Kays reception at Bountiful

Sunny & hot _ breeze _ rained tonite

Kids ate over to Bernieces & we ate & Ivard did dishes while I gathered things up ready to go.  He took Dale up to Barber & I washed Jackies hair.  Dean did Bernieces dishes.  I washed Dales hair & we told them goodbye & left for Salt Lake at 11: We took mothers electric blanket, we gave her last birthday, in to Westinghouse to be fixed.  We were a hr. running around about it.  We stoped & had hamberger & shakes for lunch.  We went to Irvins & visited & Ruth fixed us supper & we all bathed & got ready.  Had to be up at Stake House in Bountiful by 7: for pictures before reception at 8: Dale was ush gift bearer & wore white dinner jacket, & Ray Came from Provo & wore white dinner jacket & was usher.  Jackie was flower girl.  There was a big crowd came.  had programe at 10: & we stood in line until then.  Jerry came too left on bus at 6: this morning, got here at 4: & we took him to S.L. to catch 1: A.M bus back home, had to work tomorrow.  They got a lot of nice things & a good varity.  Rained all evening.

Ray saw Gene today.  They stoped in Provo to practice on way to game at Grand Junction Colorado Ray went with us & stayed at Irvins.
