Ray called-got letter too

I came home from work & went to bed at 9:30 woke up again at 1:30 & got up & we went up to Dairy q. & had lunch & Ivard went to work at 2:30 on Wilder Local, his day off & they called him breaking. he cut lawn this morning.  Lyle, Barbra, & Kids stoped at D.q. & gave me my birthday present lareches Avon set of Cream sacket lotion, powder, skin cream.  I told them I had to go to bank so they were going to Gails & Come later but they never did.  Ivard went on to work & I went & Paid place & got groc.  Came home & worked on my puzzle Contest until 9:30.  Dean fixed supper.

Jerry worked 12: to 6:

I picked Jackie up at school & we stoped in at D.q & had drink.

I rode up with Ivard to take Sis to school & get his check before I went to bed

Dale went to Butters after school until dark.  Jerry went to M-Men.  I went to work at 11: Ray called & said he'd lost job & for my birthday

I was 48 today.

Ivards day off.  Jerry worked 5 to 12:

I read paper in bed then worked on my contest puzzle until church time.

Jerry had to go take Kids to deliver fast offerings then he came & took Ivard & Dean to Priesthood.  Ivard came & got me & Kids for sunday school & fast meeting.  We came home & Jerry went to store, & fixed my birthday dinner.  Dean made a lemon cake this morning & frosted it while Jerry fixed dinner.  Dale bought icecream.

They gave me a new Westinghouse fry pan with broiler lid, new roast Keeper (Tupper ware), Tefflon cookie sheet Jerry, vase of artificial sweet peas, plastic cloths basket, & big Almond candy bar from Dean, Dale & Jackie

Gail & Lynda & Kids came & had desert & watched colored T.V. & we played Penochle They went home at 7: & I went to bed until time to go to work.  Kay called at 10:30 to wish me happy birthday.

I got up & washed some cloths, changed bunk beds.

I spent most of day working on my Puzzle contest.

Dean scrubbed & waxed & cleaned house good and moved all the furniture around.

Ivard watched ball games all day.  he went to work 11: to 6: at D.q. at 4: Jerry worked at D.q. 11: to 6:

About 6: the floral Co. delivered a beautiful red carnation Planter for my birthday from Edith Looslie Gail came & got Dean to tend Kids & I had to fix supper.  We ate & Jerry took Dale up to D.q. to clean his yard & shopping while I had a shower & got ready & Jerry & I went up to Pix to show "Gathering of Eagles" left Dale & Jackie home alone stoped at D.q & had drink.  Ivard was home when we got home at 11:30 watching T.V.  I went right to bed- My nite off.

I came home from work & wanted Ivard to go get some peaches to do & he hummed & hawed around & was onery so I got mad & went to bed & never woke up until 3: Jerry was to work.  Ivard had just sat all day watching T.V. he went to work at 4:

We ate & Dean went up to high School to Centrals foot ball game & Jackie & I took Dale up to Gails to stay all nite & work for him tomorrow.  We came home & stoped at D.q & had drink then came home & went to bed.

I came home & ate & read paper & went to bed, 9:30.

Jerry went to Tupper ware meeting all morning with Mrs Howard, hes going to take over Rays job.  This afternoon he went & got measured for his new suits

I woke up at 11:30 & got up & tried on my new house dress mother made to see how the pattern fit.  It was a little long waisted so I pinned it & got it ready & rode up with Ivard to mail it.  We got our State Income Tax back so we went & paid off Dr. Lees account at credit Bureau.  Picked up Sis.

Ivard had 2 big Kettles of tomatoes cooked so I run them through & bottled 15 qts juice after he left for work at 4: he droped Sis off at Primary on way.  Lyle was here for hr.

Jerry came home & made a meat loaf & I finished supper while he went & got Kids from Primary.  I took him up to work at 6: to close.  Dale also went up & cleaned his yard at D.q.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

Jerry started nite school at B.J.C.

I came home from work & ate & read paper & just got in bed when mail came so had to read it.  It was 10:30 when I went to sleep. & I got up at 3:30.

Ivard picked 1½ bu. tomatoes, fixed stove, Kids blew fuse in it last nite, & went up town on business.

Washed 2 bedspreads & 2 other batches cloths, Jerry.

Jerry went up town too he didn't half to work today.

Ivard went to work at 4:

We ate when Kids came from school & went up town & took Dales suit to have pants & coat lengthened & bought Dean a new suit.

