a woman called from New York to say she'd met Kay in Peru & he was fine.

I got up & took Jerry to work then at 9: I took Ray to work & Dean to Firmans to go Selling Candy. I was just out by neighbors when I passed Ivard walking home, he'd got a ride up with one of guys.

I washed some cloths & hung then Dale, Jackie, & I went up to Rail Road with Ivard to get his little check & Dale had hair cut then we went over to Gails awhile & left Dale & Jackie.

Jerry came & fixed lunch & we ate & him & Dean raked lawn & Ivard cleaned part of garage & they washed car. I iorned all afternoon. We took Dean to get hair cut then went & got Dale & Jackie & gave Lynda her birthday present, bedspread. Ray gave her set towels. Came home & at 8:30 I took Ivard to Kennys to go back to Glenns Ferry & J. & I went to bed. My nite off.

Friday, March 30, 1962

I came home from work & read papers and washed 3 batches cloths, rugs - bed spreads and hung them all out.

Jackie & I went to bed at 1:30 & at 3:30 we got up & got ready & took Ray to work & we went to bank & put some money in my Saveings then we went & bought Jackie a new green dress for Easter, a pr of white sandals a white hat & umbrella perse & slip, a pr red slacke & a pr of fancy slacks & shirt to match then we got Ivard 2 Shirts for his birthday. We went & got Jerry at work & got some groc. & came home & ate. Jackie & I went to bed and Jerry & Ray went to the show.

Thursday, March 29, 1962

I came home & took Ray to school then I washed 4 batches of cloths & hung all outside but socks, had all my lines full. I made some tea & cleaned up & read paper & got my books up.

I fixed lunch & Jerry came & ate with us & Jackie & I went to bed at 1: Gail & Lynda came & stayed until then. Got up at 3: & tended cloths & took Jackie to Primary & got groc. Came home & got cloths in. took Ray to work when I took Jackie.

Went & got Jackie at 5: & Dale

Went & got Jerry at 6: and we ate & I went to bed until time to go to work I was tired.

Ray & Dean didnt eat they went selling candy & passing hand bills to earn money for their trip to the Worlds Fair.

Wednesday, March 28, 1962

I came home from work and went to bed & Ivard went with me for awhile then he got up & fixed fence, cleaned back yard & tended Sis, went over to Gails a few min.

I got up at noon & took Jackie to dancing, came home at 2:30 & went back to bed until 5:30. Jerry came home from work & fixed supper & we ate & he went up to church House.

Ivard had a bath & left for Glenns Ferry in Pick-up & I went back to bed until time to go to work.

Ray went to school & passed out & vomited so teacher brought him home & I kept him in bed all day. He took a double dose of paine Pills, didn't go to work.

Dale went to Cub Scouts.

Tuesday, March 27, 1962

Got letter from Claudia

I came home from work & went to bed.

Ivard took Ray to hospital at 10:30 & had his pelvis exrayed, notheing was broken. It hurts him a lot & he stayed in bed all day.

Ivard went & got new seat for tractor, battery & front tire & tire for pick-up with some of $100. Mr. Hennis gave him.

I got up this afternoon & Ivard, Jackie & I went up & got groc. & a bed spread for Lynda's birthday, paid bills & Ivard went to Dr.

Ivard got hair cut this afternoon.

We ate and I went to bed until time to go to work.

Monday, March 26, 1962

I came home from work & made me some tea & read paper & washed 2 batches of cloths.

Ray stayed home from school with his hip & laid down all day. I took him up to see Dr. Ross at 5:30, he has to go have ex ray in morning. Went after Jerry & got a prescription for Ray & came home & Jerry, Ray & Dean left for Mutual.

Ivard got home from Glenns Ferry about 10: for his 2 days off. Gail came for little while this morning on way home from work.

I went to bed at 10:30 & got up at 5:

Ivard worked on Pick-up & took Sis over to Gails & left her.

