cloudy & windy - hailed - not too warm.

Jerry took Dale on his paper route & Jerry - Ray - Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & Sunday S. They came home & Jerry fixed dinner. Ray had nap after we ate & I washed my hair & Jerry, Dean, Dale & Jackies. at 3:45 we all roe up to take Jerry at work at D.q. 4: to close.

Came home & Gail & family came & visited until 6:30.

I crocheted 3 madallions on my table cloth.

Ray, Dean & Dale went to church & Jackie & I went to bed at 7:

Ivard got bumped out of Nampa & went to Glenns Ferry

rained, hard wind most of day & cold. Jerry & Ray came home at 3:30 AM & woke me up then Dale got me up to go on paper route. Came home & went back to bed. Ivard got home at 7:30 & came to bed. I got up & washed some cloths. Dean did up work.

Ivard got bumped at 10:30 so we rode up & he marked up at Glenns Ferry on 4: job. Got my medecine & stoped at old place & got a few things we'd left. Came home & fixed Ivard something to eat & he left at 2:30 for G.F. Jerry, Dean & I played Scrabble Dean took Jerry & Ray to work at D.q 5:30 to close. Dale had boy friend here all afternoon. got books up.

Dale payed our way to Elders supper at church, $3. . Me - Dean, Dale & Jackie. we took Jello salad & they served ham & beans & corn bread & punch & different salads. Came home at 8:30 & went to bed. My nite off

Got letter from Barbra

sunny & cool.

I came home from work & Ivard was home & in bed. I went right to bed. woke up at noon so we got up and I washed some cloths. Ivard went in to Don Borens & had oil change & grease job & new filter on DeSoto & he washed it. Ray went to store & got some eggs & came home & made deviled eggs for supper & a angle food cake & had strawberry short cake. I made a spring salad & Jerry made barbacue & we ate when Kids got home Jerry & Ray went to work at 5:30 & never got home until 3:30 A.M. went to Evelyn Elmores to party after close. Ivard & I planed Scrabble & he listened to ball game. Dale & I went up to D.q & got letter from Lyle, Kids got at P.O. Came home & I went to bed at 8:30. Ivard went to work at 11:15. My nite off

Sunny but not too warm

I came home from work & Ivard was home & in bed. I read paper & went to bed at 9:

Jerry was to the dentist, he came home before I went to bed. he went to work at 11:30 to 6: Ray got up & went to town, got home about 2:30.

Phone & tax assor woke us up at 1: but we never got up until 2: Ivard massaged my back good

Ivard went to town & got hair cut & I cooked supper. We ate at 5: then Ivard & I took Ray to work 5:30 to close & Dale to clean yard & collect for his paper. Sis came home from Primary while we were gone came home & went to bed. I went to work at 11: & Ivard went about 11:15. He went home teaching.

Wednesday, February 24, 1965

Ivard got bumped off brakeman board. went switching

sunny but cool breeze. I got up late & washed 2 or 3 batches of cloths & iorned most of day afternoon got it all done up, 43 piece.

Ivard finished putting the wood pannel wall, mahogony, in Jerrys & Deans room then he went up town & took back the plywood he got for the one utility room wall & ordered some like the Kids & they delivered it but he never got home until 4:30, went at 12:, then he put it up & put a wall up in fruit end under stairs.

Jerry wored 10: to 6: & Ray went 5:30 to close. I fixed supper & we ate & Dale & Dean went to Piano lesson & Jerry went to Boise to Institute. Ivard & I had bath & went to bed & I left for work at 11: & he left for 11:30.

got letter from Gene
Mailed Gene letter & his money.

nice day but cool.

My leg hurt but not as bad

Jerry went to work 6: to close: I made jello salad & Ivard & Ray went up town to by 3/4 in plywood board to put under my mattress for my sore leg & came home with enough walnut paneling for the inside wall & Jerrys bed room & Ivard got it put up. I washed cloths & cleaned my bed room good, Ivard & Ray & Jerry helped me move every thing & made my bed up with board in. We ate & Ray took Jerry to work & got Sis from dance lesson. Dean dashed her in. I wrote to Gene & they mailed it.

Ray laid off & me again & Ivard didn't work.

Ray had a tri-chem Party & we Painted a quilt block.

Monday, February 22, 1965

I came home from work & went to bed, after I read Paper. Kids didn't have to go to school today & Ivard didn't work. Jerry worked 10: to 6: & Ray 5:30 to close I didn't get much sleep, couple of hrs, too noisy & my leg hurt so bad.

I got up about 1: & Ivard & I played Scrabble

Ray & Dean made cookies & cleaned up. Jackie & Dale went away to play & Jackie came home with her hands froze.

