Lyle & family came down for week end.
We went to Vernal - tah.
breezy & warm
we drove all nite. Stoped at Glenwood Springs Colorado & had breakfast
Ivard, Gene & I took turns driveing.
We to to Cheryls grandmothers, Bert Shiner's, in Vernal Utah at 12:30. She fixed us a real fancy fried chicken dinner & Ivard & I had a nap, & Gene & Cheryl went visiting friends & the missionaries. At 5: Bert, Mr. Jones Mother, took us up town with her to get Kids a present. She spent 50. then took us to Dinasar Museum & bought Jackie a souvinere plate. Went back & had bath & at 7: friends & neighbors droped in to open house clear until 10:30. Kids got lot of nice things. L.D.S. People, Bert belongs to church, has money - widow. We stayed with her all nite.
