Came home from California
Ray broke his foot
Rain _ Rain _ floods
Gene came home for week
got up & Packed & ate & went to leave for home & windshield wipers still wouldn't work so they took it all apart & oiled it & it was ok. It was 10 min. to 10: when we finally left & it was raining torrents when we got going up to the Donnar Pass it was starting to flood, the hard rain had melted yesterdays 42 inches of snow & what was there before. It was racing down all the glullies & ravines in torents & the river was swishing & Tumbling & shooting 20 feet in air, carring logs & rubbish. We got some movies of it but it was raining so hard, I hope they are good. Water was over hyway in a lot of places & they closed the road after we got threw the last big puddle & nearly stalled. When we came down other side water was over road all along the lake. When we got comeing down from Jordan Valley the hyway was covered with water in 8 places. got home at 11:30 & Nampa was pilled with snow but rain was melting it they'd had a good foot. Jerry had just got Ray home from hospital, broke his foot in tournament they won. at midnite in walked Gene, Dave & Marvin got in on bus from Rexburg. I fixed them something to eat & we all got to bed.