We ate & after Kids went to Mutual, Dale, Ivard & I went over to Gails & got Jackie. Came home at 8:30 & I went to bed until time to go to work & Ivard went too, been up

I came home from work & went to bed and read paper & got my Sunday school lesson & slept for an hr then got up and had a shower & Ray came & took Dale, Jackie & I to Sunday school, came home and Jerry, Ray, & Dean went to Stake House to meeting and Dale tended Sis & I went to bed at 2:30. Jerry fixed supper when they got home.

He had to go to speak in Caldwel with High Council & Ray took him up to go with Dr. Daines.

Ray - Dean & Dale went to church & I got up & took Jackie to bed with me. Kids went to Fireside.

I came home from work and Jerry was to work and Ray got up & went.

Ivard came from Glenns Ferry right after I got home, got a ride up. We went to bed about 10: Ivard got up about 1: but I never got up until about 5:

Jerry had gone & bought stuff & had a lunch supper ready.

At 6: Jerry - Ray & Dean left for church & the Mutual went to Givins Swimming. Ray came home & could hardly walk he'd jumped off in shallow end & hurt his pelvis.

At 8:30 I took Ivard up to Don Carols & he went back to Glenns Ferry to work.

I went back to bed until time to go to work.

Friday, March 23, 1962

I came home from work and washed some cloths & Jackie went to bed with me but I never did get to sleep I had such a pain in my side. When she woke me up at noon we got up & ate and started up town & tire went bump - bump so I took in to Don's & run it up on rack & it had a bump a foot long so I took it back to Wards & got a new tire for $9.75, we'd had it a yr. Then we went to Dobbs & had them work on starter, it wouldn't work again, then I droped Jackie off at Gails & went to Caldwell & put my dimes in bank & some money for Dale & Jackie. Came back & got Sis and Paid place: when Kids got home I went to bed until time to go to work.

rained all nite long - real cloudy today.

I came home from work & took Dean to school & Jackie & I went to bed at 10: she got me up at 12:30 & I washed some cloths & crocheted & read paper.

at 4: I took Ray to work & Jackie to Primary then got groc. & came home & got my books up. And ate & at 5: I went & got Kids from Primary and went to bed until time to go to work.

Wednesday, March 21, 1962

Ivard went back to Glenns Ferry

I came home from work and went right to bed.

Ivard got me up at 12:30 & I took Jackie to dancing lesson. Came home & Ivard & Jackie went up to rail road on business.

Ivard had dishes done and some cloths washed & he had a bath.

Ray came home & went to work & read paper. Dale went to Cub Scouts.

We ate when Jerry got home & I laid down until 8: then I got up and took Ivard up to depot to catch the train for Glenns Ferry.

Jerry went to show in Boise & had Ray go & drive him in the pick-up. They weren't home when I went to work.

I came home at 8:45 & Jackie & I went to bed until I went to work.

Got letter from Kay

turned my Ins. in at Simplots on Ivard

Cloudy and rained awhile.

I came home from work and Ivard & Jackie had gone to Adrian to take Gene to school. Hes going to stay over in Haney's house (empty) Gail left him a bed. They came home at 10:30 & ate & took off over to Gails until 1: then they came home & ate lunch & Sis had a nap & Ivard came to bed with me then about 3: he took car up to get brakes fixed & I put a roast on & cooked parsnips.

Ray came home from school & went to work.

Jerry was home for lunch.

We ate supper and I went to bed until time to go to work.

Ivard & Jerry went over to Stake House to meeting.

Dean went over to Roses' to pass his Morse Code.

Monday, March 19, 1962

sent Kay a letter

cloudy all day.

I came home from work & Ivard was already home from Glenns Ferry, got off early.

I was so tired I went right to bed and never woke up until 5:30 then some one woke me.

Ivard tended Jackie & they went up to Dairy queen on bike & had icecream. He did dishes. Gail came & borrowed pick-up to finish moving.

Ivard took Ray to work after school and he went to Mutual from there.

