cloudy & cold

Kids went to school & I fixed Rays lunch & Jerry took him to work.

I crocheted - washed cloths & iorned.

Ivard didn't come home for Pay day.

I took Jerry to work for lunch hr. then he got supper.

Me & Dean & Jackie took Krisine some material for a dress for her birthday then we went over to Forsgrens & got Patty & she stayed all nite.

Ray came home from work & got ready & went to show with odney

Dale went collecting & cleaned D.q yard.

Thursday, April 29, 1965

stormy - hailed - cloud burst. Got up & took Dale on paper route Kids went to school. I made Rays lunch & Jerry took him to work. Crocheted & washed some cloths. I took Jerry to work at 10: to 6: & went up town & got Jackies dance costume material & crochet thread & stoped at D.q & had banna split. Came home & went to Johnsons to my last class stamped my baby quilt. It really thundered & lightened & hailed & cloud burst for little while. I came home at 4:30 & fixed supper & went after Jerry & Dean at 6: Dean worked at D.q after school then he went back at 9: for couple of hrs. Jerry took him.

Dale went collecting after school. Jackie went to Primary

Ray worked late.

Jerry got letter from Gene

Got lawn all Planted.

stormy in evening, hot. rained this evening.

I made Rays lunch & took him to work at 8: took Dale on Paper route, cold & stormy. I crocheted awhile.

I took Jerry to work at 9:45 to 6: I had banna split, first day of their sale, went to Caldwell & drew $20 out of Dean & Jackies account, for lawn seed & signed up for unemployment. came home & washed some cloths & at 1: I went over to Johnsons to leaders meeting all afternoon. I got my graduation from the 5 paint classes I took. came home at 4:30 & fixed supper. Dean worked at D.q. after school until 6: & I went & got him & Jerry & we ate & Dean & Dale went to Piano lessons & Jerry & Ray went to Boise to Institute with Rodney. When Kids got home from Piaono Lessons I took them to D.q. & bought them a banna split & came home & went to bed.

Tuesday, April 27, 1965

nice day

I got up & made Ray a double lunch & took him to work, he worked until 10: again tonite. I washed cloths & Ivard helped Mr Rutledge finish hauling manure on lawn & got a guy to bring top soil.

Jerry went up town on business & droped me off to Relief Society & I came home with Margo. we I went to bank to cover back check & went to relief Society. Jerry planted flowers & got supper.

Dean went to work at D.q after school. I took Jerry to work when I took Jackie to dancing & picked Dean up on the way home. I took Dean & Dale to Mutual & came home & watched T.V. awhile & went to bed. Ivard went back to Glenns F. to float on his day off.

Monday, April 26, 1965

took calves to Pasture

Kids went to school & I washed cloths & crocheted. Ivard got home for his day off about 1:30 AM. I made Rays lunch & he went to work at 8: in red car.

Ivard borrowed neighbors pick-up & went & got a trailer & we took our 2 calves to Pasture then we took trailer back & got some crochet thread. I took Jerry to work 11:30 to 6:

Dean didn't come after school missed bus so I got supper & went & got him & Jerry at 6: & we ate & Ivard & I took Jerry & Dean to type class & went to M&W & got roses & shrubbs to Plant, Dale got $7. work. we got a few more groc & came home. Ray had to work until 9:30. We went & got Kids after type & took Jerry to work at D.q, had to work 9: till close. We came home & went to bed.

sunny - cloudy breezy - nice

Dale never woke up until 6: & I took him on Paper route. Came home & went to bed & read paper. Dean & Dale went to Priesthood & Sunday school & Dean came home & took Jackie to S.S. Ray don't work today & Jerry not until 5: so at 9:15 Rodney came & got them & they went to Boise to West Boise Stake Conference. I made jello & meat loag & washed 2 batches cloths & washed my hair & crocheted. Kids came at 12:20 & we ate & Dean did dishes & Dale Practiced. I crocheted. Jerry called at 3: & said they got turned away from conference, too many, so they went to Bogus Basin & they had car trouble to to get Edith until they got home so I sent Dale over with a note. We went to church & after went by D.q. & Jerry & Ray had just got there. We followed Ray & Rodney home. & went to bed.

Dale went on paper route & I woke up when he came home & read paper & made hot cakes for Kids.

Kids did their work & Dale & I played Scrabble & Jerry & Dean went up town. Jerry I ttok Ray to work after I made his lunch.

