Cloudy & sunny _ rained & wind blew tonite.

I came home from work & read paper.  Ivard went & got his check but I went to bed at 10: & bawled all morning.  Ivard said he was going to leave me.  I stayed in bed all day but never did go to sleep.

Ivard & Gene & Jackie went to see about a place they are going 50-50 on with guy that owns it.

Ivard took Jackie to Primary then at 5: took Dean to his piano lesson.

Jerry went & bought us all a sundae this afternoon.

Jerry made meat pie for supper & Gene made biscuits & put on it.  I never got up today.  I got awful pain in my side & Ivard called up & laid me off.  He come to bed & loved me

Ivards nite off.

Jerry & Ray went over to Stake house to decorate for gold & green ball, went with Edith.

Jackie don't feel good.

sunny & breezy & nice.

I came home from work and read paper & watched T.V until 10: then I went to bed.  I woke up at 12:20 & thought it was 4: so I went right back to bed until 3:15.

Ivard & Gene worked out in back yard all day getting it ready for garden.

Rlief Society teachers came while I was asleep.

Jerry worked on his Income tax's & mailed them in.  He washed a batch of cloths too.

Ivard left for work at 3:45.

Jackie went up to Dusty Rhodes to Play this morning & never came home until Jerry & Gene went after her when they went & got Ray then they went out to Murrys.  came home & Jerry took Dean up to Dr. to check his T.B. test.  Gene went this morning & was OK.

Dale went to Cub Scouts.

We ate & I went to bed until time to go to work.

I took Jerry up to work at D.q at 6: to close

rained during nite & hard on us coming home from work then there was hard wind & blew it away & it was sunny all day.  Cloudy & cold tonite.

I read paper & went to bed at 9:30, woke up at noon & went back to sleep until 3:

Ivard took Jerry to work at D.q. 10: to 6:

Ivard & Gene took Wallys manure loader & tractor home & our tractor out for him to use.

I took Jackie to dancing class at 3:15 & we stoped at Dairy q & had drink & got some milk.  Came home at 5:30.

Dean cooked supper.

Ivard got Ray from school & went to work at 3:45.

I went & got Jerry from work & we ate supper.

I went back to bed at 7:30 until time to go to work.

Jerry went over to Stake House to M_ Men Gleaners.  The Kids were all in bed when I went to work.

Monday, February 25, 1963

Gene & Dean had Patch test

frosty this morning _ Sunny & warm all day.

Dean got up & made hot cakes & I cooked them & Ivard took Dean to school.  We ate then all the rest of us went to Dr. & our Patch test was oK, no T.B. Gene had his this morning.  We droped Ray & Dale off at school & we came home & Ivard & Gene went out to Wally Bryson's & borrowed his tractor & manure loader & hauled out manure on Pasture.

Jerry did dishes & made jello salad for supper.

I washed 4 batches of cloths & hung out and iorned 26 pieces.

I took Jerry to work at 1:30 to close he was only supposed to work 6: to close but Mr. Johnson wanted off.

I made banna pudding & at 2:30 I went to bank then met Dean at school & took him to Dr. for his Patch test never got home until 5:  We ate & Dean did dishes & we got cloths in, & made beds

I went to bed until time to go to work.

Kids went to mutual.

Sunday, Februray 24, 1963

Sunny & nice

I got up & fixed breakfast & we all ate together.

Ivard. Jerry_ Ray & Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school.

I washed Jackies hair & curled it & we all Gene took her & Dale up to Sunday school.

Gene helped me move everything & I swept & scrubbed floors & had dinner ready when they got home from church.

Ivard went to work at 3:45 & Dean did dishes.  Gene & Ray took off for awhile.  Jerry had nap.

I don't feel good.

Jerry _ Ray & Dean went to church, after Jerry went to Caldwell to Fireside Ivard came home for hr. on his lunch hr.  We watched T.V.

Gene & Kids went to bed.

Ivard & I watched T.V. until it went off the air, he got home about 11:30.

Saturday, February 23, 1963

Dean was sick

Sunny & warm

I came home from work & read paper & ate & went to bed for hour & half.

Ivard & Gene went & got our plow home & borrowed Wallys trailer & borrowed another guys manure spreader

I got up at 11:30 & washed 4 batches of cloths.  Gene gave me back $120. I gave him for school and I went up town, Jackie & I, and bought $46. worth of groc.