Dean fixed supper & Ivard went & got Jerry & we ate & Jerry & Dean went to Mutual.

I got my books up and wrote to Kay. Went back to bed at 8: until time to go to work. I feel awful. Ivard came to, his nite off. Gene came home tonite.

Gail moved to Nampa

I read paper in bed and got my Sunday school lesson.

Ivard didn't come home today

Jerry - Ray and Dean went to priesthood & sunday school. At 11:30 I took Jackie & Dale & went to prayer meeting & Sunday school.

Came home and fixed dinner & Jerry went & got some icecream & we ate then Dean & Ray made a cake & I made a Kettle of spagetti & a bowl of salad and Jerry, Dean, Dale, Jackie & I took it over to Gails new house. They were sure hungry. Kids helped unload. They had most every thing but fruit & little stuff. We came home at 6:30 & Jerry, Dean & Dale went to church & Jackie & I went to bed. Ray went to practice this afternoon for Seminary programe tonite.

Gail rented a house

sunny & warmer

Jerry ate & went to work. Ray never got up & went to work until 9: I got up at 8:30 washed rugs, overalls & cloths. I started to iorn at 9: & never got done until 5:

Ivard called just as Ray was going to work he'd got a ride home from Glenns Ferry so Ray went up to Kennys & got him. He went to bed for awhile.

Gene, Lynda & Kids came about the same time Gail got here from milking & they went & looked at houses - rented one out by Midway. Gene went up to shop & came back with Ray then he went up & came home with Jerry. Jerry went away all afternoon then came home & worked in yard awhile then went to dance.

Gene & Lynda went home at 2: & at 3: Gail went to work, stoped in & changed his cloths on way home. Dean got supper, cleaned bathroom & bed rooms.

Ray & I took Ivard up to go to Glenns Ferry at 8:30. My nite off.

I Started going back to Dr. Cudmore

Went to relief Society birthday supper.

Lee, Sybil - Norton & Nancy came awhile

My nite off tonite.

I got up when Jerry took Ray to Seminary and changed my bed & washed pad & spread before I got ready to go to Boise. Kids went to school & I took Jerry to work & at 9: Jackie & I went down to Kotters & went with them to Boise. Helen & I went to Dr. Cudmore then we went to McDonald & had lunch, she had her 2 girls.

I got home at 2: & washed the rest of my bed & Dean helped me make it when he got home.

Gail was here asleep. He left for work at 3:30 & I called about some places for rent for him. At 5:30 Ivard walked in, got a ride up so came to go to relief society Party with me. We went & saw about a couple of houses for Gail then went up to church to supper, real good, fried chicken & home made icecream. I took Ivard up to R.R. to meet a guy at 9: & go back to Glenns Ferry. Thursday, March 15, 1962

Debbie went home

I got up & took Jerry to work. I sure feel awful. Gail took Debbie home today.

Ivard got a ride from Glenns Ferry & got home about 9:30, got off work earlier. He went to bed awhile & Jackie & I went down to Kotters & she cut my hair we came home at noon & got ready & went & Paid a couple of bills & took my Ins. on Ivard to hospital & got a Statement then left it at Dr. then we went to Central to Science Fair. Got groc. & droped Jackie off at Primary.

We came home and I got supper. We ate and Gail Lynda & Kids came on way home from milking.

Jerry & Ray went to Sunvita meeting but Jerry came back home because none of his contacts came. Ray stayed & brought Pick-up home after Ivard left for Glenns Ferry at 8:30, he went to meeting for awhile.

I was supposed to go to genelogy meeting but never.

I laid off sick.

Wednesday, March 14, 1962

Ivard started back to work at R. R. after being off 9 mo. Had to go to Glenns Ferry

I came home from work wick. I laid off for next 2 nites, that time of month.

I washed some cloths & at 12:45 Debbie & I took Jackie to dancing lesson & had icecream cone on way home. Ivard had to go up to Rail Road & mark up & he went to bank for me and paid some bills.

Gail went to work at 3: He stayed here all nite.