Jerry bought him that 2 suit, sports coat & 2 pr slacks for $166.  & he got a sweater.  We droped Jerry off at bus to go to Boise to start nite school at B.J.C.  came home & Dean practiced ½ hr & we went to Hurrens for Piano lessons I wrote Kay a 10 page letter while I waited came home & Jackie & I went to bed at 8:

cooler in nite but warm & nice today

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed at 9: & at 10: Jerry called from Dairy q. & woke me up so I could go to relief society opening social, Brunch & work meeting at 10:30.

I stayed until 2: then stoped at D.q. & had drink to Keep me awake.  I came home & got Jackies dance things & Ivard was home getting ready for work, he was gone when I got home this morning, out working on tractor getting it ready to sell.

Ivards glasses were broke so when I got Sis at 3: at school we took them over & had them fixed & were comeing home to change Jackies things & ran out of gas up on 12th by real estate place.  I called Ivard & he came & pushed me to gas station.  Came home & Sis changed & we went to dance class at 3:30. stoped at D>q. after for drink at 5:10.  Came home & I went to bed at 6:15.

Dale made cookies & practiced & Dean fixed supper & him & Jerry went to mutual.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed with Ivard

I went to sleep at 10: & woke up at 1: & Lyle was here so I got up.

Ivard just sat all day watching T.V.

I washed a batch of cloths and iorned until 5: then Ivard & I went up to Alexanders Sale & got Ivard 2 suits, sport coat & 2 pr. slacks for $166. then he got a pr. dress shoes & a pr insulated shoes for work, pajamas & belt came to over $200.  picked Jerry up & came home & Dean had supper all ready & we ate & I went to bed at 7: but I couldn't go to sleep, tried too hard.

I got up at 10:20 & got ready for work.

Jerry went to M-Men_Gleaners & got home just as I was leaving for work.

I came home from work & went right to bed, I was so tired & sick. read paper in bed.

Ivards day off.

Ivard_ Jerry & Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school.  Ivard came home & got Dale & Jackie for S.s. Jerry & Dean dumped guys off after church & went to Stake House to meeting at 2: they came home at 3:15 & Jerry fixed dinner & I got up & ate at 4:

I went right back to bed after we ate I was so tired.

They got the colored T.V working & I got up & watched Bonanza then went to bed until time to go to work

real nice sunny, breezy day.

I came home from work & ate & read paper & washed 4 batches of cloths & went to bed at 11:, got up at 4: & Ivard was still sitting watching ball game, late for work.

This morning Ivard & Jerry took table & chairs back to church, we used when Kay was here.  Ivard & Jackie took a box of cookies, Dean made last nite, over to Buttlers for them to take Gene then Ivard took Jackie up to Gails to stay all day.  he spent rest of day watching ball games.

Jerry went to work at D.q. 10: to 6:

Dean went & got hair cut & cleaned up house.

I iorned when I got up.

Lyle was here & left at 4:30, been takeing a test at B.J C. traingle Dairy for job.

I went & got Jerry & we ate, Gail & Lynda came & brought Dale & Jackie home & Jerry took Dale up to D.q. & waited while he cleaned up his yard.

I took Jackie & went to bed at 7:30 & Jerry took Dean & Dale to show.  Ivard came home hr on his lunch time.  I went to work at 11: & Sis was alone until midnite

had letter from Mother

rained most of nite & this morning_cleared up.

I came home from work & went to bed at 9:30, after I read paper.

Ivard cooked rest of tomatoes & when I got up I bottled 10 qts juice.

I got up at 11:30 & rode with Ivard to take Jerry to work at D.q. 2: to 12: then we went up town & pd water & some on Dr. Daines then we got Jackies used bike we bought for her birthday & brought it home & hid it.  stoped at D.q. on way home & had drink & got milk.

Dale went & got hair cut.

Had letter from mother & a cloth pattern of my new dress to try on for fit before she starts makeing it.  she also fixed openings on shoulders of my 2 new garments & sent.

I folded Genes stuff & took to Buttlers for them to take him tomorrow then took Dale up to Gails to stay all nite so he could work for him tomorrow.  went to bed 8:30 to time to go to work.  Dean made 2 batches of cookies.

Jerry got home from Provo

Sent Gene a 10 page letter

Jerry got home from Provo in nite, hes going to take a correspondence course to get what he needs & go to school in Feb.

I came home from work & read paper & went to work bed at 9:30. 

