Had letter from Mother & Jerry when we got home.
Sent mother letter in Woods Cross.

I got up at 7:30 & changed mothers beds & gathered up all our cloths & packed & had bath & we went over to Berniece's & ate & at 9:30 we went over to Irvins & got a few groc. to bring home & at 11: we left for home. We ate along in car, stoped for gas. We got home at 6:30 p.m. Gene & Ray left for Mutual right after & we ate & Kids went to bed & Ivard & I rode to Nampa & got his check. came home & went to bed at 9: a few people called after. Kids got home at 10:

Monday, May 30, 1960

We got up & had breakfast and I worked on some more genelogy, coppied sheets of Mas & Kents at 10: Berniece & I & Kids went to cemetery & decorated grave then up to Beverlys & saw her new house. Came back at noon & fixed stuff & we went up the canyon & cooked our supper. It sure was good. Kids hiked & I read book. We came back to Bernieces at 6: & I did some more genelogy. We had icecream & went to bed about 9: & I laid & finished reading my book, until about midnite It was sure hot today cool up the canyon. Ken didn't work today - We went up canyon in two cars.

Sunday, May 29, 1960

Ken had to work today. We ate & Berniece & her Kids & Dean went to sunday school. Ivard did dishes and I coppied mothers & Kents genelogy I didn't have until after noon. Berniece got dinner & we ate & visited.

At 4:45 Berniece, Ivard & I & all the Kids went to church & after we rode up to Tooele & saw the town then Ivard bought us hambergers, fry & root beer & we went down to Park & ate. I had milk Shake after we went back to Bernieces & all got to bed early every one was so tired.

Saturday, May 28, 1960

We got up at 7: & had shower & ate with Irv. before he went over to the store then I helped Ruth do dishes & cleaned up downstairs & packed all our stuff & we left for Grantsville stoped at Marv. for couple of hrs & Ivard went with Marv to take Kids to little league & Lorraine & I delivered card tables. We got out to Mothers at 1: & she'd gone to Spokane.

Berniece fixed us dinner & we visited & I got Ma & Kents genelogy out & started copying what I don't have.

We ate & did dishes & watched some of their movies of Dad, Ma, & us & them.

We all slept over in Mothers house. went to bed about 9:30.

Ray & Gene called, wrecked a tractor tire.

Friday, May 27, 1960

We got up & ate & cleaned up & left Kids at Ruths all day & Ivard & I went to Salt Lake at 9: I bought me some underwear & bra & shoes, & exchanged 2 pr. garments Ma sent me that were too big then we went to Gold Strike Center & got a carving set & icecream scoop & diper for Marva's reception then I went up in ZCMI & talked to Ruth half hr. We had milk Shake & went out to Louies & copied genelogy then Ivard stayed & did it & I went to Bountiful at 3: & had hair cut, color shampoo & set went back & Louie fixed us supper & we went back to Irv.'s & Kids had eaten. I fixed my girdle & slip & had shower & we got ready & went up to Stake House to Marva's wedding reception with Ruth & Irvin. It sure was nice. We danced. Came home at 11: & went to bed at Irvins.

Thursday, May 26, 1960

left for Utah
went to Temple

We got up at 3:45 A:M & at 4:25 we left for Utah - Ivard & I Dean, Dale & Jackie. We stoped at Hazelton & ate breakfast & at Burley for gas. We got down to Marv's at 11:30 & visited Sara, Howard & them & Sarah got us dinner & I helped her do dishes then at 3: we went over to Irvins & showered & got ready & left Kids & went to Salt Lake to Temple & went through with Marv & Loraine, they got endowment & had all the kids but LeeAnn sealed to them after they were married. Marva & her guy got their endowments & will be married in morning. Its the biggest Session I've ever been on about 40 in Marv's party. after Ivard & I, Irv & Ruth and Wanda & Milt Went to Harmans & ate Shrimp got to Irv's at 11: & went to bed, I was dead.

Wednesday, May 25, 1960

I came home from work & Ivard had gone to work at 8: in Nampa

I washed clothes. & tended Jackie.

I was supposed to go to Boise to Dr. but it was last day of school & picnic & Kids bawled to go so I called Leva & told her I wouldn't go & I took Kids to school. They never got home until 4:30. They got permoted.

Jackie & I slept about 2 hrs this afternoon.

I got supper & we ate & Ivard & I went in to church to genelogy meeting & on our way home we decided to go to Utah. Went to Bishops at 10: & got Recomend then went to Hern's & got it signed then called in at 11: & laid off & picked up my riders & took them to work & came home & Ivard went to bed & I packed until 1:30 A.M & went to bed.

Tuesday, May 24, 1960

I came home from work & Ivard had gone to Boise to work.