We had supper & at 8: some guy came & got Ivard & they drove to Glenns Ferry to work at midnite.

I went to bed at 6: & woke up long enough to tell Ivard goodbye. I was so tired & sick.

Tuesday, March 13, 1962

I came home from work and went right to bed. Ivard tended Debbie and Jackie and did dishes. Gail came after he got done milking & had nap. Went back to work at 3:, stayed all nite.

I got up at 2:30 & made out some payments to mail & worked on my books. Ivard mailed them when he went after Jerry.

I got supper & went to bed at 7:30 until time to go to work, after I had a good hot bath.

Ivard & Jerry went to ward faculty meeting.

Monday, March 12, 1962

I came home from work and went right to bed. I woke up at 1:30 & couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and ate, read papers.

Gail got home from milking at 10: & ate & fooled around. He went back to work at 4: he stayed all nite.

I got supper & Ivard went & got Jerry & we ate and Ivard, Jerry & Dean went to Mutual. Ray went to work after school and went to Mutual from there.

I took Jackie & Debbie & went to bed until time to go to work.

Debbie came for few days

I came home from work & read my sunday school lesson & went to bed 2 hrs.

Ivard - Jerry - Ray & Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school. at 11: I got up & got ready & Ray came & took me to prayer meeting & Dale, Jackie & I to sunday school.

Came home & Ivard fixed dinner and Jerry & I went to Stake house to sunday school convention. It was 5: when we got out & we stoped to Dairy Queen & Jerry bought my supper & I came home & went to bed.

Gail brought Debbie this afternoon to spend a few days.

I went right to bed until time to go to work.

Dale, Jackie & Debbie stayed home & rest of them went to church. Gail stayed all nite. Dean spent the day at Perrys.

Sunny - cloudy - windy

I came home from work & cooked hot cakes & made cocoa then went to bed at 10: Ivard came back to bed awhile.

Gail came after he got threw milking & stayed then went to work at 4: got back at 7: & we ate & him & Ivard went to basketball tournment. He stayed all nite.

Jerry came home from work at 12:30 & ate & went on a date until 10:30.

Ray went to work until noon then scrubbed & cleaned kitchen & front rooms. He went to ball games.

I got up at 4: & changed all the beds but mine & washed. Dean cleaned his, Jerrys, & my bed room, hall & bathroom & made a cake. I got supper & washed my & Jackies hair.

I went to bed at 8: & Dean & Dale did dishes.

I came home from work and went right to bed and never got up until 4: then I went up & paid car & put some money in my Savings and got groc. Came home & fixed supper & we ate & at 6:30 Jerry took Ivard down to Kotters & they went over to Gails & held a Sunvita meeting.

Ray went to work after school then to ball game. Jerry went over to Stake House to hear "Mormoneers."

I went to bed at 7: until time to go to work.

Gail spent afternoon here.

Cloudy - hard wind - snow flurries

I came home from work and went to bed. woke up at 12:30 & read my genelogy lesson then went back to sleep.

Gail went home today between work & brought Lynda & Kids back to see a house out by his work. They came about 7:30 & Jerry fixed them supper. We were all through. I got up at 4: & got supper.

Got ready & Ivard & I went over to Stake House to genelogy class & Ivard kept telling me off & I bawled so I wouldn't go in. I came home & went back to bed & Gail went home. Ray went after Ivard. Ivard took Sis to Primary & got her.

I went to work at 11:

Awful hard wind for little while blew a tree across road out by Allens & when Dean came home from Swimming Party at Givins they hit it & shattered windshield, no one got hurt bad.

Wednesday, March 7, 1962

It rained all last nite.

I came home from work and went to bed. woke up at noon.

Gail was here all day, between work.

I got up and went to store & got groc. & came home and fixed supper and Ivard went after Jerry and we ate.

Dale went to Cub Scouts

I took Jackie to dance lesson at 12:45.

Ivard went to Boise to Sunvita meeting this afternoon and again tonite.