Ivard cooked tomatoes for juice & had pressure cooker & steel Kettle full run through ready to do then had the big Kettle cooked ready to press through.

I got up at 3:50 just as he was leaving for work.

Lyle was here for awhile.

Jerry run around all day & washed some cloths.  He had to go to work at D.q. 6: to close.

H went to store for me.

Dale & Jackie went to Primary & we went & got them at 5: & ate.  I took Jerry to work & took Dale to store to get some stuff for school.

I did 16 qts tomatoe j. before supper then run others through & did 2 more qts

I went to bed at 8: until time to go to work.

Dale started working at D.q., cleaning up outside, 3 days a week

Ivard took Dean to Seminary.

I came home from work & ate & went to bed at 9:45.

Ivard left at 9: & never got home until 3: working on tractor getting it ready to sell.  He came home & cleaned up & ate & went to work.  The phone woke me up at 2:45 so I got up & canned 6 qts beets & a bowl for eating. fixed supper & each one ate on run.

Jackie went home with Forsgrin girl & they brought her home at 6:

Dale came home from school & went up to D.q. & started working, cleaning up yard, 3 days a week.

Lynda brought David, Doug, Kristeine & Jeff & eft for hr. while she took Debbie to dancing.

I took Dean & Dale to Piano lesson at 6:25 & while I waited I wrote a 10 page letter to Gene.

Lyle came a few min.

Ivard went back to work after weeks vacation

Jackie started dance for fall.

Barbra went to hospital for few days-had all her teeth out

real cloudy then it cleared off pretty good

I came home from work & we changed our bed around & made it & put Electric blanket on & I washed my bed, rugs & another 2 batches of cloths

Ivard went up town & Pd a bill for hauling grain & got gas & put some money in bank for Jerry then he came home & cleaned up garage some & wash room.

Ivard took Dean to Seminary then Jackie to school.

Ivard went to work at 4:, got bumped off 3: job up at 3: & I got ready while he went after Jackie & we went to her first dance lesson this year, 3:30 to 5:, stoped at D.q.

Dean fixed supper & we ate at 6: & I went to bed until time to go to work.  Lyle & Gail came & watched T.V. from 8: till 10:45.  Lyle is staying up to Gails & little Kids.  He took Barbra to Boise this afternoon to hospital to have all her teeth out, she has Calcium deposits.  she'll be in until about Sat.

I got up & helped Kids get off to school Ivard took Dean to Seminary then came home & took Jackie on his way to mark up & get his check.

I washed cloths & got out & made out payments and got ready & we went to bank and paid bills.  stoped to pay Hales & he talked Ivard into buying a colored T.V, Zenith & new Westinghouse Fridge.  He gave us a Sunbeam waffle iorn & a fry pan, Ill keep fry pan & give waffle iorn to Kay for wedding.  He gave us 250 for our T.V. then Ivard went up after they took it & bought it back for $100. got groc. & picked up Sis at school & took her to buy Debbies birthday Present & her fish I promised her.  Came home & they delivered our new stuff.  We got supper & ate & went up to Gails a few min. & took Debbies Present, they were going bowling came home & I went to bed & Kids did dishes

I went back to work after a week off.

got home from Salt Lake

mailed card to mother & letter to Claudia

Jerry left for Provo by bus

rained all morning - sunny this afternoon a lot cooler.

Ivard & I got home from Salt Lake at 5:30 A.M. & went to bed until 9:30.

Jerry & Gene Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school.  Dale stayed up to Gails last 2 nites & at 10: Gail brought him home & watched ball game until 11:30.  Dale got ready & rode up to church with Gail.  Jackie went to S.S with Debbie.

I washed some cloths & worked on my books

Jerry brought a cake & icecream home after church & some tomatoe soup & I fixed soup & we had it with meat pies we brought from Utah.

As soon as we ate we all went up to Gails to get Jackie.  She was sure glad to see us, vise verea

We played Penochle awhile.  Came home at 6: & Ivard_Jerry_ Dean, Dale & Jackie went to Church & I finished working on my books & fixed a list of people to invite to Kays reception and wrote Claudia & Mother & we mailed them after church when Ivard went to see about job at filling in his vacation time slip

Jerry came home & packed & at 10: Mary K. & Alice came & got him to fool around until he caught 11:30 P.M bus for Provo to see about school

Dean went to Fireside.

Plant was down tonite, sure glad.

