Genes Farewell testimonial
sunny & cloudy_ real foggy during nite. Ivard didn't work & I laid off.
Ivard came home & went to bed. I read paper & got up & cleaned up & made jello salad for dinner.
Jerry took Dean & Dale to Priesthood & he came home after & I took him up to D.q to open up, had to work 10: to 5: Gene went to Priesthood then went & took his girl to sunday school Ray & Jackie went to sunday school.
When they got home & Kay & Claudia & Lyle droped his 3 Kids off we ate then Gene had to go to Stake House at 2: to be made an Elder by David Hurren. Ivard & I, Dale, Jackie Stanley Terry & David went to Metcalfs to their 30th wedding open house, didn't stay long. picked Jerry up on way home at 5: 4 Boys came from Rexburg & we all went to Church for Genes farewell about 10 Kids came from Owghee ward, Ray Schutlhies. We all had to sit on stand (our family) 11 of us. Gene & Jackie cried but Gene got over it to talk. Ivard did good. I forgot half I was going to say. after Gail had us all up for Barbacue buffet, about 30 of us, Owyhee bunch, college Kids, Wally Bryson & Seth Forsgrin & wives (speakers) Korth came after we ate & took family Picture
