Sunny - thawed some - warmer
Jerry went on milk route & never got home until 5:30 Dale went on paper route & when he got to town bike tire went flat so he walked around route & home I went to bed at 4: A.M. & got up at 9: changed Kids beds & washed cloths all day, finished last nites puzzle.
Fixed turkey & left overs from Genes dinner Tues & we ate at 5:30. Dean read most of day, doesn't feel good. Ivard watched ball games. Ray went up & got his check & pd. bills then went up town again 4: & bought Me a big oil painting from guy that Paints while you watch
washed my hair, had treatment & tinted it & washed Deans.
Dean & Dale went to Stake Center to New Years Eve Party - Jerry went to bed & rest of us watched T.V Ivard went to bed at 11: Me & Sis & Ray at 12:20. Dean and Dale got home at 1:15

Dale went on Paper route for Kid & Jerry & Dean went on milk route Jerry got home at 2:30 & Jerry had to be up to Home Daries at 3: to see about his job, they bought out Alpan Rose Dairy.
I worked on puzzle most of day with Ivard & played games with Kids. Watched afternoon show & at 4: Dean & I went up tow to Bank & Paid bills. Came home & ate & they cleaned up & at 7: Ray had Dairy Queen Party here. Ham dinner. every one brought something Ray had to make mashed potatoes
Cheryl called & ask for herself that was to let us know she got to Kays, about 5:

Cheryl left for Utah with her Mother
cold - stormy - snow flurries
I got up & fixed breakfast & it was about 11: before any one got up & got around to eating. Dale did Substitute Paper route.
Mrs. Jones & Cheryl came over & took Dale, Jackie & Neva back over with her all day & they got all of Cheryl's things packed & when Jerry came from milk route they went over & loaded her stuff & brought it over to store in our garage.
Ray went to work at DQ for awhile today. Cheryl came & told us good bye & they left at 5:30 for Uta, she called at 8:30 from Mountain Home. Took them that long, so slippery.
I went up & signed for unemployment. Ray & I fixed supper, enchiladas. Jerry & Dean did dishes & I worked on my books. Ivard & Ray worked on Jig Saw P.

Gene left for Fort Lewis, Wash.

Cold & cloudy - wind
Gene came over & got Dean to go to Boise, to help Mrs. Jones get back, at 7: AM. He had to leave at 3:15 for Fort Lewis. At 1:30 Dean called us & told us what time he was leaveing so when Jerry got home & we called Ray at D.Q & he came home & Ivard & I - Jerry, Ray, Dale & Jackie went over to Gowen Field & saw him off on Plane. He cried, he sure hated to go. Joneses followed us home & Jerry dashed to store & we fixed hambergers & ate & Mrs Jones did dishes. We played games & worked puzzles. Neva stayed all nite. They left & we went to bed about 10:30.
Kids didn't have Piano lesson this week.
Got my Xmas Put away.

Dale went on paper route to learn it to substitute & came home bawling, it was too cold
I spent all morning cooking turkey dinner for Gene last day. and we ate about 2: Mrs Jones & her 3 girls Gene & Cherl, us & Lyle 13 of us. Ray was to work at Dairy Q.
Lyle came over with out Barbra & Kids so we could visit with Gene without Kids running around
They moved Genes freezer over here & we played games until midnite & Dean played for us. Lyle told us goodbye & went back over to Metcalfs at 12:, was going home in Morning Gene left about 12:30 & we went to bed.

Foggy this morning but sunny all day. I got up & made hot cakes & it was 11: time they ate.
Jerry got Gene to go on milk route with him.
Dean doesn't feel good, he did dishes. We played penochle & Kids walked over to Gene's. we played games & I washed some cloths.
I was just going to fix supper about 4: & Lyle & Barbra packed up & left for Metcalfs. I think Barbra was mad because I hollored at Kids.
We ate & Gene & Jones came over & we visited & played games
Lyle left for Metcalfs

Lyle & family came
Snowed 4 ins about 7 A.M. & flurries on & off all day
We got up at 4: to open presents & waited until 5: for Gene & Mrs Jones & we opened our presents. everyone had a wonderful Xmas.
Jerry went on paper route & Gene went home & at 10: Gene came back & brought Mrs. Jones & her 3 girls & we had breakfast, sausage, scrambled eggs, toast & milk & apple sauce.
Ivard didn't feel good & him & I & Ray went to bed & Gene took Dean & Dale to Priesthood. When Jerry came he took Jackie to S.S.
Gene came at 5: to open presents but Lyle didn't show up so we locked up & all went to church. Lyle came to church & got Key. After church we opened the presents we drew names for & had lunch buffet. Gene went home at 11:45 & we went to bed. roads real slick.