Sunny but cooler

We got up & ate breakfast & got ready & Ivard took Mother & I up to Tooele at 9:30 to look for dresses, we couldn't find any so we spent couple of hrs. in fabric shop picking out pattern & material for me 2 dresses & mother one for makeing them, 42.50. got a new air coushion for front seat in car, Dr. Told Ivard to get for his sore bum.  We never got back to Mothers until 2:. Berniece had a nice chicken dinner ready & we ate & fitted my patterns & at 4: we left for home.  We stoped & saw Marv a little while then over to Irvins awhile.  Called Kay but they'd gone some place.  We left for home at 7: we stoped at Brigham City & went through Stan Parkins new house, swanky (swimming pool), we visited for over a hr & finally got on our way at 10:30.  We stoped at Bliss & ate & in Burley for gas.  drove all nite to get home by morning (5:30 AM)

rained in night & this morning

We got up & had breakfast & Bill called mother to see if she'd be home.  He was on his way through from San Francisco (flying) stoped over for day.  Bill got out here from Salt Lake about noon & we visited then we all ate a nice dinner at Bernices and at 3: Bill & Mother left for Salt Lake to meet Dr. Call & go through temple.  We got ready & Ivard & I told Bernice goodbye & at 4: we went in to Salt Lake & I walked all over town hunting me a dress for wedding (Kay's) but couldn't find one.  got blister on heal & toe.  We went up & parked by Temple at 7: we were going to meet Bill & Mother & go out to Ruth & Rays for nite but when they got out at 8: We went with Dr. Call & Gloria & Bills friends the Terry Hansens to "The China Kitchen" on 13th So & State & had a delicious supper.  It was like the Islands & had a thunder & lightening storm & rain while we ate, atmosphere (artificial) seemed real It was 10:30 time we got out & too late to go to Ruths when she didn't know we were comeing so Bill went with Calls & we went back to Granstville & stayed with mother.

I got up at 8:30 & Ruth & Ray had gone to work & Kids to school.  Ivard cooked us bacon & eggs while I got ready & we ate & did our dishes & Ivard & I & Ray left for Provo.  We got there about 10:30 & unloaded all of Rays stuff at his room then took him up to D.q. to work 11:30 to 12:30 & Ivard & I drove around B.Y.U. Campus, it is really big so many beautiful new buildings.  We went & found Kays apartment & he was there unpacking & cleaning up so we took him & went to D.q & had dinner, Ray had already gone so we took Kay down to see Rays place, they just live 4½ blocks apart.  We got Ray & took him & Kay & bought them $50. groc. I got Kay mop, bucket, scrub Brush ect. then went & put Rays away & he got ready for work then we went to Kays & put his stuff away & Ray rode with Kay up to D.q. to see if he could get a job.  guy said he thought he could in couple of days.  We followed them down & told them goodbye & we left for Grantsville at 5:30, through American Fork, West Jordan.  got to Mothers at 7:30 & visited until about 10:30 & went to bed.

Wednesday, September 11, 1963

hot.

We got up at 8:30 & Stella had breakfast ready & we ate & did dishes then Ivard & I each had a bath & got ready & left for Mortiuary at 11: & at 12:40 we left for South Bountiful church.  Our car was first one back of family.  Kay & Ray rode with us.  We met Ray at mortiuary, he'd come from Provo with Dean & Donna.  We picked Kay up at Petersons.  They had a real nice funeral for Julia Rae Cleverly, tons of flowers, & the church was packed.  after we left cemetary we went to Irv's & had lunch & visited family.  took Kay up to Petersons & he got his car so he could go to Salt Lake at 4: & meet Claudia & go visit President Sharp his first mission President.  About 5:30 we went back up to cemetary & took some pictures of flowers then back to Irvins.

We left Irvins about 7:30, Ivard & I & Ray and went up to Ruth & Ray & went to bed about 10:30, after we had a good visit.

Gene went to Rexburg to school

Ivard started his weeks vacation

hot all day.