I took Jackie & went to bed but didn't get much sleep.

I took Kids to school when I got home then they got out at noon & I went & got them & they tended Jackie & I went to relief society. Came home at 4: & when Gene & Ray came on bus I went to bed & Ray got supper. I got up & ate.

Monday, May 23, 1960

stormy. I came home & ate & read paper & sorted cloths & washed a batch & went to bed. Ivard took Kids to school & him & Jackie went to town to bank & paid lites & phone.

The phone woke me up at 12:30 & I got up & washed a couple more batches & hung out.

The iornrite lady came at 1: & showed me how to use my iorner & I practiced a little after she left. Ivard went after Kids & I went to bed.

Ray got beds made & fixed supper & him & Gene went to Mutual.

Ivard went to Boise at 7:30 & got home just as we were leaving for sunday school at 11:30.

I came home from work after I went to garage (Don Born) and had battery cable cleaned. I had to have Bob Dines push me to start car at work. I ate, read paper & went to bed an hr.

Gene & Ray went to Priesthood with Max.

We ate & I spent all afternoon going through the book on Lee genelogy.

Ivard & Kids went to church & Dale, Jackie & I went to bed at 7:30.

Dean stayed in to Perry's after sunday school.

Got announcement that Marv. & Loraine are going through Temple

Ivard went to Boise to work again at 7:30 A.M.

I came home from work & ate, read paper & went to bed.

Gene sorked outside and Ray cleaned house.

I got up at 3: when Gail, Lynda & Kids came. The baby, Krstine sure has a lot of black hair.

Ray & I cooked supper. Ivard got home at 4: & they cultivated beets then Gene took Wally's tractor home & Gail & Lynda went & got him & bought a gal of icecream & we ate & played penocle. Ray did dishes & Gene did chores & went in to baseball game to snag balls. Ivard didn't go, it was too cold had to have furnace on. Gail went home at 9:30 & I laid down an hr. & went to work.

Friday, May 20, 1960

Ivard went to Boise again at 7:30 A.M. I came home & hurried & got ready & took Dean in to Dr. Lee & had a thing put on his tooth to streighten it. Dr. Lee said he'd let me take his Lee genelogy book home.

It was 11:30 when we got home so I didn't take Kids to school. Dale & Jackie had been swimming & I made them go to bed.

Hard cold wind

I went to bed & the McNess lady came at 3: & woke me up so I didn't get to sleep again.

Ivard came at 4:45 & we went to town & he went to Dr. Lee & had his stitches taken out then we got $25. worth of groc. & went over to Dr. Lee's house & got the Book on Lee genelogy & came home & Ray had supper ready & we ate & went to bed & loved. It really rained. I went to work at 11:

Ivard went to Boise at 7:30 to work again.

I came home from work and took Dean to school. Dale stayed home & tended Jackie & I went to bed at 10: after I ate & read paper.

I got up at 1: & got ready & went in to bank then went to my 3rd Sewing lesson then I bought some material to make Jackie a dress in Sewing class. I went out to car, parked in new lot across from Depot, & there was Ivards pick-up so I went in Stockman & there he sat playing card. he said he would come in 3 min. so I waited in car an hr. & he hadn't come so I got mad & came home & went to bed. I got up at 10: & got ready for work & went in to Stockman & really told Ivard off in front of everyone. I told him to come or else. I went & got in car & started to bawl & he came out & promised he wouldn't go in there again. I went to work, he came home right after.

got letter from Kay, Jerry & Invitation for Marva's reception & a big picture of Douglas.

I came home from work & took Kids to school then I called & told the lady not to come & show me how to use my iornrite, I forgot to dampen cloths. I ate & read paper & went to bed & Jackie watched T.V. then at noon she went to bed with me.

We got up at 3: & went after Kids at 3:45.

I wrote to Kay & Jerry.

Kids came home & Gene went to work.

I called rail road & Ivard went to Boise for 7:30 A.M.

At 6: I went to Nampa & took Dean to get potatoe chips for his primary Party & got gas. Went to Stockman & got Ivard, been playing cards since he got off work. came home & ate & bathed & Ivard & I went to the Bishops to a genelogy meeting. Came home & laid down jr & went to w.

I went to bed at 5: until time to go to work

I came home from work & ate & read paper & Ivard took Kids to school & went over to Wally & messing around. He came at 11: & I had my relief society lesson so I went to bed 2 hrs then Jackie & I got ready & took him over to Wallys to borrow his tractor & cultivator & we went to relief society & I gave my last lesson for summer.

I came home & picked up little Kids on the way. Ivard was watching T.V & listening for phone. It really rained awhile Ivard said he was going over to see Art Jerome (which I doubt) & he hadn't come back when I went to work so I drove past Stockma & there sat his pick up. I'm getting so tired of it.