I went to bed until time to go to work, Ivard wasn't here at 11:15 so I called Elma to take riders, he came at 11:30 & I followed riders to Caldwell.

Tuesday, March 6, 1962

Cloudy & rained all afternoon.

I came home from work and ate & went to bed.

I woke up at 1: but laid in bed until 2: then got up & we went to Boise & Ivard went to Dr., he said to get his teeth as soon as possible & that he could go back to work the 15th - We had milk Shake & came home at 5: & Ivard went to see a guy & get Jerry.

Gail came & had dinner then he had an appointment in Boise at 1:30 then went to work.

Ray went to work after school

Gail stayed all nite.

Dean got supper & I went to bed until time to go to work. Gail washed & dried his cloths & had a bath.

Monday, March 5, 1962

Gail started new Job. Milking cows over here by Nampa.

Sunny - windy - warmer.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed. I got up at 2:30 and Gail was about ready to go back to work. He started today at 5 A.M. & was here by 10:, had dinner & visited Ivard until time to go back to work at 3: milking cows.

Ivard & I & Jackie went up & paid Hales, Wards & got a few groc. Came home & played a game of Scrabble & cooked supper.

Ray came home from school & went to work & from there to Mutual. We ate & Jerry & Dean went to Mutual.

I read paper, got books up & went to bed at 7:30 until time to go to work.

I laid in bed & read paper & got my Sunday school lesson.

Ivard - Jerry - Ray & Dean went to Priesthood.

I made a meat loaf in put in oven & got ready & Dale, Jackie & I went to my prayer meeting - Sunday school and fast & Testimony meeting. Ivard bore his testimony. We came home at 2: & Jerry & Dean finished getting dinner & Ray went up to church to Seminary dinner & practice.

We ate & Ivard, Jackie & I had a nap. Ray got home at 5:30 & him & Jerry went up to Dairy queen then Ray came home & Jerry went to Alice's.

I got up at 6:30 and got my diary up & wrote to Kay.

I laid down at 9: until time to go to work

Saturday, March 3, 1962

Gail & Gene came

Cloudy & windy - snowed 2 in. tonight

I got up late. Jerry & Ray had both gone to work.

I washed 4 batches of cloths and iorned all afternoon.

Gail - Gene, Jeff & Kristine came at 11: & went home at 4: Gene & Ray went down to see Kurt awhile then we ate dinner. Ivard rode with Gail & Gene when Gail went to see about a job milking cows. he got job if he wants it, to start Monday morning, he has to decide with Lynda.

At 7: Ray went to show & Ivard left for Boise to Sunvita meeting but there wasn't one & he got back home at 9:30. It snowed hard for a little while, 2 in.

I watched T.V. until 11: & went to bed. Ivard stayed up & watched last show.

Friday, March 2, 1962

Gail came a few min. on way from Boise.

The roads were real slick when I came home from work but it melted off in awhile.

Ivard and I played Scrabble all morning

I went to bed at noon & Jackie & I went to bed & Ivard did dishes

I got up at 2:30 - Gail & Lynda stoped a few min.

This after noon Ivard, Dale, Jackie & I went up town, when Kids came from school, & sent in Gails Sunvita membership, got groc. & got Dale and Jackie a new pr. of shoes. Came home & made barbacue & punch & ate.

Ray went up to high school foot ball game and Jerry went on date, to Boise to show.

I watched T.V. awhile & went to bed, I was so tired.

warmer - cloudy & windy. snowed

I came home from work & went right to bed at 9: & got up at 2:30 and washed 2 batches of clots & worked on my books

Ivard took Sis to Primary & went & got her.

I made a rice pudding for breakfast and a Instant pudding for supper.

got supper & we ate.

Ray went to work after school he went to high school tonite to ball game.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

Ivard was up watching T.V.

It was snowing so hard when I left for work I could hardly find the road, 2 in deep. When I got over to Maries it had stoped, not much snow at Caldwell.