I went to bed at 2: A.M. & at 4: Ivard got me up again & he had car all loaded & I got ready & at 4:30 A.M. we left for Rexburg to take Gene to school.  We each had a turn at driveing.  We stoped at Arco at 10: & had breakfast.  We got to Rexburg at 11: & went right up to school and Gene went out on field with coach & I sat in car & crocheted.  At noon they came & we took Genes things up to dormitory then went down town & had dinner.  We took Gene back up to dormitory so he could rest befor foot ball practice & told him goodbye and we went to service Station & took a tire off that had bump on & at 2: Ivard & I left for Salt Lake.  We got down to Petersons at 5:45.  Kay & Claudia had just got there from Nyssa.  We went in to Petersons & cleaned up & started up to Mortiuary & ran out of gas about a mile away & Ivard had to walk & get some it was after 7: time we got there.  There was a mob came & it was 10:30 before we even got to talk to Irv. and Ruth.  Its wonderful to have so many friends.  after we went up to Stellas & left our car & her & her new husband took us out for hamberger then we stayed there all nite.

Jackie cried in school most of day & they couldn't reach us, didn't want us to leave her home from Utah.  took fit tonite-finally had to leave her with Gail.  Ray called Lyle was over.

We got up & had breakfast & Kids went to school.  Dean left early for Seminary.

We droped Jerry off at D.q. to work 10: to 6: and Ivard & I took Kay & Claudia and went over to Boise.  We stoped up on Bench & saw Claudias mother, where she's staying, then we went up town & drew $200. out of Rays Savings account for him for school.  We came back to Nampa & I got Rays 2 laways out & took Kay to Alexanders & charged him $75. worth of cloths for school.  We went to Caldwell & Kay drew his little Savings account out $20. and went to draft board then we went out to Simplots & I borrowed $250. from Credit Union to go to Utah & help Kids.  Came home at 4: & Kay & Claudia told us goodbe & went to Nyssa so they could get early start in morning for Utah. had to take a beef back for her folks when locker opened.

We went to cannery & got our 110 cans peaches we did Friday & ate supper

Coach from Rexburg called at 6:30 & told Gene he'd give him a full scholarship to school so him & Ivard went out to tell Wally & get some money & I started washing & patching his cloths.  already had Rays out to pack.  took jackie up to stay with Gail while we went but he wasn't home, came & got her later.  I was up till 2: getting ready.

I got up at 6: A.M. and put turkey in oven.  Ivard came home & slept a little while

I fixed breakfast & we ate and Ivard Jerry, Kay and Gene & Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school. at 11:30 Claudia took Dale & Jackie & went to sunday school.  I had to stay home & make dressing & cook turkey & wash some cloths.

Irvin called at 11: to tell us Julie had been killed yesterday afternoon in a freak accident out in back of their place by a pole off fence that their horse had pulled loose when some Kids scared them.

At 1:30 they came from church & changed & we took turkey & dressing & all went up to Gails & had a big dinner.  We were all together but Ray.  after we ate Kay & Claudia had to go meet with Stake President & give his report.  We came home about 6: & got ready & went to church to Kays Home comeing.  Ivard opened with prayer & Gene blessed Sacrament & Jerry closed Kay was speaker.  Gail-Lyle-Stanley & Debbie came.  Barbra & Lynda stayed home with Kids too tired & dirty after all day.  Came home & Ivard went to bed until time to go to work in nite.  Kay & Claudia drove to Boise awhile.  I laid off for week to go to Utah

I came home from work and went to bed until noon.

Jerry worked 10: to 6:

Dean scrubbed & cleaned up the house.

I got up & washed some cloths and Ivard took me up town & I got me 4 shirts for work & a bra then this afternoon I went out to Sister Yorgensens & got me 2 pr. garments & Ivard a pr.

I had just started to cook supper at 5:, stuffed peppers, when in drove Kay & Claudia from Utah.  First time we've seen him since 2½ years ago.  just got home from his Mission in Peru Wed. nite_a day late on account of weather.  He hasn't changed a bit.  It was so good to see him.  We ate after they went & got Jerry from work & Gene got home.

After we ate we all went up to Gails & Kay showed us all his slides he'd taken of Peru.  We came home about 11: & went to bed & Ivard went to work Kay & Claudia went after a root beer he hasn't had one so long.  they stayed here.  I laid off so I could get turkey cooked early in morning

hot today.