Gene took Jerry up to work at D.q. 9:30 to 6:

Gene, Ray & I went up to D.q. after Ivard left for work & bought us a drink.

Dean was in bed sick all day

I cooked supper & went & got Jerry at 6: & we ate.

I worked on books & Dale & Jackie did dishes.

Ivard came home on lunch hr. at 7:45 & watched fights

Jerry went to music festival at Stake House.  I went to bed at 7:, my nite off

Friday, February 22, 1963

had T.B Patch test

Dean was sick

Sunny & nice

I came home from work froze half to death & went to bed a half hr. then we all went up to Dr. Marchisens office I had a patch test for T.B. but Dean & he passed but, he was sick any way.  The State Board of health said we had to because California notified them about Terry.  Dean will go with Gene when he gets home.  Came home at 10: & went to bed.  I woke up at 2: but laid in bed until 4: Jerry cooked supper & we ate at 5:15.  I bought 2 cherry Pies.

Kids didn't have to go to school today Dean was in bed all day.

Ivards day off, worked out in yard.

Jerry went to work at D.q. 6: to close.

I went to bed at 6:30 until time to go to work.

Ray went to bed at 8:

Gene came home tonite.

I came home from work & madeout some payments & sent Ivard to bank with my check & I went to bed at 10:

Gene came home & claned up & went to Baker to basketball tournament & I didn't get to see him again.

Ivard took Jerry to work at 11:30 & I went & got him at 6:

I woke up at 2: & I got up & got ready & Sis & I went & got Ray from school & we went up town & paid on my lawayas then Ray took Ins checks in to Dr Cluster took Jackie to Primary & went & got a few groc & came home & I cooked supper.  Kids

Ivard took Dean out to his Piano lesson at 5: Ray went after Kids from Primary but they came home with Hennis.  We ate when I got home with Jerry and Ray went to Boise to tournament with Roger.

Jerry went away awhile.

I went to bed at 6:30 but couldn't sleep.  went to work at 11:15, Ivards nite off.

Wednesday, February 20, 1963

Dean was sick

Cloudy breezy _ warm a little sun

Something broke down at work & we got done at 6:35.  Came home at 7:30 & went to bed.  got up at 11:30 & washed a couple of batches of cloths.

Jerry went & got us a hamberger, drink & super sunday for lunch.

Ivard went to work at 3:50.

I iorned all afternoon, did 44 pieces.

Jerry went & got Ray after school.

Jerry was going to get supper while I iorned & instead he went up & got us each a hamberger, drink, corn Krinkles & a bar.

I had a hot bath & went to bed at 6:10 & was just about asleep when they called & wanted Jerry to come up to D.q. to work so I got up & took him at 6:30.  Went back to bed but couldnt go to sleep then Jackie came to bed at 8:15 & I got such a stomach ache I couldn't sleep.  got up & wrote in this & went back to bed at 9:30 until 10:30 then got up & went to work.  I drove.

Gene came home from college

Cloudy _ rained some

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed at 9:30.  When I got up at 2:30 Gene had been here & left his stuff & gone on to Nyssa with Marv & Dave.  They didn't go back to college, they've been on a 3100 mile trip - Moscow, Washington, Canada.

Kids got out of school at 2:30 today.

I got ready & we followed Ivard up to gas station, he thought he'd run out of gas.  he filled his & I got 10 gal - 26 gallons.  We went to dancing & Jackie Ivard went on to work.

Came home at 5:15 & Jerry had supper ready & we ate & I took Jerry up to work at D.q. 6: to close.

The bull got out & wrecked mail box & headgate then all the neighbors had to help get him in.

I hemmed my Jersey dress, the hem came out of & at 7:30 Jackie & I went to bed.

Went to work at 11:15.

Monday, February 18, 1963

Sunny & cloudy _ rained most of nite.

Kids went to school before I got up.  I ate & read paper.

Ivard went to Bishop's office at Church & got Kays money & went & put it in bank & went to Pool hall a couple of hrs.

Jerry & I played Scrabble then Iard came & he & I played & Jerry went up town on business I washed a couple of batches of cloths & went & got Ray at 3:30 then took Ivard to work, he was out of gas.