I got books up & wrote to Gene this afternoon & Jerry & Dean worked in flower bed. Dale went to Hoaggs to play. I wrote to Kay too.

Jerry fixed supper & we ate & Dean did dishes & Ray had a nap & got up & bathed & went to work at 8: at D.q I took him & mailed my letters. Ray got home from Ferdands at 5:10 tonite. Dale got home at 6: & Sis didn't come in for supper so I sent her to bed.

Jerry didn't work tonite, went to Boise to dance with Rodney. I watched T.V. util 1: went & got Ray at 12: Dale went to show with Hoaggs. Got home at 1:

Ivard went back to Glenns F. to work, at midnite.

Sunny & nice today breezy.

I got up & made Kids lunches & Kids went to school & Jerry took Ray to work then then at 9:15 Ivard & I took Jerry to work at D.q & went & got them some bannas & Ivard went to R.R. & marked up on midnite job, got bumped. We went to bank& got Genes check to send him. Came home & went over to Bixbys & borrowed his Pickup to take calves to Pasture but it stoped on us in front of Looslies, radiator broke so Ivard walked home & called him & he came & got it & we didn't take calves today We went to D.q & had lunch. Came home & Ivard had nap & I washed 2 batches of cloths & iorned my & Ivards cloths 10 pieces. Got supper & we ate when Kids came & we went after Jerry & Jackie cleaned yd. for Dale, came home & Jerry & Dean took Ray to hospital to see Judy then to work at D.q at 7:30 & they went to Stake House to Concert. Ivard, Dale & I played Scrabble. Ivard left for G. F. at 7:30 to work at midnite.

Thursday, April 22, 1965

Had first family evening.

took Jackie to Dr.

stormy, rained most of day. & tonite. Jerry took Dale on paper route. I got up & made lunches & took Ray went to work in car. Ivard took Jackie to school then at 11:30 took Jerry to work at D.q.

I didn't get much done today crocheted all morning & Ivard & I played Scrabble & had lunch & went to bed awhile.

At 3: I picked Jackie up at school & took her to Dr. McAntyre & had physical she has a fungas on her vergina.

Came home & cooked real nice hambergers & made salad & we ate when Kids came at 7:30. Ray had hair cut & brought Jerry home. We had fire in fire place & had our first family evening, out of book. I served strawberry short cake after. Went to bed at 10:30. raining. Dale went collecting.

Ivard came home for 2 days off

Jeffy was 6 today.

rained during nite & all morning. Ivard got home from G. F. at 2: A.M. I got up & made lunches & took Ray to work. It cleared up & Ivard helped guy haul manure on lawn from 10: until 4:50. I washed all of Ivards cloths up & Jerrys bed & iorned all of Ray & Dales cloths. took Jerry to work 11: to 6: then went up town at 2:30 to sign for unemployment & got few groc. cooked a roast & beet greens & got supper & we ate after we went & got Ray & Jerry from work at 6:.

Ray & Jerry went to Boise to Institute with Rodney & Dean & Dale went to Hurrens to Piano lessons at 7: Ivard & Jackie did dishes & when Dean & Dale came at 8:30 we went up to Gail awhile & took Jeff birthday Presnet. Came home & went to bed.

Tuesday, April 20, 1965

cloudy most all day but warm real windy early. I got up at 4:15 A.M & took Dale on paper route. Came home at 5:30 & went to bed until 6:30 & got up & made a lunch for Ray, Dale & Jackie & Kids went to school & I took Ray out to Ferdands to work. I came home & crocheted until 9:30 & got ready & went to relief society, had to give closeing prayer. went & pd phone, car Ins & Don Boren after & came home & Jerry & I had lunch, he painted his table cloths all morning, & we went over to Bosworths & ordered some flowers. I droped him off at corner & went out to Johnsons to Tri-Chem class, raced the patterns for baby quilt Came home at 4:10 & Jerry had supper & we ate & Jerry took Jackie & I to dancing then took Dale to get some school stuff & clean D.q. yard then came & got me & I took him back to work at D.q. 6: to close then I went & got Jackie & we came home & got Dean & took them to Mutual. Ray came home & bathed & went up town. I went to bed early.

real cloudy all day, windy

Kids didn't have to go to school easter vacation. I fixed Rays lunch & Jerry & Kids took him to work then Jerry & Dean painted all morning. I crocheted & washed some cloths. Dale cleaned hall & bed rooms, vacumed & at 1: he went to Hoags to play until 5:

Gail droped Debbie & Kristine off to play all afternoon.

