags on Kays floor & Ivard & I went to Parkins "Dream-land" Cabins & got cabin, sure crappy. We had to borrow Kays car, couldn't start ours again.

Came home & at 10:30 Ray took me over to Irene Johnsons to Paint meeting & he never came after me until 3:30. He went to the store & got groc. & fixed supper.
Dean had to go to Stake House at 8: to be in Theme presentation, Jerry took him.
At 11:30 when Kids came home Jerry & Dean went with me to Kuna to pick up Ivard. rode home with some guy. at 6: Ivard called on way to G.F from Huntington & Jackie & I went up & stayed while he ate at "Hong Kong" then got Dean from D.q on way home.

Ivard had bath & ate & read paper & we took him back up to R.R. at 8:30 on our way to Caldwell to Dr. had another diathermy Treatment & he checked me again, I have to go next week too. Came home & got dinner & at 11:30 Jerry & Ray took Dean up to take out D.q truck. Ray didn't work today.

Kids never did come home until Dean got through at 7:30. Jerry went to work at Smilies at 5: till close Ray took his razor up then we watched T.V. & Dean went & got Jerry at 11:30.

I got up & got ready & Jerry & Jackie took me to Caldwell for Diathermy treatment at 9: AM We droped Dean off at church to practice organ. We stoped at Pennies on way home & got Jackie 3 new dresses for school came home & Gail was here Dale went collecting & got stuff to go to Idaho City to Fathers & Sons outing. At 2: Ray took me to Dr. Hay, droped Dale & Paul of at Hills to go to Idaho City to Fathers & Sons outing. I gained 6 1/2 lbs lawaying around all week. Ray went to Dr. Hay, too, & he has hemorids.
Dean went on D.q. truck at noon & walked home at dark because Jerry & Ray & Alice Gould went to Boise to show, they came home about 10:30 & played piano & records & showed Alice the house. I was in bed I painted my Tri Chem awhile & checked Deans D.q change. Ray laid off
Ray went to Dr. Hay
Sunny & cool 48º last nite.
I got up & got ready & Jerry & Jackie took me to Caldwell for Diathermy treatment at 9: AM We droped Dean off at church to practice organ. We stoped at Pennies on way home & got Jackie 3 new dresses for school came home & Gail was here Dale went collecting & got stuff to go to Idaho City to Fathers & Sons outing. At 2: Ray took me to Dr. Hay, droped Dale & Paul of at Hills to go to Idaho City to Fathers & Sons outing. I gained 6 1/2 lbs lawaying around all week. Ray went to Dr. Hay, too, & he has hemorids.
Dean went on D.q. truck at noon & walked home at dark because Jerry & Ray & Alice Gould went to Boise to show, they came home about 10:30 & played piano & records & showed Alice the house. I was in bed I painted my Tri Chem awhile & checked Deans D.q change. Ray laid off

cool & real cloudy & rained on & off all day, real hard.
Jerry & Jackie took me to Caldwell to have my diathermy treatment at 9: AM, roped Dean off at church to practice organ. came home & Jerry took Ray to Melba to work 11:30 to close. too stormy for D.Q. truck so Jerry & Dean went to Boise to genelogy library until 6: I painted on animal quilt blocks all afternoon. I made cake, angle food, & fixed peaches & sandwiches for supper
Jerry went to Yorgensens to Party but it was too cold so he came home. Jackie & I walked over to Benders at 8: to a Stork shower on her. we came home about 10:30 & went to bed. cold.

Ivard took me to Caldwell to Dr at 9:, we droped Dean off at church to practice organ. Jerry went to Mary Carter Painte to see about Job on way home. We got in blockade on way to Caldwell so when we came back Ivard got him a drivers licence, stoped at stand & got some peaches, watermellon, cantalope ect.
Came home & ate & I took Ivard up to catch train at noon for Glenns Ferry & came home and Jerry & Dean went to Boise again to genelogy libray until 5:, too stormy for Dean to work, took Dale & when they came home took Dale up to church to Priesthood Party.