Ray made a pink lemonade cake & Jerry cooked supper & I crocheted.  We ate & I took Jerry to work at D.q 6: to close.

I washed my & Deans hair before supper.

Ray took Dean to Mutual then went up to High S. to Speech festival.

I went to bed at 7: until time to go to work.

I took Jerry up to work at D.q. at 10:

Ivard - Ray & Dean went to Priesthood then Ivard came home & took Dean Jackie & Dale to Sunday school.

Dean & Dale did dishes & Ivard & I played Scrabble.

Jerry, Ray, Dean & Dale went to church.  I didn't feel very good & Jackie hadn't had a nap.  I got her to bed & watched T.V.

I came home from work & read paper & went to bed & never woke up until 2:30

Ivard got up & took Jerry to work at D.q at 9:30 to 6:

Dean scrubbed Kitchen & cleaned up the house

I washed some cloths & just sat around all afternoon watching T.V. & crocheting.  I still don't feel good.

Ivard left for work at 3:45.

I made bean soup & we ate supper early.

I went & got Jerry & he bought me a drink.

Ray went up to H.S. to game with Roger.  we watched T.V. & Jerry went up & bought us a Sundee

I went to bed at 11: & Jerry, Ray & Dean watched show.  Then Ivard woke me up when he got home & I couldn't go to sleep for hrs.  I had such a stomache ache

Sent Kay 12 Page letter

Sunny & warm

I got up after Kids went to school & ate & read paper.

Ivard went & got his check & I figured it out & made out payments, & we went up to bank & paid bills.  came home & Jerry went up to D.q. & I got us a hot dog & drink for lunch

I worked on my books

Jerry cooked supper & washed Rays bed.  we ate & at 6: Ray & Dean took Jerry up to work at Dairy queen & they went ward teaching.

I wrote a 12 page letter to Kay & Ivard took it up to mail & went & saw a guy about buying tractor

after dark Ivard & Jackie took garbage out to dump, no licenence on pick-up.  Ivards nite off.

Kids came home & Dean did dishes, Dale went to Garners until after dark.

I went to bed at 7:15 until time to go to work.  Ray went to Boise.

Foggy This morning & sunny all day.

I got up after Kids went to school and sat around, I feel awful

Ivards day off

I washed some cloths & crocheted & watched T.V.

I went up to school & Jackie & I sewed GDails room treets for Valentines (Room MOther) at 3:40 I took Dale & Jackie to Primary & went & bought $25. worth of groc. and came home & cooked supper.

I took Jerry up to work at D.q at 11: & went & got him at 6: & we ate.

The florest delivered Ivards & I a big boquet of white & pink & red carnations & white snapdragons for Valentines from Jerry & Kids.

Ivard took Dean out to his Piano lesson & went to Merridian & sold our 2 Surge Milker buckets for $50.  When they got home we ate & I went to bed at 7:  Ray went to game & rest of them watched T.V.

I ate, & read paper after I got home from work & went to bed at 9:30.

Ivard worked out side, on trees he pulled out.

I woke up at 3:15 & got up & when Dean got home we went up & got gas, groc. & treets for school tomorrow & a music lesson book for Dean.

Came home & Jerry had supper ready & we ate and I took Jerry to work at D.q. 6: to close.

Ivard left for work at 3:15 after he went & got Ray.

I went to bed at 6:30 but got so sick I had to get up & sit up, my period

I went after Jerry at 11: & got a 1/2 pt icecream & ate while I watched T.V.  Ivard came at 11:15 & we watched till it went off air.  I called in & laid off.  I couldn't stand up 2 min.  Went to bed at 12:30.

I came home froze to death  I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:30 & Ivard rubbed me & got me warm.

Ivard took Jerry to work at D.q. 11: to 6: I went & got him.

Ivard took out 3 trees in back Some guy came to see about buying tractor.

I got woke up at 12:30 & couldn't go back to sleep so I got up & wrote to mother & fixed Kids Valentines to mail them took Jackie to dance practice & left her & went to D.q & had drink & picked Ray up & we came home & got his letters & went up town & got some stamps, valentines & mailed them got some flowers for Jerry for tonie.  Went & got Jackie from dancing, got there in time to copy her lessons came home & got books up & went after Jerry.  We ate supper & I went to bed until time to go to work

Ray took Jerry to Stake House for M. Men. Gleaners & He went to hospital to see Mr. Kellogg.  Ray made a cake

Gene went back to Rexburg

Sunny & cool breeze - got bed spread & all the cloths dry.

