Got letter from Ray
stormy & snowed all morning & during nite. We got up & ate & got ready & went to Salt Lake & they took Ike to Dr. for his 6 week check up & shot and Gene called Dr. about his blood tests they were OK, doesn't have diabeties. We brought Ike & Claudia home & Kay Gene & I went down to Union furniture & I bought Ike a chrome high chair. Gene was sure excited, more than Kay Ike sure liked it too, he could see himself in chrome tray. Sally came & tended Ike & I took Kay, Claudia, Gene & Jackie to "Brattens Cove" & had dinner, seafood Place, real nice. We went up to Ruth & Rays awhile too. Kays day off.
At 6:45 Kay - Claudia & Gene took us in to depot to catch train for home, we left at 7:30, the train was packed. We slept pretty good in our seats.