My legs hurt so bad Ivard called up & laid me off. We watched T.V. awhile & went to bed.

Ivard went to didn't work today.

Sunday, February 21, 1965

27 º when I came from work, cloudy most of day. I went right to bed & read paper. Ivard, Jerry - Ray - Dean & Dale went to Priesthood then Ivard took Jerry to open D.q 10: to 5: & came home & got Sis & they went to Sunday S. they came home at 12:30 & Kids fixed dinner & they ate & Jackie went over to Crocketts to play, they brought her home.

I woke up at 3: when Ivard to called to work for Wilder. I got up at 4: & ate & washed 2 batches of cloths Dean, Dale & Jackie took Ray to work at 5: & Dale cleaned yard & they got gas & brought Jerry home.

Kids went to church. Ivard got home about 5: but didn't go. I went to bed until time to go to work.

Saturday, February 20, 1965

27 º when I came from work & real bad ground fog - Sunny & nice all day.

Tom Williams was here with bulldozer & leveled up yard.

Changed beds & I sorted cloths & started the wash & Jerry washed. I went to bed at 10: & was still awak at 10:40. slept until 1: & got up & finished makeing big Kettle of chilli; Ray made blue berry muffins & Jerry made cherry up side down cake for supper.

Ivard went to work at 6:30 AM after he took Dale on his paper route

Jerry & Dean went up & had hair cut & Kids cleaned up house.

Dale went to new Kids in ward to Terrys to play & got home after we ate. I went to bed about 5:30 & Ivard got home soon after. Ray went to work 6: to close, Dean took him & Ray went & got him.

Jerry & Dean went over to Owyhee Ward to Barton girls reception I passed them out here in lane on my way to work. 

Friday, February 19, 1965

Sunny nice day, cold in nite. I came home from work & ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. Ivard got home at 5:30 AM & was in bed. I got up at 1:, Ivard was already up, & Jerry & I went up town & took cleaning, bought $40. worthy of groc. & 9 worth cloths on sale for Jackie 2 pr. levies, Sweats, shirt, 6 pr panties, skirt & pajamas & robe. Ordered the play room drapes $66. Came home at 4: & hurried & fixed supper & we ate & Jerry & Ray went to work at D.Q. 5:30 to close. Dale went collecting for his paper & cleaned D.q. yd & got flat tire on bike & Jerry had to bring him home. Ivard & Jackie went to Caldwell to basketball game & I went to bed.

Dean scrubbed & waxed floors

They brought new Air way Vacum lawn mower & steel Kettles.

I went to work at 11 - Ivard didn't work.

Thursday, February 18, 1965

Sunny nice day.

I came home from work & went right to bed & read paper. I never got up until 3: then I washed cloths, 7 batches & iorned 23 pieces cooked potatoes & made salad & got supper.

Jerry worked 11:30 to 6: & Ray went 5:30 to close.

Jackie got home from Primary after we ate.

Jerry & Dean went home teaching & we had home home teachers. Dale went to work with Ray & cleaned yard & went to ball game. Jerry went & got him at 9:30.

Ivard got called to work & had to ride the nike.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

sunny & nice today

I came home from work & washed 2 batches of cloths & read paper & ate & Ivard got up & we got ready & went to Boise to Northwest Housewares, they called us in adv. programe & we got a carving set for going. We bought a vacuum for $299. & they gave us $600. worth of stuff free, lawn mower & set of Stainless steal Kettles. Came to Nampa & Pd on Penny laway & got cow feed came home at 12:30 & went to bed. Ivard went up to old place & got steel trough & Put mail box up.

Jerry & Ray went up town at 9:30 & Jerry went to work at 11:30 & Ray went to Gails came home at 3: He went to work at 5:30 & Jerry came home at 6:15. Jackie went to Pooleys after school & Ivard went & got her after we ate, she ate there.

Dean got supper & him & Dale went to Piano L. Ivard did dishes & I went to bed. went to work at 11:

Cloudy when I came home from work. I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30 & never woke up until 3:45.

Ivard was gone to work when I got home.

Ray went to work at D.q at 11: for Edith & came home at 4:45 & Jackie & I went to dancing dropped Jerry off & he was going to read until time to work at 6:. Jerry fixed supper.

We came home at 6:15 & I got my books up.

Ray walked to work at 6:30 had to be there at 7: Looslies came & took Kids to Mutual & I went to bed at 7:

Ivard got home about 7:, he went & got Kids at midnite.