Monday, May 16, 1960

I came home from work & took Kids to school & ate, sorted cloths & washed 5 batches on & off. We went to town at 9:30 & got Ivards little check & paid 3 bills, all there was. came home & Ivard cultivated beet awhile. he left at 12: P.M to go on brakeing trip to Weiser.

I dried all the cloths in dryer but 1st batch, the wind was too hard

Jackie & I went to bed at 1: & got up at 3:30 & went after Kids. I worked on my histories until 6:15.

Ray & Dean made beds & got cloths put away & Ray got supper.

Gene went & worked for Bish's son in law after school until 6:15

Kids went to Mutual & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Sunday, May 15, 1960

Ivard watered & cooked dinner.

Kay & Gene went over to Owyhee Ward to church & to Claudias & never got home until 5:30

Ray went to priesthood with Max I worked on genelogy until 11: then had a bath & at 11:30 me & little Kids went to sunday school, got groc. & gas & came home & ate about 3: after we decided Kids weren't comeing.

Ray did dishes & I worked on genelogy again.

Ivard & I took Ray in to choir practice at 6: & Kay to meet Kids to go to Rexburg. We got gas & had a milk Shake.

Gene did chores & him & Dean went to church with Max. I worked on books

Ivard & I went to bed at 8: & Dale & Jackie. I went to work at 11:15.

Saturday, May 14, 1960

I came home from work & Ivard was already home. The toilet was still broke so Ivard took it off & got it uncloged then broke it after he got it back on & was trying to take old parts out so we could get new ones. Ivard & I & Dean went to town & bought a new one at Wards & Ivard got it in.

I washed a lot of cloths & iorned 44 pieces.

Gene worked for Bish's son in law all day.

We ate at 3: & Kay went over to Claudias & Ivard went back to work without ever even laying down.

I fixed Kids some cocoa & toasted sandwich & we watched T.V. until 10:30 & I went to bed, I was dead. Ivard got home at 11:15 & Kay at 12:30 Ray watched T.V. until it went off the air. Ray cleaned house.

Friday, May 13, 1960

Kay came home for week-end.

I came home from work & Ivard was already home. He took Kids to school. I ate & read paper. at 9:30 we took Jackie & went to bed. Her & Ivard got up at 11:30 & I got up at 12:30 Ivard listened to ball game & I dampened down 34 pieces to iorn & washed 3 batches & got books up.

Cloudy & cool breeze.

Ivard went back to bed & after I got Kids I laid down 1 1/2 hrs but couldn't sleep.

at 6: Ivard & I went in & waited for Kay to come from Rexburg & I wrote mother while I waited & mailed it We took Kay over to Hales to see the Bishop & to Yorgesons, about a job. We came home at 7: & Ray had supper ready. We ate & I washed one batch of Kays cloths

Ivard & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Got Mother day card & Picture from Jerry

I came home from work & Ivard took Kids to school & I hurried & got ready & went in to Newlands & Leva & I went to Boise to Dr. I just lost 2 1/2 lbs this 2 weeks, the less yet. I got home at 12: & ate & watched T.V. & at 1:30 Ivard & Jackie took me in to Singer Sewing Co. & I had my 2nd lesson in my sewing course. Ivard went & signed up for unemployment & got front Tractor tire fixed then they came & got me at 4:30 & we went out to sugar factory & signed our loan papers. got groc. & came home.

I went to bed at 5: & never knew anything until they woke me up to go to work.

Ivard had to go to work & followed me in.

Kids went to Primary & Gene went & watered for guy.

Wednesday, May 11, 1960

Gene started helping Bish's son-in law water tonite.

I came home from work & ate & read paper & tended Jackie all day. I worked on my histories most of day.

Ivard left for dentist at 9:45 & had rest of his top teeth out. I called dentist, when he hadn't got home by 2:30 & they said he had left at 11: at 9:30 he still hadn't come so I got ready for work & went in to Stockman & there he sat playing cards, lost $5. I never said a word to him. I threw pick-up Keys on table & he handed me car Keys & I went out & sat in car next to pick-up listening to radio until 11: & he hadn't come so I went to work. He said he got home at 1: A.M. Jackie & I slept 2 hrs this afternoon & I went to bed when Kids came but never could go to sleep. Ivard didn't work today.

Tuesday, May 10, 1960

I came home from work & took Dean to school, Dale didn't have to go, achievement tests.

I ate & read paper & got diary up & got ready & went to relief society work dat at 10:15

Ivard was home from work & in bed. Dale tended Jackie.

When Ivard got up he cultivated beets until he wrecked front tractor tire.

