Gene worked all day for Kay
Ivard didn't work.
Mother got up & went to sunrise services with Berniece then they came back & we went up to Lions Club breakfast Came back & did genelogy then at 11:15 we rode up to Parade with Ken & Berniece. Came home & ate & worked on histories then at 5: we went down to Ken's Mothers & ate barbacued chicken done in iorn pots in hot coals & potatoes done same way sure good & hot rolls mother took & good salad & strawberry sherbert Berniece took. There was Palmers, Ken, Berniece & Kids, Beverly & husband & Kids, Bruce [?] Mother, Jackie & I. Ken had few fireworks went home after dark & I packed & mother finished fixing my dresses. Kay came at 10:30 with Claudia & we went to Bountiful & gased up & took Claudia home & I got Fran & left for home at 12:30. I had to drive most of way.
Ivard & Kids, Ruth, Ray, & Kids went to Idaho City on picnic with Ray Evelyn, Lawrence & Afton Ray Bair & Mrs Bair & families. went to Caldwell fireworks