Dean got letter from Gene

cloudy & breezy. I came home from work, passed Ivard on his way to work on Boise local, Jerry took him & brught check back. I figured it out & got ready & we went to town & pd. our first payment on place, $142. & it all went to Int., pd fuel oil, lites, phone & on 90 day drape chg. & got my front room drapes. stoped at D.Q. & let Jerry off to work at 11:30. Came home & did batch of cloths & fixed my books & went to bed at 12:30. Ray woke me up at 4: & I had to go get Ivard then he droped me off at Dr., lost another 3 lbs. Ivard went & pd. Don Boren & came back & got me & we came home & ate & ray went to work at D.Q. & Jerry came home & him & Dean went to type class. I went to bed until time to go to work. Ivard & Jackie went up to R.R. credit union.

nice. Ray & Gails family went to LeGrande to see Lyle

Ivard got up & took Dale on Paper route then went to work. Jerrys day off him, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S. & Jerry came home & took Jackie

I roasted a turkey & made jello & got dinner ready for 2:

Ivard came at 1: & it wasn't ready so he went back (factory job) he got home about 4: I washed my & Jackies hair.

I had a bath & went to bed at 7: until time to go to work.

Ivard - Jackie - Jerry, Dean & Dale went to church.

I left for work at 11:30.

Ray got back to work at D.q late, called & told us about Lyles baby.

Lyle had his 6th boy

Dale went on paper route & came home & cleaned front room hall, bathroom & did dishes. Ivard left for Emmett at 6: AM

Jerry fixed Dean a lunch while he got ready & took him up to H.S. at 7: to debate all day at Boise then went back to bed. I got up at 9:30 & ate & worked on books then I washed some cloths.

Ivard came home & we played Scrabble & ate.

Dale went to his boy friends & cleaned D.q. yard.

Jerry & Ray worked at D.q. 5:30 to 6:

Ivard & I went to store & went to Gails to get Jackie but they weren't home. went to D.q. to get Dean & they said Sis was up bowling with Gail so we sent & got her. Came home & had fire in fire place & watched T.V. Ray stayed to Gails tonite, nite off.

Friday, February 12, 1965

Cold - cloudy sunny

I came home from work, my legs hurt so bad, heat rash all groin & on my stomach. I called Dr & he called me in a prescription to drug store. I ate, read paper & went to bed until noon & Jerry got me up to go get medecine & I bought $48. worth of groc.

Ivard went to Emmett at 6: AM & got home at 7: P.M.

We ate & Dean did dishes & went with Jerry & Ray to work at 6: & went to ball game. Jackie went over to Looslies until dark to play. I washed 3 batches of cloth & hemed Jackies dress. Dale made some valentine cookies. Gail came a min. then went over to his place. Jackie stayed all nite. We came home at 10:30 & stoped at D.Q. & brought Jerry & Dean home. My nite off.

18º when I came home from work. Ivard was home & in bed, got home at 2:30 AM. I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30. Jerry & Ray were still in bed.

I woke up at 3: & fixed valentines for Mother - Lyle & Kay. Sent Mother $10. & wrote to Lyle. Jerry didn't work today he cooked supper & we ate when Kids came from school. We just finished when Jackie came from Primary. Ray went to work at 5:30 & Ivard & Kids went up town & got car gased up & oil.

I went to bed until time to go to work at 11:

Sunny cloudy - cold - windy - snow flurries. I came home from work & washed 3 batches of cloths, ate & read paper. Jerry got up & left for work at 11: I went to bed at 11:45 & Ray was still in bed. I wrote Gene while I was doing cloths. Ray did up dishes & cleaned up house & woke me up at 2:30 & we went to school & got Jackie & took her & had Andice cut her hair. went to drug store & got Cupex & came home & did her hair for bugs & shampooed it & she had a bath. We ate supper & Ray went to work at 5:30, Dean took him & him & Dale went to Piano lesson. Jerry came home & got ready & went to Boise to Institute of religion

I came home from work & ate & read paper & was just going to work bed when Ivard got called to McCall for 10: He was in bed, had taken Dale on paper route, so he got up & bathed & I cooked his breakfast & at 9:45 Jerry took him & stayed in town & went to work at D.Q. 11:30 to 6: I went to bed & got up at 3:

Ray went after mail & cleaned up house & made pudding for supper & did up dishes.

Jackie came at 3:30 & we went to dancing at 4:45, droped Ray off at D.Q. to work 5:30 to close. After dancing we picked Jerry up & came home & Dean had supper ready & we ate & Jerry took Dean & Dale to Mutual. I went to bed at 7: & Jackie fixed her Valentines. I went to work at 11:

Cloudy & cool. snowed a little

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed at 9:30, Ivard was asleep, he'd taken Dale on his route. I woke up at 1: & Ivard had gone & got the 4 stools for breakfast bar, in Carton, & him & Ray put them together. I cooked them waffles for lunch.

