Dean left for Valley Forge for 3 weeks Jerry moved into apartment.

100° Jerry & Rays day off.  Jerry took Dean up to Rail Road to check his big bag for Valley forge & have his picture taken. and Dale rode his bike out to Hurrens for Piano L Jerry came back & they got their books & he took Dean & Jackie out for their lesson & he went up town & went back & got them. They came home at noon & loaded up & went up to Jerrys new apt. then came back & got another load & I went with them & Lyle came & took a load then went & got Barbra & showed her. real nice huge living room, dineing room, Kitchen big bedroom & tiled bath on 12th ave, in basement. Dean went & got hair cut & I washed it. We ate supper at 4:

at 6:30, Lyle, Gail & families came & Jerry bought a fancy decorated birthday cake & icecream & we had a birthday party on Dean before he left. We had to be up to depot at 8: then train was late & never came until 10:45. long waite. took Jerry to his apt. & helped him make bed. Dale went to Mutual & still saw Dean off. Ray went to T. ware Party. Lyle came.

Monday, July 6, 1964

hot. Ivard called at 6:30 A.M & I went up to Rail Road & got him he was too many times out to work today so he came back home & went to bed. I stayed up & read paper & changed Kids beds & washed up all the cloths.

Ray went to work at D.q. 9:30 to 6:30.

I cooked roast & Jackie & Dean made up beds. Ivard got up & fixed fence.  Then we took Kids & went up town & saw Jerry a min then Ivard took his shaver back to S&H Green Stamps for new one & Dean & I went to drug store & got his film & stuff for Valley Vorge. got a few groc. & came home & cooked supper & when Jerry & Ray got home we ate & Dean did dishes. Jerry & Ray went to M. Men & Gleaners & me & Kids took Ivard up to Catch 8:15 train We stoped at D.q. while Dale cleaned yard. went to bed when we got home

Sunday, July 5, 1964

Plenty warm

Jerry_Dean & Dale went to Priesthood Sunday school & Fast meeting. Jerry came home & took Jackie.

I read paper in bed & got up & was working on puzzle when Ivard came about 10:30, got ride up with some guy. I stayed home in case he should call. He listened to & watched ball game. We played Scrabble & Ivard helped make my bed.

Ray opened up D.q & worked until 5: Jerry had to go until close 10:

Dean & Dale went & passed Faster offerings after we ate.

Ivard had to go again on 8:15 train so me, Dean, Dale & Jackie took him up then stoped at D.q. & had Deans birthday Party before he left. ate fries, space burger, 2 drinks & sundee in car. sat out there until Jerry got off at 10:15. Ray was watching T.V. when we got home.

Saturday, July 4, 1964

hot, cool Tonite & real cloudy rained little

Jerrys day off at Safeway so he worked at D.q. 9:30 to 6: Ray traded for nite shift & left up Canyon with M men & Gleaners all day. They were both gone when I woke up late. I washed 2 or 3 batches of cloths & changed my bed then didn't ever get it made & had to sleep in it that way.

Dean & Jackie cleaned up the house & we played Easy Money all afternoon, me, Dean, Dale & Jackie, Sis won. We ate early, hot dogs.

Ray got home about 5:30 & Jerry at 6: & they got ready & went to Boise to dance, M-Men Gleaner

I watched T.V. & crocheted. Ray got some one to work for him tonite Lyle came at dark & took Dean Dale & Jackie to Caldwell to Fire Works. got home at 10:45 & had sparklers on lawn.

Friday, July 3, 1964

I washed some cloths. Ivard called about 9: & I went up & got him. Dale went with Gail today on route.

This afternoon Ivard & I & Jackie went up town & paid some bills and got a book for Dean to write his Valley Forge trip in. Had drink at D.q.

Cooked supper & we ate & me & Kids took Ivard up to catch train for G.F. at 8:15. stoped at D.q & had drink & watched bug catcher awhile.

hot. Jerry went to work at 8:

Dean went up & took Ray to work at D.q. then went & got me some Purex & I washed cloths while he took Sis to Primary & waited for her. when he came back he went up & got me some lemon juice & I made me some ice tea & crocheted got clothes in & put away.

Ivard came home & brought car back from Glenns Ferry & left it. got home about 6: A.M. We got up early & took Ray to Caldwell to see Paroll board at 9: so we went out to Simplots first & pd my Ins for July & went to Dairy Co-op & got 5 lbs cheese. came back at 9:45 & droped Ray off at D.q to work & had drink then we went up town & Paid place & went to bank & paid bills & picked Jerry up at noon after we took Ivard to catch the train at noon, for Glenns Ferry.  Jerry had to work at D.q. this afternoon, drive Truck

made out payments & went & signed up for unemployment at 2:30 & went & got Barbra & took her to Wards, we got some shirts 4 for $5. took her to Safeways & home & came home & fixed supper. Dale & Dean went on truck, D.q, with Jerry. Took Ray up to tend Kids for Gail at 6:30, got Kristine out of hospital Today