I got up & ate & read paper, Kids had already gone to school.

Marvin & Dave came at 10: & got Gene & they went back to Rexburg.  Marv. had his folks pick-up.

I changed my bed & washed 5 batches of cloths.

Ivard got tractor fixed up so he can sell it, we went up town & got anti-freeze for it & got hambergers & drinks & took home for lunch.

Jerry & I went up to bank & paid 2 mo. lites & the Wards payment got Ray's filled out Ins. papers from Dr. Cluster, Picked Ray up on way home

Ivard left for work at 3:45.

Jerry cooked supper and we ate at 5: I washed my hair & took Dale up Jerry up to work at D.q 6: to close.  Dale did dishes.

Ray & Dean left for mutual at 6: The Scouts were going to Sugar Factory  Me & Jackie went to bed at 7:

We all had our 3rd Polio Shot

Sunny & nice.

Ivard _ Ray & Dean went to Priesthood & Sunday school then Gene took Dale & Jackie up & droped them off at Sunday school.  Gene & I didn't go because we thought Marvin was comeing to get him to go back to Rexburg _ never did, called at 10: P.M after we'd missed church again, and said they were going in morning.

I got Genes things packed & I had dinner ready baked a salmon with dressing.  Patched Gene's stuff.

Ivard went took us all up to High S. & had our 3rd Polio Shot (drops)

Ivard went to work at 3:45.

I took Jerry up to work at D.q. at 11: & went & got him at 5:15 & took him for his Polio Shot.

Jerry took Ray, Dean & Dale to church

I got Jackie to bed & Gene & I watched T.V.  Ray went to Fireside after & Jerry & Kids went & watched the "church of Open Door" barn up

Ivard & I watched T.V. until it went off the air.

Ivard took Dale to his last basketball tournament game.  They won, got 3rd place.  Had pictures taken for Paper.

I took Jerry up to work at D.q at 9:30, went & got him at 6:

I changed beds (bunk) & washed clothes & iorned all afternoon.  Gail came about 2: & stayed until 6:

Ivard & I took Dale over to Stake House at 2: for dance & stoped & had drink at Dairy q.

I went after Jerry at 6: & Gail was up there eating, we went to store & Jerry went in then we came home & ate.

Ray went to ball game with Roger.

We watched T.V. until it went off the air.

I got books up.  Jerry & I went up to D.q & had drink & got some change to pay Kids off.

Dean & Dale did dishes.

Gene & Ray went to Nyssa at 6: to see about Gene going back to school.  They droped Jerry off at D.q to work 6: to 10:30

Ivards day off.

Ivard & Gene took Heifer to sale $170.

Gene went to Caldwell with Mr. Madison to apologize to Coach Tate for fighting him at game the other nite & he put his back back in for him.  He was going to sue Gene & Kelloge & some of them.

I woke up at 2: & I went & took Jackie to Primary & Dale pinned Scout Pin on me & I one on him then I went & got groc & came home and fixed supper

Ivard took Dean out to Hurrens for his first Piano lesso at 5:

We ate at 6: & at 8:20 Ivard & I, Gene Ray, Dean, Dale & Jackie went to Weiser to see Gail, he was in McCall for nite but we saw Lynda & Kids.  Came home at 9:30 & stoped & picked Jerry up at D.q. at 10:30, he went to work at 8:

Everyone went to bed & I went to work

Ivards day off.  He got bumped today Too.

Wednesday, February 6, 1963

Cloudy _ Sunny _ Warm.

I came home & read paper & watched T.V., went to bed at 9:40.  Jackie woke me up at 1: to come & eat a hamberger, drink & icecream sandwich Jerry had gone up to D.q. & got.  I went back to bed but couldn't go to sleep so I got up at 3: & made banna pudding & cooked supper and washed rugs & batch of cloths.

Ivard & Gene took bull (steer) to sale this morning, rented trailer, & Gene had hair cut.

Bishop Perry called & wanted Gene to come up to his office at Church.  Talked to him about fighting last nite & about going on mission.

Ivard, Jerry, & Gene worked on yard cleaning up, all afternoon, they went & got calf check $145. before supper.