Dean made cookies for lunches. I went to Dr. at 3: lost 3 1/2 lbs in week. went to D.q after sat until 4:50 then I went out after Ray but he had to work until 6: so I sat & crocheted then we went & got Jerry at 6: from D.q & came home & Dean had supper ready. We ate & Dean & Jerry went to type class. Ray, Dale, Jackie & I went to bed early. I made deviled eggs & baked beans this morning for Dean for supper.

Conference

Rained all day

I got up & took Dale on his paper route & came home & read paper & had a bath & got ready & at 8:45 Dean Dale, Jackie & I droped Jerry off to work at D.q. & we went to Stake Conference. Ray stayed in bed & went to afternoon Session with Rodney Hennis. After morning session we went to D.q & Jerry bought our lunch & we went back to Conference Dean was usher. Sister Garf & Brother Bagley were up. Ray went to work at D.q after conference. Rodney brought Jerry home & they got ready & went to Boise to church

We had a fire in fireplace down stairs & watched T.V.

I went to bed at 10:30.

Jackie had new Pink & white easter suit.

cloudy & rainy. Kids didn't have much to do today

Jerry took Ray out to work & at 11:30 I took him to work.

I washed cloths & iorned Jerrys cloths. & crocheted.

I went & got Ray & we ate & I took him to work at D.q & brought Jerry home & he got ready to go to Boise with Rodney & here came Ray home with Mr. Johnson, sick, & he got ready & went with Jerry & Rodney. They never got home until 3: AM. We went to store & got some eggs for easter before we got Ray. & Dean cooked a bunch for deviled eggs & him & Kids colored some. I watched T.V until midnite & fixed easter baskets & went to bed.

Jerry & Dean took Dale up & droped him off to get new starts for Paper & we went to Caldwell & put $13. in Bank for Dale & went out to Simplots & got my check & came back to Nampa & paid off bed room drapes & 1st payment on play room drapes went to D.q & Jerry talked to Mr. J. 2 hrs while we waited, I crocheted & Dale cleaned yd. came home & Jerry got supper & I made out payments & got my books up & went & got Ray & we ate & me & Kids took Jerry & Ray to work at D.q 6: to close & went up to Gails awhile then went & paid R.R. Credit Union loan & came home & we went to bed. Mr & Mrs Johnson came awhile about Painting. his birthday. Kids took him Present when they went

I took Ray to work.

Ivard came at 10: changed jobs & worked his days off. had to be back to work at midnite. He got his check & we paid place & took Dodge to Dobbs & they aligned front wheels & put new tie rod in, we left it & took Desoto back to Don Borens at 1: when we went to DOn Borens & got Desoto after they put new master cylinder in.

Lyle came awhile this morning then left when we went to town them came back at 1:30 & I fixed them dinner & Lyle took Ivard to get dodge at 3:15 when they left for Metcalfs to reception for her sister. We couldn't go, I had to finish Income tax. Ivard was supposed to go at 4: but Bixby called he didn't have to be there until midnite so they left at [?] Bixbys sure liked our house.

It was 11:40 time I got Income tax finished & I dashed in to Post office & mailed them & got Ray from D.q.

I took Ray to work & crocheted & worked on my Perse & washed some cloths & Jerry worked on his table cloth. I took him to work at D.q. at 11: & came home.

I went & signed up for unemployment at 2:30 then went & got groc & came home & got supper & went & got Ray & we ate then I went & got Jerry from work at 6:

Lyle & Barbra came at 4: for 15 min. Came down to family dinner at Helen's & stayed all nite at Gails.

Dean & Dale went to Piano L. at 6:30 & Rodney Hennis (his birthday) came & took Jerry & Ray to Boise.

Jackie & I walked out to Leona Wakefields & talked to her until Dean & Dale picked us up after their lesson. Kids went to bed & I watched T.V. until 10:

sunny & real nice today. I made lunches & took Ray to work at Ferdanands. I crocheted awhile then got ready & Jerry droped me off at relief Society work meeting & he mailed Genes pkg & took car to Don Borens & they put new brake hoses on back wheel. Nampa floral gave Jerry a 12. orange flower center piece for table for all his busiess real pretty. He came home & painted all day & I came home at 2:30 with Marg. Looslie. Jerry fixed supper & we ate & Dean took Jackie to dancing then at 5: they went out & got Ray & he got ready & him & Jerry went to work 6: to close & Dean came & picked us up & I took them to Mutual & Jackie & I came home & I crocheted awhile & we went to bed early.

