I came home from work & Ivard had gone to work again (got off at midnite). I went to bed & Dean cleaned house, Dean took Jerry to work & Dale to help Scouts on clean up & Gene went & worked on ball diamond at Stake house I got up at 1:45 & changed my bed & Deans & washed cloths all afternoon. When Ivard came we made our bed & Gene took car up & left for Jerry & walked up to Gails & Ivard & I, Dean, Dale & Jackie went up & picked Deans Suit up & paid bills & went up to Gails awhile & had ice cream & cake for Kristines birthday came home at 7: & Ivard & I went to bed. Dean went to Junior Prom in Genes car. I went to work at 11: & Ivard at 12:

Sunny - breezy I came home from work & Ivard was home in bed & Kids were all gone, Gene went with Gail on milk route. I read paper & ate & went to bed. Ivard got up & went & got his check & came back to bed & we got up at 2:15 & I made out payments & took Ivard to work at 3:30 & went to bank & paid phone & lights ect. Came home & worked on books & cooked Steaks for supper. Gail brought Gene home at 5:30.

I went & picked Dean up at Barber shop at 5:30 & we went & got Jerry from work & went & bought Dean a new suit,pr. black dress pants & Dale 2 pr school pants & Ivard & Gene a pr. Came home at 7:30 & ate & I went to work until time to go to work. Gene had gone to take Dale to show

Got letter from Ray

Sunny & warmer

I came home from work & Ivard was home & in bed. I read paper & went to bed.

Gene worked out in yard then went hunting a job & went to Gails, got home about 9: P.M.

We got up at 2: & I washed some cloths. Ivard got called to work at 4: so I fixed us lunch & took him to work then I went & paid got $36. groc., my pay day. Came home & we ate when Jerry got home & Jackie came from Primary. I went to bed at 7: & Dean, Dale & Jerry went up to church to a meeting.

Kids took car up & left for Ivard to come home.

I came home from work & Ivard as home & in bed I ate & went to bed.

Jackie went back to school today. Her & Dale rode with Jerry when he went to work.

I woke up at 1:30 & Gene was home from Lyle's so We got up I made Jello & a cake & got supper & Ivard & I & Gene played a game of Scrabble Gene bought Lyles car & it leakes oil so him & father went up to garage to see about fixing it. I washed a batch of cloths.

Dean went & had phisacal after school & Jerry brought him home after work & we ate & Dean & Dale went to Piano lessons. Went to bed until time for work. Ivard went at midnite.

I came home from work & ate & read paper. Ivard got up & we played Scrabble all day

Sis stayed home again; she has such a cold.

I washed some cloths & cooked supper & we ate when Jerry got home & Dean took Dale to Scouts & practiced organ then he came home & got Jerry & they went up to High S to Navy band programe. I went to bed at 6:30, half dead. No Mutual tonite.

Ivard did dishes & watched T.V. He had to go to work at 11: & I left for work at 11:

cloudy all day, sun came out few min. about 6:

Jackie home sick - bad cough & cold I came home from work & Ivard was still in bed. I went to bed & he got up & tended Sis & planted some garden. Jerry went to work.

I got up at 2: & fixed us some lunch & Ivards lunch & we played a game of Scrabble & Ivard left for work at 4: & I washed a batch of cloths & sewed buttons on a bunch of things. Made rice pudding for breakfast & hot cakes for supper & we ate at 5:30 & Dean had most of dishes done when Jerry got home

Jerry & Dean went to Boise to genelogy class. Dale went Home Teaching & I went to bed until time to go to work.

Jackie stayed up & watched T.V. awhile.

Sunny & warm. Jerry & Dale got up & went on their paperroute

I got up & read paper when they got home.

Ivard got home from work at 8: & went to bed awhile  & got up & watched ball game. Went back to work at 3: time & a half.

I painted & washed cloths. Jackie & I have awful colds & doctored all day.

Jerry brought stuff for hambergers & fixings home from church & I got dinner.

Jerry, Dean, & Dale went to Priesthood & S.S.

Jackie did dishes & I had nap Jerry had nap & Dean did genelogy Dale had nap too. Ivard went to work at 3:, came home at 6: for lunch, got home before I went to work. Jerry, Dean & Dale went to church & Jackie & I went to bed.

Jerry & Dean went to McCall for Day

Sunny & warm & breezy

I got up at 6:30 when Gail brought milk & took Gene on route with him & Jerry & Dean were already gone to McCall for day with Betty, left at 5:30. When Dale got home from paper route I read paper painted Trim Chem & washed cloths all day & this afternoon I iorned 31 pieces. at 11: I took Dale over to Hoagg's & got Time to do hand bills but they weren't supposed to until 1: so I got few groc & took T. home & he came over on his bike & they did bills.