Jerry went to work at D.Q. 10 to 6:

I went back to bed & stayed there until time to go to work. Dean fixed supper when he came home. Ray went to work at 5:30 to close. Jerry & Dean had just left for typeing class at 7: when Ivard got called on Boise local so I called Ray & he dashed home & took him then he went & got him at 2: AM.

sunny but cool. Ivard got up & took Dale on his Paper route & came back to bed. I woke up & read paper in bed.

Ivard - Dean & Dale went to Priesthood, S.S. & testimony meeting. Jerry took Jackie to S.S. on his way to work 10: to 5: I washed 4 batches of cloths & cleaned up. Ray & I made banna pudding & I fixed goulash for dinner.

Helen Kotter came to see house, stayed about hr. We ate dinner & at 3: we all took Dale up to church to go collect fast offerings. Went to Gails but he wasn't home. Came home & they came & got Dean to help on fast offerings. Ivard made fire in fire place & we played Scrabble. Ray was supposed to go to work at 5: but laid off sick. I had bath & went to bed at 7:30. We went to work at 11:30. Ivard didn't work.

Jerry got up & took Dale on his paper route then about 9:30 him & Dean took him to collect for his paper route.

I changed all the beds & washed 9 batches & iorned all day in between 71 pieces. I never got through until 7:

Jerry - Ray - Dean cleaned up house & they had waffles for supper.

Ivard came about 7: & got ready & He & I went to see "Cleopatra" at Pix stoped by D.Q. at midnite & ate.

Jerry & Ray worked 6: to close, got home right after we did.

I was dead. My nite off.

I came home from work & went to bed. Jerry woke me up at 11: & he & I & Ray went to Caldwell & Put my dimes in bank & some in Kids then we went & got groc. & came back to Nampa & Pd a bill or two. Came home & fixed supper & ate & Jerry & Ray went to work at D.Q. 5:30 to close. Dale went collecting on his paper route.

I went to bed at 6: & about 7:30 Dean woke me up & I went to D.Q. & got Dale & his bike after he cleaned yd, came home & went back to bed. I was so tired. My nite off.

Ivard went to New Medows gone when I got home from work.

Got letter from Kay.

little warmer. I came home from work & Ivard was home in bed. I was so tired I went right to bed. They woke me up at 11:30 so I got up. I made some ice tea & when Ivard came from town, at 12:30 we played Scrabble. Jerry wrote letters & read book.

Jerry fixed supper & we ate before Jackie came from Primary. Ray went to work at 5:30 & Dale went collecting for his paper. Jerry was supposed to go to nite school but they canceled it so he went visiting & brought Ray home after work.

Ivard watched T.V. & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Ivard woke me up at 11:15 for some money he went to work on Marshing local Ray took him & Jerry. Jerry went to work at D.Q. 11:30 to 6: I got up & washed 3 batches of cloths & made me some tea & worked on my books. Ray came at 1:30

Sunny & warmer. I came home from work & read paper & went to bed. Ivard had just got home at 8: & gone to bed. Jerry & Ray went up town on business then Jerry went to work at D.Q. 11:30 to 6: & Ray came home. I got up at 3:30 & Jackie came home & we made porkie pine babies & got on to cook & Ivard & I took Jackie & droped her off at dancing & we went up town & I.D. had some new material in & we ordered front room drape & I bought 6 towels to put on arms & back of davenport & chair. Went to Hales & ordered 4 stools for snack bar & they gave me a velvet pillow got Sis & Jerry & came home & ate & Jerry went to Boise to Tupper ware P. with Edith & Ivard & Jackie took Dean & Dale to Mutual & came home & went to bed. Ivard didn't work today Ray went 6: to close. I went to bed at 8: till time to go to work.

got dodge fixed.

Cold & frosty this morning but Sunny & warmer today. I came home half froze & went right to bed & Ivard got me up at 11:00 & I figured out his check, he went & got at 8:30 when he went to Dobbs to see how Dodge was they came & towed it in just as I got home. They had it fixed by 11: We took Jerry to work at D.Q. 11:30 to 6: & went & Paid bills & I started Gene a $10. Savings account for his birthday. Went to Hales & bought 4 easy chairs on sale. Got Dode & stoped at D.Q. & had lunch  & came home & I worked on books & at ate supper & 3:30 I went to Dr. lost another 5 lbs. went to D.Q. at 6: & picked up Dean & Dale & Jerry up & we came home & Jerry & Dean left for their type class at 7: (early) We ate & Ivard left for work at 7: on Boise local & I went to bed until time to go to work. Ray went to work 6: to close.