Ray didn't go to school until noon, then Kids came & got him & brought him home.  Phill came after & took Ray to get hair cut & Pads for his crutches.

Jerry went to work at D.q. 6: to close

I went to bed 6: till time to go to work

Boise set a record for warmest day since 1904 yesterday

I came home from work & read yesterday & todays paper & ate & went to bed at 9:30.

I woke up at 2:45 & Ivard was gone to work.

Jerry washed some cloths & cooked supper & made a cake.  Him & Gene spent most of day cleaning up the yard.

at 3:15 I took Jackie to dance class & came home at 5:15 & I dashed up & got Ins. papers from Dr. for Rays toe operation & got a few groc.

Dale came home & made a cake & took to cub Scout banquet.

We ate & Dean did dishes and Jerry & Gene went to Stake house to m-men-Gleaners party & Ray & Dean went there to basketball tournament.

Me & Sis went to bed at 7:

I went to work at 11:15

The crowd got in fight at game & it never was finished _ Gene got new shirt tore off.

Cloudy all day

Kids all went to school. I never woke up until 10:

Jerry took Ray to school Jerry didn't have to work today.

I spent most of day makeing out Jerry & Genes Federal & State Income Tax's

I stoped & fixed lunch

Ivard went to work at 3:

Mrs Yorgensen & Mrs Harris came Relief Society teaching I took Ins papers up to Dr. for Rays foot operation & got a drink & milk at D.q, Jerry went in then we picked Ray up from school.

Washed a batch of cloths & got books up.

Jerry made spagetti & we had supper & Dean did the dishes

Jerry took Ray & Dean up to mutual & they found a way went home and got them

I went to bed at 7: until time to go to work.  every one was in bed when I left_ Ivard passed us up on 12th.

Cloudy but warm

I got up & made fire & Put roast on & read paper.

Dean went collecting Fast offerings

Ivard _ Jerry _ Gene _ Ray & Dean went to Priesthood & sunday school.

I had a bath & me, Dale & Jackie went to sunday school.

Ivard & Jackie came home after sunday school & the rest of us stayed to Fast meeting.  I paid my tithing.  I bore my testimony.  We got home at 2:45 just as Ivard was leaving for work 3: to 11: Ivard had rest of dinner on & we ate & Dean & Dale did dishes & Ray made some carmel corn.  We watched T.V. & I got books up.

I took Jerry to work at D.q. at 5:

We played Rook, me, Dean & Dale. Gene went up & got some icecream sandwiches.

got Kids to bed.  Gene went & got Jerry at 11:15., Ivard got home at 10:30.

We watched T.V. until it went off air.

Stormy all day.  Sun shone few min.

I came home from work and read paper & went to bed until noon.

Ivard got up & took Jerry to work at D.q. at 9:30 then he took Dale to his ball game, they lost.

I washed 4 batches of cloths & iorned all afternoon.

Jackie & I went up to D.q. at 1: & got a drink, hamberger & fries for every one for dinner.

Ivard went to work at 3: to 11:

Gene laid around & had a nap.

Dean fixed supper & I went & got Jerry and we ate & Dean & Dale did dishes and I color washed my hair.

Gene _ Ray _ Dean and I played Hearts & watched T.V.

Rodney Herris came & Jerry went to Boise to dance with him, got home right after we went to bed.

Friday, February 1, 1963

warmer _ rained on & off & melted more snow.  had to evacuate 5 families on North side of Nampa.  Suckers Creek bridge washed out at Homedale & Rail R. bridge at Marshing.

Ivard went to work at 7: AM.  & at 8: Jerry & I took Ray to hospital & they exrayed his foot & Dr Marklsen put it in cast.  said it was hardest bone in body to heal & it might never.  brought him home & Jerry & I went up to D.q & had hamberger for our breakfast & got some milk & took home for Kids then went up & got Ivards check from him.  Came home at noon after we got $28. worth of groc., & Gene & them had just got up & eaten.  They played Harts until 2: when Phillips came & got Dave & Marvin.

I cooked supper & we ate at 4: when Kids got home then Ivard & I & Jerry went up & Pd. place, went to bank & Paid bills.  Came home & I worked on books & went to bed at 7: until time to go to work at 10:30

Jerry went to work at D.q. 8: to 10:

Ivard & Kids watched T.V.