Ivard got home from work at 8: & I fixed him & Dale breakfast & he went to bed & just got to sleep when guy came to plow up garden so he got up then watched ball game. Jackie stayed all nite at Benders & didn't come home until dark. Gail brought Gene home about 2: & he packed bag & went to La Grande with them. I watched T.V. until went off air. Ivard went to bed & went to work at 12:

We went up to Gails.

Sunny but windy. I came home from work & Ivard was in bed, Jerry went to work & Gene had gone on milk route with Gail. I went to bed until noon & got up & made tea & we played Scrabble. I washed cloths & cooked roast & made pudding for supper. Gail & Gene came awhile then Gail took Gene to Caldwell to Draft board & they got back after we'd eaten supper so Gail invited us up for Tartillas so Gene went up again with him & Ivard & I followed, Dale was locked in his room mad & Jackie was over to Benders for nite. Jerry & Dean had Betty here planning a trip tomorrow. We had Tartillas & came home at 9:45 & went to bed. My nite off

Bought Vanguard Fire Alarm System

Sunny but cool yet.

I came home from work froze & Ivard went to bed & gave me a good rub down to warm me up & he told me Gene had come home last nite, credits didn't get their from Ricks soon enough. He'd gone on milk route with Gail.

I woke up at 12:30 so I got up it was 10: time I went to sleep Ivard was down watching T.V. I washed some cloths & we played Scrabble & at 4: some guy came & showed us the Vanguard Fire Alarm System & we bought it $600. but we can get new curtains & pay it off that way. He installed it while I got supper. We ate when Jackie got home from Primary.

Right after we ate Gail & family came awhile & brought Gene home. I went to bed at 8: & Jerry & Dean went home Teaching. went to work at 11: Ivard didn't work today went to work 12:

Gene came home from Logan, isn't going to school.

real cloudy all day & cole wing - rained tonite.

Ivard was to work when I got home & Jerry left for work & took Dale to school, Jackie went on bus. I read paper & ate & went to bed at 9:30, locked doors & at noon Ivard came home for lunch & woke me up so I got up & made me some tea & washed 2 batches of cloths & iorned 34 pieces.

Gene had letter in mail from his girl so I put it in envelope & sent him a note & Ivard mailed it when he went back to work. I cooked supper & we ate when Jerry came. Ivard went up & got Dale from collecting Dean & Dale went to Piano L. I went to bed at 7:

Gene got home at 11:30 on bus & Ivard went up & Picked him up.

Sunny but still cold wind 20 º last nite. I was froze when I got home. Ivard was still in bed & he gave me good rub down & warmed me up. 10: when I went to sleep, woke up at 1: but Ivard made me go back to bed & I slept until 3: & got up & got supper & wrote Mother. We ate when Jerry & Dale got home & Kids left early for Mutual so Dean could practice organ. Ivard & Sis did dishes & I finished mother's letter & went to bed at 8:15 until time to go to work.

Ivard didn't work again today. He stayed up & watched T.V.

Sunny but real hard cold wind, 30 º . I came home from work & Ivard was home & in bed. Jerry took Dale & Jackie to school on his way to work. I read paper & went to bed at 9:

We got up at 1: & Ivard went & bought new filter for furnace & got some groc. I washed 3 batches of cloths we played 2 games scrabble & I cooked supper. We ate when Jerry came & he got ready & went to Boise to Institute. Dean left at 6: for Country Club to Growl banquet.

Dale didn't come from school until 7:30, went collecting

Ivard & Jackie did dishes & I got books up. I went to bed until time to go to work.

Ivard didn't work today

Dean is Editor of Growl next yr. & Vise P. of Honor Society.

Gene went to Logan to school

Lyle went home.

Sunny but cold wind. Jerry & Dale did their Paper route & Jerry got ready & left early for conference so they could save seats, him & Dean. Gail & Lyle & families came to see Gene & at 9:50 Ivard Gene & Jackie went to conference & Gail & Lyle left & I read paper & washed & patched some things for Gene. At 12:30 Lyle, Gail & families came back with groc. & I had 2 roasts cooked & sliced & we fixed dinner & ate when Jerry, ean & Gene came from conference, then Jerry & Dean went back & at 4: Gene left for Logan Utah to school with Butler girls. We played 1 game penochle & Lyle & Gail left. I went to bed & Dale & Ivard, Jerry, Dean & Jackie went to night meeting of Conference Stake Speach Contest for ward winners - Dean had to talk.