Jerry & Kids took me to Caldwell to Dr. Jensen at 9: & I had a diathermy treatment.
Ray went to Melba 11: to close, Jerry took him out.
I painted all day of tri-chem
At noon Jerry took Dean, looked cloudy so he didn't take D.Q truck out, & they went to Boise to genelogy library all day & half the nite. got a lot of stuff.
Ivard called at 8: to come & get him & no car was here so he walked & never got here until 10: P.M.
Kids came about 10:30
Kay called to see if we were comeing down to his graduation Aug 19th.

hot Dean, Ray, Jerry & Dale went to Priesthood & Dean came home & took Jackie to sunday school. I feel awful & by 10:30 I was in such pain I couldn't stand it so I called Vanda & she called Nora & they told me to get ahold of a Co. Dr in Caldwell. I finally got Dr Jensen & he said to come right over to emergancy ward at hospital so I called church & had Jerry come right home & he took me over, said I had badly pulled my leg muscles. game me some pills to relax my muscles & some pain pills & I came home & had to lay with heat pad on right leg & ice packs on bruise
Edith brought Kids home from church. Jerry & Ray went out to Melba & opened "Smilies" at 3:45 & Ray left at 6:30 & went to Weaver boys farewell & Jerry worked alone until close. Dean went out & got him after church, Dean & Dale & Ray went to church

Jerry took A.C.T test. I got hurt at work
hot. I got hurt at work at 3: AM steped across track & my other foot slipped on cardboard & I did splits, wrenched my right leg mussles & back & I have a black bruse. 8 in. long & 6 in. wide on inside of left leg & around back just above knee. Ivard got home at 7: A.M, Jerry went & got him & went to Caldwell & took A.C.T. Test & was supposed to be home at 11:30 to take Ivard back up to catch train. He got home at 12:45 & Ivard called & train was just pulling in so they dashed up. I laid down most of day & kept ice packs on my bruise. It sure is awful, I'm sure in missery. Plant is down tonite.

hot. I came home from work & Kids were all ready to leave, Dean & Jackie had to be at dentist at 9: Dean had his checked & Jackie had 3 teeth filled. Ray got paid & went to bank & Jerry put some money in bank for me.
They came home at 11: & took Ray to Melba & at noon Jerry took Dean up to take D.Q. truck & Jackie went with him on truck. Dale went to Hoggs.
I woke up at 1: & got up & changed Jackies bed & washed 4 batches cloths, made rice pudding for breakfast & got supper. Jerry worked on genelogy & watered lawn & went & got some milk. He went after Kids at 5:30 & went to bank. I went to bed until time to go to work.

We stoped in town, on way from work, & cashed our checks & got few groc. Came home & went to bed at 9:30.
Jerry took Ray to Melba 11:30 to close, & Dean up to do D.Q. truck. he tended Sis & painted & watered
I woke up at 2: & made no cook raspberry jam & made out my first Tri chem order. Dale went collecting.
Jackie is a lot better today, Dale is croupy & Jerry doesn't feel good. We ate at 6: & Dale cut lawn & Jerry did dishes.
Jerry went & got Dean at 8: & I checked his money & went to bed until time to go to work. Jerry went & got Ivards glasses at 5: & Ray took them up to depot at midnite, he called on his way through

I came home from work & Ivard was home & sleeping with Jackie, she still has a feaver. I went right to bed & woke up at 2:30 with Splitting head ache. We got up & Ivard took car up to Wards, had to have new valve. He got put on brakeman board at Glenns Ferry.
Jerry took Ray to Melba after Dean & Dale got home from piano l. & Dean went to D.q.
Jerry got supper, made jello cake, meat loaf, punch, veg
Dale went away all afternoon.
We ate & Jerry did dishes. Ivard left for G.F. at 8: with some guys. Jerry went & got Dean I did his money & went to bed until time to go to work

I came home from work & Ivard was already home & in bed. I went to bed and got up about noon and messed around all day & read my tri chem information
Jerry took Ray to Melba to work & Dean up to take out D.Q. truck. Ivard took car up, one new tire keeps going flat, they were too busy today.
Jerry fixed supper & I made a salad & we ate. Dean came in about 6: then Jerry took him up to church to Practice organ, no Mutual
Dale did dishes & scrubbed & waxed floors. Ivard & I went to bed until time to go to work.

I came home from work & went right to bed & they woke me up at 2: when they came from church. Ivard, Jerry, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S. & Fast meeting. Jackie went to S.S. with Gary Weaver when he came & took Ray to work at Smilies in Nampa at 10:
I made stuffed peppers for dinner & tomato gravy & cabbage celery, carrot & pepper salad & Dean fixed Inst potatoes & frozen peas & Jerry made punch. We ate at 3:30 & Jerry & Dean went over to Owyhee ward to see Emma Hendricks about genelogy. Ivard did dishes & I washed couple batches of cloths. I had bath & went to bed at 7: went to work at 11: Ivards nite off.