I got up at 7:30 & called Gail & he came & took Ray out to Ferdanands & he started working for them 8: till5: He took Jackie to school on way back. Jerry walked to work 11:30 to 6: I washed some cloths & worked on Income tax all morning

At noon Gail & Lynda came & took me up to Don Borens to get car, put new drum, brake shoes & cylindar 20. I stoped at D.q & talked awhile & came home & crocheted awhile & got ready & went to Dr at 4: gained 3 lbs. went out & got Ray & we came home & ate & I took him to D.Q to work 6: to close & got Jerry. Dale went on bike & cleaned yard. Jerry & Dean took Jackie & I to Johnsons to Paint class on their way to typeing & came & got us at 10:. guy worked on yard all day.

Sunday, April 11, 1965

sunny - cloudy real windy all day. I got up at 4:30 AM & took Dale on his paper route & came home & read paper route & came home & read paper & went to sleep & never even heard Jerry - Dean & Dale go to Priesthood or come home & get Jackie for Sunday School & take Ray to work at D.Q. 10: to 5:30. I woke up at 11: & made jello salad & washed 2 batches of cloths & Crocheted & worked on my income tax. Kids came home & Jerry fixed dinner, his day off.

I went & got Ray at 5:15 & we just got home when D.q called, softee machine wouldn't work so Ray dashed back & never did come back. At 7: he called the brakes had gone out on him & he had to leave car to Don Borens all nite. Rodney was here so he took me & Kids to church & him & Jerry got Ray & went to Boise. Johnsons brought us home.

Saturday, April 10, 1965

snowed clear to bottom of Mountains rained about all day. Jerry & Dean got up & took Dale on paper route.

We cleaned house & I changed my bed, Jackies & Ray & Dales & washed cloths all day long.

Ray traded Karen & worked today 11: to 6: Jerry took him & droped Dale of at Crofts to go on a Priesthood Party.

Jerry went to work 6: to close & Ray came home & had bath & got ready & went to Boise to dance with Rodney Hennis.

I watched T.V _ crocheted.

I went & got Jerry at 12:30 he called & woke me up, I'd gone to bed.

Dale got home at 8:, Dean went & got him, he'd gone to Hoaggs.

Jerry got up & took Dale on Paper route at 5:30 & at 6: Ivard left for Glenns Ferry to work at 8:, changed jobs so only had one day off.

Jerry & Ray bumed around all day & both went to work at D.Q. 6: to close.

I don't feel good & I just sat around all day & crocheted & washed clothes.

Jackie missed buss & stayed home today from school she cleaned her room & Ray did his.

Me & Kids went to bed early today.

Ivard came from G. F.

stormy I got up & took Dale on his Paper route & came home & got Kids off to school and made a white layer cake with orange filling & 7 min iceing & cocoanut & a choclate cake with choclate frosting for Ivards birthday, he got home about 9: from Glenns F.

Jerry went to dentist at 8:30 I made Jello salad & cooked roast Gail came to sign Ivard up to sell books. Jerry worked 11:30 to 6: & Ray worked 6: to close. We had Ivard birthday supper before Ray went to work & Jackie ate when she came from Primary & Jerry came home from work. & we opened Ivards Presents

Jerry took Dean up to Pauls Pizza to Growl banquet at 7: Jerry went & got Ray at midnite. Ivard & I & Jackie went & gasesd up so Ivard could go in Morning.

Kay had baby boy & called

Jerry went & took Dale on Paper route cause it was raining.

Ivard was 50 today but was in Glenns Ferry so we'll have his birthday tomorrow. Kay called at 6:30, Claudia had 7 lb boy at 4:30 & they'll name it Ivard Kay.

Ray & I took Jerry to work at 11: & went & bought Ivard some birthday presents & I signed for unemployment I crocheted all afternoon I don't feel good.

Jerry came at 6: & Ray went to work & I took them. Jerry went to Boise with Betty Coats to Institute & Dean & Dale went to Piano Lesson. I had to get up & got get Ray at 11:30 & Jerry was there too.

Tuesday, April 6, 1965

cloudy & rained on & off all day & tonite. Jerry got up & took Dale on Paper route it was raining so hard. Kids went to school & Phone woke me, Jerry & Ray up at 10:, it was Gail, he came out & took Ray selling books all day. I don't feel good. I crocheted most of day. Jerry & I watched & listened to morning & afternoon general conference.

