went to Rexburg to Utah, Granstville

Ivard started his last week's vacation

raining when we left home at 4:30 A.M for Rexburg on our way to Utah.  I had to lay off but its Ivards vacation.  Kids don't have school Mon. & Tues. but will miss rest of week.  We stoped at Arco & had breakfast at 8:30 & got to Rexburg at 10:15, had to waite until Gene got back to his room about 10:45 then we went up to his room & visited awhile with him & his room mate.  They just moved into big new dormitory & hes on 2nd floor.  When gene went to eat early for & ready for game we went & had root beer float & drove around until time for game.  It really poured on us for about 10 min got soaked.  They played Dixie & got beat 16 to 8 Gene really played a good game.  They were ahead 8 points until they got in fight & one of Ricks best players got Kicked out.  Gene was captain.  We waited for Gene after the game & I crocheted then we took Gene & went down town & had supper then we took him up to dorm so he could go to dance & we went & got us a nice room at Rex Motel & I started to watch Lawrence Welk & was asleep in 2 min I was so tired.  It wasn't too cold but seemed good to get in our of air, didn't need fire on.