Gene got home from Mission

Sunny & cool

I came home from work & Ivard had gone to work. Jerry went to work & I went to bed. Dean scrubbed & cleaned house good. Jerry & Ivard came home for lunch & Ivard took Jerry back so we'd have a car. I got up at 12: & changed all the beds & washed. Gail went to Boise at 2: & met plane & Gene was on it & they brought him home & visited awhile then Lynda & Kids went home & Gail & Dean went up to Stake House with Gene to see President Ison then they picked Jerry up & came home at 7: & we ate. Ivard & I & Sis went to store while they were gone. We ate & Jerry & Gene took Gail home & went to Jewlie Rhodes wedding reception Dean went to Seminary Party & I went to bed. Ivard woke me up at 10:30 & I felt so bad he laid me off for tonite & I got up & watched show. Lyle & Barbra came at 10:45 to see Gene then went up to Gails & stayed all nite.

I came home from work & Ivard was in bed. I went to bed & Jerry went to work. Ivard got up & hoed roses. He went & got his check while I slept. He got me up at 12:30 & I finished the federal income tax & we went up & mailed it & went to bank & paid place then I droped father off at some guys to go to Boise to work at 3: & I came home & did State Income tax & Dean took it up after he came from school. I made Stew & we ate when Jerry got home. Dean took Dodge up to that guys & left for Ivard & Jerry picked him up. I went to bed at 7: We have to work this week end.

I came home from work & Ivard was still in bed. I was froze to death & he gave me a good rub down. He got up & cleaned garage. I woke up at 12:30 & made out some payments & we went to bank with my check, & paid sent payments Pd. Wards & I got 140 lbs wash soap on sale for 2 yr supply, groc came home & fixed Ivard something to eat & he left for work in Boise at 3: I worked on Income tax & washed rugs & stuff.

Dean got ride home. Dale mowed lawn. Jackie came from Primary & her, Dale & I ate Jerry & Dean went to Boise to supper. Bishop took Gold & Green ball dancers. I went to bed at 7:30 till time to go to work.

I came home from work & ate & went to bed. I was froze. Ivard was still in bed & he rubbed my back. He got up & moved the fire place wood out of flower be. I got up at 1:40 & fixed Ivard some lunch & washed some cloths & put some up Jerry washed before he went to work.

Ivard left for work in Boise at 2:55. & I worked on my income tax & got supper & we ate when Jerry got home from work. Dale got home at 5:30, getting Paper starts. Dean walked home.

Kids didn't go to Piano lessons tonite & Jerry & Dean went home teaching.

Sunny - cloudy - rained during nite. Ivard got up & took Dale on paper route in rain & got Jerry & Dean from train

I came home from work & read papers & went to bed, Ivard was in bed. He got up later & did yesterays dishes

Jerry didn't work today - did genelogy most of day, went & got stuff for hambergers & I fixed them for supper

Ivard left for Boise at 3:

Jerry went & picked Dean up at school & we ate & they went out to Mrs Hurrens & Jackie did dishes.

I went to bed at 7: until time to go to work, after Lenord came & got Dales paper bill

I came home from work & got ready & went over to Irene Johnsons at 9:30 & went to Boise with her to all day tri-chem meeting at Imperial room of Owyhee Hotel We had lunch right in our conference room, barbacue chicken $1.80. got home at 6:

Ivard was home & in bed when I came from work & gone to work at Boise on 3:30 job when I got home, all week.

Easter Vacation, no school. Kids were fighting with neighbors when I got home. I went to bed & Dale went to collect. Ivard woke me up at 11:30, ringing door bell. I really had to hurry got to work at streight up midnite.

cold - cloudy & rained most of day. Ivard & Dale got up & did Dale & Jerrys paper route in rain. Ivard came home at 7:50 & Lenard Rose finished route with Dale & Ivard went to work, came home for lunch & got home at 3:30. I made deviled eggs, baked beans & jello & we ate when Ivard came.

I listed to General Conference & painted. Washed some cloths.

Jackie did dishes & Ivard went to bed at 4:30. I got books up.

Dale went to church with Hogg's.

I had bath & went to bed until time to go to work.

Ivard went to work again at mid nite.

Ivard & Jerry got up & did Dales paper route then Ivard went back to bed. I painted a red checked rooster apron & a bib for Billies birthday

Lyle & Barbra came at 10:30 & we played a game of Penochle & a game of Scrabble then they left to Spend tonite & tomorrow at Metcalfs.

Ivard & I played Scrabble & at 4:30 when Jerry got home from work & Dale got home from Scout trip.

Jerry got ready & I took him up to catch 5:30 bus for Salt Lake & SIs & I went to store & got egg dyes & came home & I boiled eggs & Dale & Jackie colored them. Kids went to bed at 9: & I watched T.V. until it went off air at 1: AM. Ivard got home at midnite, raining.