Jerry fixed supper.

Gail brought Ray home & took Dale to get hair cut & clean D.q yard & droped Jackie off at dancing. I took Jerry & Ray to work 6: to close & got Sis & Dale & we droped Dale off at Mutual, Dean had to stay home & study.

Came home & went to bed. Got up & went & got Kids when they called.

Got laid off at Simplots

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed for hr then got up & Ray & I droped Jerry off to work at D.q at 11:15 & we went to Caldwell & Ray turned his report in to Parole board & we went to Gold Strike store & got a croquet set & lawn sprinkler for Ivards birthday - came back to Nampa & got $21. worth of groc & came home & I put groc. away & listened to Conference & crocheted Made a cake & got supper. Ray went back to town. We ate & Ray came at 5:45 & changed & dashed back to work at 6: to close & Jerry came home & ate & him & Dean went to Type class. they droped Dale off at Looslies & he went to Stake House to general Priesthood Conference. at 8: Edith came & took me & Jackie to Johnsons to Paint class. Came home at 10: half dead.

Sunday, April 4, 1965

sunny & nice. 36 ° when I came home from work. I read Paper & went to bed at 10: Dale rode to Priesthood with Looslie other Kids listened to General Conference then Ray & Dean went to Sunday S. & Fast meeting & droped Jerry off at D.q to work 10: to 5:30. I woke up at 1: & fixed dinner & we ate & listened to Conference.

Gail  & Lynda came awhile.

At 5:20 they left & Dean & I took Ray to work & I got gas while we waited for Jerry to get off & we came home. I went to bed until time to go to work & Kids watched T.V. & studied Jerry got me up to go to work.

Ovard went back to Glenns F.

cloudy & cool

I came home from work & cooked hot cakes after Jerry went to store & got the flour & eggs & went to bed at 9:30 & woke up at 1: & got up.

Ray left at 9: to go dig a big pine tree up they gave us, where there tearing down houses to make apt. on 16th & Ivard left as soon as he ate.

changed Ray, Dale & Jerrys beds & washed them. Patty went home just as we ate.

Jerry fixed supper & we ate at 3:30 Me - Jerry - Dean, Jackie & Patty - Ivard & Ray, they got home at 3:20. Dale left at 2:30 to go to show, Mrs Hoagg caeme & took him. Dean went & got hair cut right after breakfast.

Jerry went over to Doug Pallisons at 3:45 to take him final test for B. Y. U. extension course. Ray had bath & Dean took him to work at 5:20.

Ivard had bath. Jerry came at 5:30 & Dean him to mail his lesson & droped him off at work. Ivard left for G. F at 7:30 & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Friday, April 2, 1965

Got letter from Gene

sunny _ cloudy & not so cold.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed. Ivard got up & went & got some dehorners & dehorned the calves.

Jerry & Ray went & delivered their Tupperware & got hair cut ect.

Christine called at 1: & woke me up so Ivard rubbed my back & I got up when Kids came home at 1:30 and they worked on yard, started rock garden.

I fixed supper & washed some cloths. We ate when Kids got home from school. Dale went & cleaned D.Q. yard & collected for Paper.

Jerry & Ray went to work at D.Q. 6: to close.

Ivard & I went to town & got Jackie new Pink easter suit out of laway.

Mrs Forsgrain came & got Jackie & took her to show then Patty came home with Jackie & stayed all nite. I went to work.

Ivard came from Glenns F for 2 days off

sunny_cloudy_snow clear to bottom of Boise Mountains. Cold I came home from work & went to bed at 9:30 but was too cold to sleep so when Ivard came at 10: we went to town and Paid bills. Jerry & Ray went too We took Jerry to work at 11:30 & Ray was in talking to Mr. Johnson for 2 hrs. (he'd called him up & told him off the nite before) We had a submarine sand. & Ivard got hair cut while we waited. Came home & I went to bed & Ray took off again. I got up & cooked steak & potatoes & made gravey & we ate. Jackie was to Primary & Dale was collecting for his Paper. when they got home Ivard & I Dale & Jackie took Lynda a Birthday Present, material for dress & 1 1/2 books Green stamps for iorning hanger rack. stayed hr & came home, they were going out to dinner. Jerry & Dean went to show Ray to work.