I came home from work & changed and we went up to Rail Road to tell them where we'd be then at 9: A.M we went to Cannery & did Peaches.  We had 4 bu. but about ½ bu was too green.  I was so tired & hot I about died.  We did 110 qt cans.  I'd never have made it but Lynda & Barbra came to do tomatoe juice & had to waite a hr. for juice pots so they helped us.  We came home at 4: & I soaked my feet for half hr & went to bed & slept a hr with them above my head, they were so tired & couldn't walk.  I got up & could hardly get to bathroom.  I went back to bed & stayed until 10:30 & got up & felt good as new.  I didn't think I'd be able to go to bed work when I went to bed.  I was too tired to sleep.  only got 2 more hrs. but I sure revived so I went to work at 11:

My pay day.  I came home from work & ate & read paper & got ready & Ivard & I took Jerry up to D.q. to work 10: to 6: and went to bank & got groc. stoped at D.q & had drink then came home & Called Cannery & got 1: appointment then we dashed out to Hendershots & got 4 bu. peaches, got a bu. of pears at store & we went to Cannery & did 24 qt cans peans, weren't all ready.  We came home at 3:15 I washed some cloths & got out, 2 batches.

Dean Came at 4: & cleaned house.

I got books up & had shower & went to bed at 4:30.

Ivard went to Rail Road & took Deans driver training Permit up, after I signed it, and got Jackie & Dale from Primary.

Had supper enough left from last nite.

I never got only 3 hrs of sleep

Wednesday, September 4, 1963

Kay got back to Salt Lake after 2½ yrs in Peru

real hot.  84° at 11: P.M when we went to work.

I came home from work and read paper & went to bed at 9:30 until 3:30 then I got up & fixed 4 cups berries Ivard picked, a tub in freezer & Dean made a cobbler for supper, and cooked supper

Ivard didn't work today

Gene worked until 6: and Jerry 10: to 6:

We ate and Ivard took Dean & Dale out to Hurrens at 6:30 for their piano lesson.  Jerry & Gene got ready & went to priesthood party over to Yorgensens swimming then to Bishop Perrys to Steak Supper.

Dale went & sold 2 boxeds Cards after school.

Sis took her dress & shoe at school today.

I was just going to bed when Gail, Lynda & Kids came & we visited until Ivard & Kids came at 7:50 & I went to bed, they left any way

Went to work at 11:

Ivard took Dean up after school to get his Drivers training permit.

Tuesday, September 3, 1963

Jackie started school.

I came home from work & hurried & changed & took Dean to school then took Jackie to Kenwood & registered her.  My baby, she ask me "aren't you happy I'm going to school." I was but I'll miss her.

I went to Wards & P.F.C & got a statement of Int. for Income Tax, they are checking our State, I had to meet them at 10: Everything was OK.  I stoped to D.q. & had Pietza & drink & came home & washed a batch of cloths & went to bed at 12:15.  I was awake, still at 12:50.  Lyle came at 3: & woke me up & I got up & hung out cloths.  Went back to bed but hadn't gone to sleep when Sis came.  so I got up at 4:30 when Ivard got home from New Meadows.  I called Dr. Daines & he left at 4:30 to go to R.R. & mark up & be there at 5: for eye examination.

Dale went Selling Cards.  I got books up.

We ate & Dean & Jerry went to Mutual.

I went to bed until time to go to work only slept hr.

Monday, September 2, 1963

cloudy_sunny _ little breeze.

I came home & read paper & went to bed at 10:, after I got wash sorted & Dean started on it.

Dean changed the 3 beds in Jerrys room & Jerry helped him make them before he went to work at 10: to 6:

Gene worked all day _ got home at 7:15, was home for lunch.

Dean tended Kids and did washing, got it in & put away & did supper.

I got up at 4: & worked on stuff I have to take up to Income Tax interview in morning.

Ivard had gone to New Meadows for 2 days brakeing when I got home.

Jerry went to M_Men Gleaners & Gene went to show.

Dale went selling cards until dark.

I washed Kids hair for school in morning.

Went to bed & got up at 10:30 & went to work.

Sunday, September 1, 1963

clouds but sunny most of day.

Jerry went to work 10: to 6: & Dean went collecting fast offerings.

Gene went to priesthood & sunday sschool.  Ivard wouldn't go, had to watch ball game, he took little Kids to sunday school & they came home with Gene.

I washed 3 batches of cloths & iorned all morning.  Color shampooed my hair & had dinner about ready when Kids came from fast meeting at 2:20.  Jackie gave 2½ min. talk.

We ate & Kids did dishes & I got books up.

I went & got Jerry at 5: he went some place to Boise with Mary Kay

I had shower & went to bed at 6:. Ivard had to watch T.V. all day, couldn't even talk a few min. or visit.

I went to work at 11:, we get double time.

Gail came for awhile.