Sunny all morning, cloudy & cooler this afternoon.

No school, easter vacation. Ivard came home from work & I got up & made hot cakes & we ate.

Jerry took Dale up to church, on his way to work, to go on overnite Scout trip.

We played Penochle until noon & Lyle left for Gails & Ivard had bath & went to bed. I washed 3 batches of cloths & mixed 4 loaves bread & painted all afternoon. Ivard got up at 4:30 & we played Scrabble & Jackie fixed supper & we ate when Jerry got home at 7: & Ivard did dishes & Jerry & Sis went over to Helen Johnsons about Era. Ivard went to bed at 8:30 & Me - Jerry bought me & Jackie Easter dress. My nite off.

Sunny & nice. I came home from work & Ivard was still in bed & I went to bed & he gave me a good rub down. He got up & did last nites dishes on his birthday. He woke me up at 1:30 & I got up & he went up town & got new tire mounted on car. I made him 2 birthday cakes & cooked roast.

Lyle & family came at 4:, Lyles vacation we played Scrabble then Gail & family came & I got supper & we all ate Ivards birthday supper. 21 of us. Lynda & Barbra went & got icecream to go with cakes. We played Penochle until 11:30 & Ivard went to work & Gail went home & we went to bed. I laid off, no rest. Jerry took Dean up to catch 8:30 train for Utah & conference.

I got up at 2: & washed some cloths & Ivard went to work at 4: left early & went to Post office & left some Ins. papers at hospital & went & traded Jerry cars.

I fixed hamberges for supper & we ate when Jerry got home & Dean & Dale went to Piano lesson.

I went to bed until time to go to work.

Dale got up & went to Piano L - sick all day.

I came home from work & Ivard was already home & in bed. I read paper & ate & went to bed. We got up at 1:30 & I made some tea & wrote Ray & we went up to Bank & got cashiers check & sent Ray his $90. & went to Nampa floral greenhouse & changed cars with Jerry & got 4 roses he bought & was just going to Wards to get new tire mounted when Mr. Baker came & said Ivard was called to work so we went to R.R. & Ivard dashed me home. One more minute & he would have missed out I washed 4 batches of cloths & cooked supper. Dale went collecting.

We ate when Jerry got home & Jerry Dean & Dale left for Mutual at 6:40 so Dean could Practice organ. I patched & went to bed at 7:45

Ivard got home at midnite.

I came home from work & Ivard was already home & in bed.

Jerry went to work & took Jackie to school. I ate & read paper & went to bed at 9:15.

It was 4: when we woke up. Jackie had come home & gone to neighbors to play.

Ivard went out & worked in yard until dark & I got my books up & cooked supper & we ate when Jerry got home at 6:15. Dale went collecting after school & didn't get home until 7:30.

Dean did dishes  & him & Jerry got ready & went to Boise to Institute.

We went to bed at 8:30 & I went to work at 11: & Ivard went at midnite. Kids were home before I left.

R.R. went back to work after strike

Sunny but cool.

It was 3: A.M.when we got home from Le Grande & went to bed then at 5: Ivard & Dale went on Paper route. Jerry went on his paper route & had car trouble & flat tire, got home at 9:30 & went to work at 9:30 at Nampa Floral all day.

Ivard, Dean & Dale went to Priesthood, S.S & Fast meeting Ivard came home & took Jackie

I changed my bed & washed 2 or 3 batches of cloths, did up all my iorning, 40 pieces & cooked dinner - painted awhile

Dean went to cottage meeting at 3: I washed my hair & had shower & at 6: Ivard & I, Dale & Jackie went over to Gails & played Penochle & ate Pop corn. Came home at 9:30 & I laid down hr. & went to work Ivard went at midnite. strike is over

Sunny - windy

Dale went on paper route & I was up at 6:30 when he got home. I made hot cakes & we ate & Jerry went to work & Dale rode up with him & went collecting I washed cloths & Ivard did dishes & at 11: Ivard & I & Jackie went & picked Dale  up & got gas & went to Le Grande to see Lyle. Got up there at 1: their time & had lunch & Lyle went back to work. I had nap I was so tired. Crocheted We ate supper about 7: & played Penochle & left for home at 11: Got here at 3 A.M.

Dean got home from Jernalism Convention at Moscow at 10:30 won an award for Esay. My nite off. Rail Road on strike, so Ivard is off.

Friday, April 1, 1966

I came home from work & Ivard was still in bed. I went to bed & Ivard got up & went up to Labor Temple until noon. I woke up at 12:30 so I got up & washed cloths & iorned.

Ivard work on yard & we played Scrabble. he went back up to labor temple again.

Got supper & we ate & I went to bed early, I was so tired.

Ivard stayed up & watched T.V.
