Gene left for Fiji
sunny. got up & all had bath & got ready & ate & packed up, I went to Salt Lake & got Gene $200. worth of travelers check & some film then went out to Irvins & had lunch Irv gave Gene $20. we went to airport by 1:30 and at 2:40 Gene flew out on Western 4 engine Jet for San Francisco on his way to Fiji. Ray Tovey & Claudia came to see him off. We dashed in to L.D.S hospital & Ivard & I & Ray went up & saw mother & left Jackie in Lobby she feels a little better, they are takeing all Kinds of tests. We went out & saw Fat & Sara & had supper with them then took Jackie over to Irvins & left her & went to hospital again at 7: Ray went to ball practice with Mike & Frank. We stoped & got Ray & we went over to Irvins awhile then at 10: we went up to Stellas to stay all nite. Kept us up until after midnite watching slides. I was So tired.