We had a good dinner at relief society & I came home at 2:, I took Jean Perks.

I went to bed until 5:30 & Ray got supper. I ate & went back to bed until time to go to work.

Kay called

I passed Ivard takeing Kids to school when I came home. I ate, read paper & sorted cloths & washed one batch then Ivard said to go to bed When I got up at 2:30 he had them all done. I went to bed at 10:

I worked on my histories till time to go get Kids then we got them & went to town & I took Dean up to Dr Lee & had a tooth pulled the new one was pushing it out. I went to couple of stores hunting cordory but couldn't find any. Got some things at drug store. Ivard bought Kids icecream cone on way home. Ray had supper ready & I made gravy. We ate & Ray went to Mutual with Pendeltons & Gene went with Max the rest of us went to bed at 7:30

Ivard followed me to work, he went at 11:30

Kay called & said he'd be home this week end.

Sunday, May 8, 1960

I didn't get up very early every one messed around until they were too late to go to priesthood. Ivard & Gene stayed home & listened to ball game, (watched) on T.V., and rest of us went to sunday school. stoped & got groc. & picked up tire & we came home and had a picnic lunch & banna splits & german choclate cake.

Kids gave me hair nets, bobby pins, shampoo, envelops & a lip stick in fancy case (Max Factor) for Mothers day. I got my iornrite yesterday.

Ray did dishes & Kids played ball & I worked on genelogy.

We all went to church

I laid down until time to go to work. Ivard watched T.V. he didn't go to work.

Saturday, May 7, 1960

I came home from work & ate read paper & went to bed.

Ivard went to Boise to work for 7:30 A.M. Ray went with Max on scout work & got home this afternoon.

I got up at 12:30 & washed 2 or 3 batches of cloths & iorned 30 pieces. When I got up I told Gene to get iorning board out & when I came out of bath room there sat an iornrite they got me for mothers day, brought it while I was asleep I was flabergasted

Ray cleaned up house & got supper & we ate when Ivard got home from Boise at 4:30.

I worked on genelogy.

Ivard & I went to Givins swimming.

My nite off & Ivard didn't work tonite. watched T.V. when we got home until it went off air. stormy.

Friday, May 6, 1960

I came from work & took the Kids to school.

Ivard was home & in bed. I read paper & ate & at 10: me & Jackie went to bed. I woke up at 12: & Ivard was out checking water. I laid in bed most of afternoon but didn't sleep. Ivard came back to bed & scratched my back.

Ivard went after Kids & came to bed & we slept until 5:30

Ray got supper & we ate at 6:15.

Ivard cut Dean & Dales hair

I came home from work & Ivard was checking water so I took Kids to school.

Gene stayed home & made a fence it was play day.

Ray stayed home & cleaned house good all but Kitchen waxed music room & washed walls & woodwork in bathroom. I went to bed 2 hrs then I got ready & we went to town & Ivard went to Dr Lee & started having his teeth out, had 4 on top. I sent mother card & $5. for mothers day & went shopping awhile then at 2: I started takeing my 7 week Singer Sewing class

I came home from work & took Kids to school. Ivard was out checking water.

I ate read paper & made some lemonade.

I got up after Kids went to school & ate & washed my bed spread - foam pad & mended my sheets & washed them then I did a little patching. at 1: I had a bath & went to relief society. Ivard watered all morning & watched T.V., tended Jackie

I went to store & got groc & got air in tire & came home about 4:30.

clouded up & rained most of afternoon.

Ray got supper & I worked on my histories.

Rained hard tonight.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

I'm still mad at him.

Monday, May 2, 1960

I came home from work & Ivard was gone - work I guess. I took Kids to school & sorted cloths & washed 5 batches & got them dry.

Rained all last nite & was real cloudy today but wind blew hard.

Jackie & I went to bed at 1:3 to 3:30 & went & got Kids.

Ray called & said he was going to stay & pass hand bills so I cooked supper. worked on histories for genelogy.

I called rail road & Ivard got off about 5: & when he hadn't come by dark I laid off & went hunting him. He was in Stockman as usual, playing cards He said he'd come in min. I went to Double bill show "Edge of Eternity" & "Gene Krupp Story" & went back at 12:15 & he was still sitting there. I came home & went to bed. & he got here about 2: A.M. I'm getting fed up, pretty soon it won't matter what he does I won't care.

Kay & Gene went over to Owyhee to church & Kay left for school from there at noon. Gene never got home with pick-up until dark, he'd been visiting around.

Ivard & Ray went to priesthood with Max & I worked on genelogy then bathed & me & Kids went to sunday school. came home & ate & I worked on genelogy. went to be at 9: until time to go to work.
